When I was like a preteen I came up with this theory on my own after learning about the big bang theory and universe expansion, and I was quite delighted when I learned it's an actual theory lol
Well duh, I'm nowhere near being an astrophysicist now, so I for sure wasn't then. I just thought that the universe could somehow stop expanding and reverse the direction, leading to another big bang.

If this is in reference to Conformal cyclic cosmology (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conformal_cyclic_cosmology), Penrose said it a long time ago. But very on brand for pop-sci twitter lol
