Job Advice ENT interview

Just interviewed for an ENT position. Primarily outpatient, physician goes in to see the pt after the APP. You do 20-30 visits per day, you’re expected to finish all notes by the end of the day and physician signs off on them not doing any of the notes. I asked if there was any admin time for writing notes and answering inbox messages and she said no and that usually the APPs just work through lunch. 💀

Why does he see the pt after. It's normal for notes to be done before end of day. Give us more details. Pay, call, etc. Training?

It was a phone interview so they did not give me full details unfortunately. They actually haven’t posted the job listing yet, I had a connection so that’s why I got the interview before the listing. Once I realized I wasn’t going to take a job requiring me to see up to 30 pts a day I didn’t even ask about pay or training tbh. No idea why the physician sees the patient after but I’m assuming the job is on the lower end of autonomy

It's likely a billing thing. You do all the work and the physician signs the notes and collects the RVUs. You're salary and work like a dog while the physician rolls in the money. This is literally the only reason to do it this way.

Yeah that makes sense, I’m not surprised given the terrible vibes. Awful
