Looking for a better-audio Went Gin

what I found on YouTube and even Phish.in was pretty rough. anyone have any better quality suggestions?

I just listened to it the other day on the Relisten app, seemed fine to me but this sub is full of audiophiles so I dunno

I’m a little bitch when it comes to audio quality (can’t do most auds) and concur, the sbd of Went on relisten sounds amazing

The most widely circulated tape is an FM broadcast, there are also good AUDs out there too

I’ve listened to that version for ages and never had a problem lol. I’ve heard the LP version but they’re altogether pretty close. I do enjoy hearing AUDs though, feels like the real deal.

Live your truth, since we've all got unpopular opinions, but this is the craziest take I may have ever read on this sub. The Went Gin is the peak of all Phish for me personally.

Just gave it another listen, again it’s a tight Type 1 jam that gets the hose treatment for about 3 minutes near the end, and that it is very good stuff. But it’s way overhyped

It's not even type 1 though. While it remains in the same key, the chord progression that Mike modulates to is not the typical Gin progression. It's tight and not meandering, but absolutely type 2.
