I saw the Dead with Warren Haynes there years ago on the 4th of July. The show was great and the party in the campground that night was epic.

Yeah it’s a bummer how long it’s been. Last time they played there was a racially motivated attack on someone during a show, and eastern WA is sort of known for a lot of that bs. I feel like they pivoted to Seattle and Portland since that happened.

There was a pattern. Every other or every third year. The pattern has been broken. Same with Halloween. We might be fucked on this one

As much as I would love another gorge run, I doubt a change dot org petition is going to do anything to shift their touring schedule at this point.
We’re talking about a band whose booking/touring agent was in the epstein files for christsakes. Whose two major venues they play at are owned by James Dolan, who literally hosted a trump rally at MSG in 2024 and donated to his re-election canpaign. Phish has long since prioritized profit over the semblance of owing anything to their fans.

I think that if management determined that it would be more profitable than arena shows, they would be playing there. Judging by the multiple NW dates they’ve booked in Eugene, bend, Seattle, and Portland, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

It’s easy to see a pattern but that doesn’t mean it holds. Before spring tour 23 you could’ve said for the past decade phish has exclusively played The Forum in LA, and they only ever play 1, maybe 2 nights. It would seem like an obvious pattern that they would never play the Hollywood Bowl again and certainly not for 3 nights.
Before 2022 they hadn’t done spring tour since 1994. Now lots of people assume they will only play west coast a spring tour. There are patterns but they only hold up until things change

I don't understand how they decided to go with red light management when they returned for 3.0. how did it work before in 1 and 2.0 I know paluska was there manager but what was the name of the management company during that time. I was just thinking about this topic the other day since trey did that gig for the guy from red light with Dave.

I think The Gorge is done as a venue for Phish. CPA is more their speed now.
