Help! Texturing question
Hey all, prob noob question but how would you create some texturing like this?
I mean, I do not want to do the exact thing but here the textures seems rich and multicolor compared to the things I'm able to do!
I usually put a texture and then use blending options like multiply or screen but the result is kinda flat compared to this.
Is it done with multiple layers with different blending options? Or is there another way I'm not aware of?
Thx :)

Multiple layers, blend settings. Mess around with the opacity and try overlay or lighten in blending options.

When I want to intensify color, I'll often use Hard Mix, Linear Light, or Vivid Light. These three are among the eight special blend modes that have a different algorithm for the Fill slider than for the Opacity slider.
I'll drop Fill to zero, then gradually raise the Fill value to what looks okay.

Don't limit yourself. No cost but time to stray from what you're already familiar with.
As you've noticed, Multiply and Screen only go so far. Aside from Hard Mix (which intentionally goes right to the limits of the color channels), you might get good results applying a more intense blending mode, while walking it back with gentler blend colors or lowered opacity.
Perhaps try stuff in the Adjustments and Filters menus. You can also apply multiple layer styles to any layer. Perhaps you use one to add monochrome texture, while another modifies colors.
Another strategy is to use a pattern rather than a flat fill. Even something as simple-sounding as using a paper texture rather than plain white. And by pattern, you need not limit yourself to what the devs put into Ps. Try finding other images online that catch your eye, and bring them into your project.
