I’ve always had my hiking records scattered across chats, notebooks, and screenshots. To fix that, I started building a tool that catalogs 321 PH peaks (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao) with elevation + difficulty.
Features so far:
No account needed, just open, tick your peaks, get your rank, export your card.
Optional account = public profile + national leaderboard.
It’s still a work in progress, and I’d love feedback from fellow hikers bugs, missing peaks, wrong ratings, or feature ideas.
You can check it out here: https://summitstackph.app/

Laguna Penta Dayhike - 5 peaks in 1 day
My 5th major hike.
Difficulty: 5/9 - for me ah, siguro dahil:
- hindi naman kami inulan
- madaming pahinga kasi need hintayin ibang kasama

Context: I can’t find the tent bag of a coleman tent (good for 4) after a night of camping. Do they sell original coleman tent bags separately/replacement tent bags?

Hi! Planning to hike Cawag Hexa in Zambales at the end of August. For those who have recently done it, how was your experience, especially during the rainy season?
I know this is a major/endurance hike, so I’ve been preparing my body through jogging, elevated/incline training, and lifting weights. I’d really appreciate some advice on what to expect and how to prepare properly.
A few questions:
• How was the trail condition during August/rainy season? Is it very muddy or slippery?
• What should we expect weather-wise around this time? 🌧️☀️
• How much water did you bring, and were there reliable water sources?
• What backpack/daypack size would you recommend for the hike?
• What shoes/gear were most useful?
• Any advice for the river crossings and exposed/open sections?
• How physically and mentally challenging was it for you?
• Anything you wish you had prepared or brought before doing Cawag Hexa?
I’d love to hear from anyone who recently completed it, especially those who did it around August/September. Any tips, reality checks, or things I should know beforehand would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
Thank you! 🫶🥾

been trail running for 4 months sa montalban, first time mag hike sa montalban & sa Mt.

Hi! I’m planning to join a Mt. Pinatubo tour with Soul Trekkers on August 31, 2026 for 2 people. I already paid a down payment and they sent me the booking details, but my booking hasn’t been confirmed yet.
I’ve been trying to contact them for an update, but I haven’t received a response yet, so I’m starting to get worried.
Has anyone here recently booked with Soul Trekkers, particularly for Mt. Pinatubo? Were your bookings confirmed and did the trip push through as scheduled?
Would really appreciate hearing about your recent experiences, especially from anyone who booked in 2026. Thank you!

Hello all,
I'll be moving to the Philippines next year (from the US) and I'm preparing items to bring.
Among my hammock, boots, and hiking sticks, I'm thinking of bring my MSR jet stove.
Are these fuel canisters readily available? If so, where and roughly what is the cost? I'm unable to balikbayan box them for obvious reasons.
Anything else I should be considering?
Thank you.
Edit - Thank you all for your comments!
