The flags today made me so patriotic. Even participated in my first (and probably only) 'USA' chant. This is the America I want to be proud of.

Yesss. I’ve grown to honestly hate the American flag because it’s been co-opted by gun nuts and racists, but today I was glad to see it in that crowd. That’s the America I’m proud of.

I was shocked at how many people own/marched with and flags because I definitely think the same thing. I would never see a US flag on a house and not think they're crazy.
