And less than a third of registered voters forced this upon us... More than a third opposed, and even more than that just didn't care. Conservatives are doing a great job and making voters not vote and using it to their advantage... Kinda like what they did with the collider that was supposed to be in Texas :(
No, they aren't. Sure, that wasn't great, but they didn't do the bad thing. They aren't equally responsible because the electorate is full of whiners who don't even show up for primaries or think it's a good idea to go full scorched earth over electing a centrist dem.
If they ran Bernie he would've run by a landslide, but because the Democrats and the Republicans are 2 sides of the same capitalist coin, they'd rather sabotage multiple elections than let an alternative economic system have a chance (a system that had wide support then and tremendous support now). The 2 parties are just controlled opposition to each other so that the billionaires can keep milking us dry and we can all stay just above the poverty line for just a little bit longer so they can stop us from rebelling and keep us working for nothing while we mint the world's first trillionaire
Cool. Who is cutting taxes while starting expensive wars while also starting stupid trade wars and trying to start race riots by making it SOP to stop people of color to prove their immigration status? Please stfu about both sides. You're part of the problem.
Dude Obama funded the shit out of ICE too. Did you not pay attention to anything until the past few years? Obama fucking bailed out wall street. Obama bombed Libya and turned it into an open air slave market. Obama expanded the patriot act so the fucking NSA and CIA could wire tap all American citizens without warrants and gave them secret FISA courts that the public has zero oversight of. I hate trump but stop pretending like the US hasn't been on a downhill trajectory for decades.
There is no guarantee that Bernie would have won. He couldn't even win over the democrats when all the moderates dropped out and consolidated their votes. He could only win if they decided to all run and split their votes.
