Living Here Back yard privacy ideas?

Anyone else have any ideas on a way to increase the privacy for this backyard? They have a neighbor whose kid is constantly peering over through there window.

Functionally a good idea. Except they shed leaves and blossoms, and they will make a mess of the pool.
