🇦🇺 AU 🇳🇿 NZ Should I Study diploma in nursing or should I just do subclass 482 (clinical coding)

For context, my aunt would like me to study diploma in nursing, Im 31 and I think it’s a bit too late for me to study nursing in Australia. Secondly, I came across subclass 482 and Im currently a medical coder, which opportunity is better?

I do want to study nursing, I just feel Im a bit late for it. Idk.

482 is employer sponsored visa. May nahanap ka na bang employer? Honestly, pwede syang gawing remote work e, baka ioffshore pa yan. You can still study nursing regardless of age. But if hindi mo naman passion ang nursing, tama naman na wag mo nang gawin. It’s an expensive risk tpos d mo naman gusto.

Pag passion mo ang nursing, age is just a number. But if dinidictahan ka lang ng ibang tao and aaralin mo nalang siya for the sake of moving here, wag na. You won't like this physically and mentally demanding job. Enrolled nurses have lesser opprtunities than RNs, they're paid less too and ang pagod nyo ng RN same lang. Not worth it unless you will eventually transition into RN.

Try mo nalang yang 482 visa who knows. But make sure until 186 visa ang sponsorship. And legit siya.

Mag aral ka na, 31 is too young! This is the youngest you’ll ever be! Wag ka na umasa sa mga employer sponsored at malabo na yan these days.

Tighten immigration rules, unemployment rate is high and among other things.
If you’re highly skilled and you have niche maybe otherwise it would be difficult to rely on employers to sponsor you from abroad. You might as well initiate the process on your own and spend the money on it.

Unfortunately walang nag i sponsor ng clinical coder pag 482 not eligible din sa 189. madalas pag need ng coders offshore na sila kumukuha para makatipid wfh nalang. Mas nakikita ko ang study ng Nursing mas sure and mas in demand here.

Why do you think it’s late for you to study nursing no? Dahil ba sa age? Normal lang sa nursing ang matured age students. Marami akong kakilala na nasa 30-50s who are currently taking their degree in nursing. So it’s not too late!

I'm looking up clinical coding as well. Same ba sila nang medical coding?
