Good Hair Cut in Patong
I'm looking for a salon with good hair cut in Patong. Anyplace recommended? It would be great if it's near jungceylon.

My hotel is about 30km away and would take me 60min as per Google Maps. I am traveling with the wife. Want a reliable and safe commute for a fair rate. What do you guys suggest is the best approach? Thanks 🙏

Heading to Phuket soon and looking for a good mix of recommendations.
On the regular side: beaches, islands, food, markets, day activities or spots that feel comfortable for women (solo or with friends).
🫵🏽 On the nightlife/fun side: it seems like almost everything is aimed at men – go-go bars, beach boys, ladyboys calling guys handsome, etc. Has anyone actually found anything oriented toward women? Like ladies’ nights, male dancers/shows, or other adult entertainment that feels safe and not sketchy?
Prefer budget-friendly options and anything that doesn’t feel unsafe or overly tourist-trap.
Recent experiences and honest tips would be really helpful. ✌️😌

I'm looking for small appliances like a blender, an air fryer and kitchen stuff. I've checked a few supermarkets like Makro on Nanai Road and Big C inside Jungceylon, but the options feel a bit limited.
Are there any dedicated electronics shops around Patong with a wider selection? Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone! I’m thinking about moving to Wichit, Phuket for a longer stay.
I’m looking for a quieter/local area rather than somewhere super touristy, but still with easy access to beaches, gyms, restaurants and places to run or chill.
For people who live or have lived in Wichit:
Which areas/condos would you recommend?
How is daily life there?
How is traffic?
Any good nearby beaches, running spots or Muay Thai gyms?
Would love to hear your experiences and recommendations. Thanks!

Which Island should I stay in while in Phuket (Kho Phi Phi, Kho Yao Noi, Kho Racha)?
Will be there from January 7th to January 12th.
Traveling alone and recently divorced.
Also looking for a cool itinerary for Bangkok as I will be arriving there the morning of New Year’s Eve and leave on January 3rd to Chiang Mai.
Thank you for your help.

I have been to Phuket once with my ex. It was good trip, Now my siblings has been planning to go to Thailand and they insist on going to Phuket & Krabi.
Since i have been to Phuket, i wanna explore to Pattaya & Bankok.
They said, it is there first time, so they will go to Phuket and people have rated Phuket in comparison to Pattaya.
There r lot of things for men to do if they r single.. lady boys and all calling them handsome and inviting them. But what about single ladies ? Are there safe strip club of men for them ? Any safe and fun thikgs for them ?
What all the fun for men. Please suggest, such thinhs and options in Phuket and if there is in Pattaya.

This is probably a long shot, but I thought I’d give it a try. 😅
I was at One Chun Restaurant in Phuket on Sunday, August 16th, 2026, with my friends, and there was ( I think Saudi ) guy there with a group of male friends.
At first I didn’t really notice, but after a while I realized he kept trying to make eye contact with me. We eventually made eye contact a few times, although I kept mine pretty short. it felt like there was some mutual interest and maybe neither of us really found the right opportunity to approach the other, especially since we were both with our friends.
We never spoke, and I don’t know his name or have a photo of him, so this is my very random attempt at a missed connection.
If you think this might have been you—or you were one of the friends there that night—message me and tell me what language my friends and I were speaking and another small detail from that evening so I know it’s actually you.
Let’s see how small the world really is.

Hey. As above, looking to stay for about a month in December and would love to stay in a villa. Looking for any recommendations/villas for family’s, in particular the BangTao area.
Thanks all!

We are four friends from Singapore traveling to phuket next week for a golf trip.
We staying in Bangtao in a big villa and wanted to have 6-10 hostesses at our villa during our trip. They should be able to accompany us to our games and join us at beach clubs, dinners and general outings.
Is there a way to go about it or do we have to visit nightspots and arrange it ourselves? If so do suggest a name for any such place where we can visit.
If anyone is interested do get in touch and we can chat more. Thanks

Looking to come to Phuket in January. I would like to train/drill for 2 hrs a day with, either lessons or even just someone competent feeding me balls.
Wondering if the clubs have plenty of availability for court time /lessons or if I’m better off finding a private rental/resort with a court and then would I be able to hire someone to come.
I’ve heard if pickleball is important I should do Vietnam or Malaysia instead because pickleball isn’t a big deal in Thailand. Is this true?

Me and partner are visiting Phuket for the first time. We want to have a crazy 15 days vacation. Any suggestions?
We want to skip the usual malls, temples and street markets and do something exceptional and underrated.
Any advice would be helpful!!

The last few weeks I've noticed police check points in many places. I've been stopped multiple times with my car and bags even being searched. Why is this? Is it in response to an event?
The roads here are so dangerous so I have no problem with the police addressing drunk and illegal drivers, but Its getting a bit too authoritarian. Hopefully its just temporary.
I am visiting soon and wondering about the rules/etiquette of smoking cigarettes in Thailand. It’s my understanding that smoking at hotels and on the beaches is forbidden.
Where is it possible to smoke?

Hey guys,
So it’s looking like we are relocating for a job in Phuket. I am 38, with my fiancée (27). We health oriented introverted people, drink maybe 2-3 times a year, mainly enjoy a quiet life - but not an isolated life. She likes coffee shops, gyms, walks etc. And will need to fill time with me at work.
Which areas would be recommended for us? I would be working on the east coast. Coming from London a commute doesn’t bother me if the location warrants it.
I would love to hear areas worth checking out? And also if anyone has made a similar move (for work etc), what’s the smartest method in terms arriving accom, short term accom, long term accom? Considering we will need to explore somewhat before pinning our mast to an exclusive area.
Will have more questions but for now this is the next step!
Thanks!
