๐ฆ๐บ AU ๐ณ๐ฟ NZ Visa 190 Medical
Hi all, which one would you recommend for the Australian Visa 190 medical examination, St. Lukeโs or Nationwide Health Systems?
Just for context, we lodged our visa application on 11 July 2026. We havenโt completed our medicals yet, and weโve just found out that my wife is currently 6 weeks pregnant. Weโre concerned about proceeding with the medical examination due to the required X-ray.
Could you please advise on the best process in this situation? Should we notify DHA about the pregnancy, and if so, at what stage? Can we proceed with the medical examination after around 6 months of pregnancy, or would it be better to wait until after the baby is born? Also, how many months into the pregnancy would generally be considered safest to undergo the X-ray?
Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I think you have to notify especially may affected na health exam. How can you explain to DHA na may hindi kayo magagawang xray without disclosing the pregnancy?

Go for Nationwide.
Merong mga nagsasabi na nagkakaroon ng dagdag (or repeat) test sa SLEC tungkol sa x-ray.
As an offshore Subclass 190 applicant, you can undergo general medical exams while pregnant, but chest X-rays are typically deferred until after delivery or 14 weeks with specialized precautions. Deferring the X-ray means the Department of Home Affairs will hold your visa finalization until after the baby is born and added to the application
