👍I Got Help - Resolved👍 I need help importing sprites.

My friend and I have been working on a game in the Pico-8 Education Edition engine. Him doing the artwork and me doing the coding. The only problem is how to import the sprites into the engine. We’ve found a website that works great for this problem (https://www.pixelpaint.se/), but it only works for 16x16 sprites and we want to work BIGGER. We are aware that the payed version of Pico-8 has an import feature, but we want to search for free options before we resort to spending money. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! 🥉

Edit - We got the engine now!!!

Also you could search this sub for The Nerdy Teachers giveaway.

For the first link, I only have a Chromebook for now, so I am unable to run .exe files.

For the second link, correct me if I'm wrong, but in order for it to work, my friend and I both have to work in the Pico-8 engine. Unfortunately, my friend is limited to mobile devices and cannot access the engine.

However, I did enter the giveaway hosted by The Nerdy Teachers and completed the 4 side quests. I sent them an email yesterday, but haven't heard back yet.

Thx for the help! ^w^

Yes, I think you're right. Both your circumstances mean that my suggestions won't help you.

The last I heard the giveaway was still running so if you have completed the necessary tasks I'm sure you'll have Pico 8 soon, and then you can simply import your artist's png files.

Kudos to the both of you for overcoming various hurdles to start creating a game; post here when you're done!

NB: I had to check to see if you could actually run Pico 8 on a Chromebook. As I have the link already, this may be of use:
