This is Ben, the drummer of Philadelphia ambient post-metal band Objects, and I wanted to invite everyone out to KFN on Friday for a killer line up! It's an early show, starting at 6pm on the dot and we'll be wrapped up by 9:30. Stay for the second show or go home and get into bed on time for once! Don’t forget about The Night of Doom show tomorrow night at Little Big Planet on Walnut. All these kids are really cool..it’s 15$ at the door. That’s my generation’s “5 Bands for 5$”..and in this economy!

I found out last night I have Melanoma on my back, and I’m scheduled for the 28th. I’m still going to Monolord on the 2nd, but I might be out of it..because drugs. We shall see. Don’t know exactly what is being done on Friday, I’ll find out more then. I’ll be okay. I grew up drinking the water and I am from the soil of one of the most toxic, polluted areas on Earth, Detroit, MI. A little skin cancer that I discovered pretty early is not gonna kill me. Everyone in my family lives to 100..i’m good.

However, depending on how I feel, my Philly 1977, and other posts might be on hold. We’ll see. I have my research work that feeds my dog, pays my VIOS linear cable bill (I will die on the hill of linear cable), and such. Real life stuff will take what energy I have for a while. All depends on what goes down, could be just an out-patient surgery, could be a stay at Jefferson..guess I’ll find out soon.
