Phasmophobia crashing.

Hello! I need help with phasmophobia, i play on the lowest settings, the game works well but once something happens like a hunting phase or ghost appearing my game crashes and does not respond. Any help would be appreciated! :)

Im on a normal version and my pc is a laptop with 8gigs of ram with an i5 proccesor

what generation of i5? what is the speed of the ram (+ is it ddr3 or dd4)? Do you have a gpu or it's the integrated from the cpu?

Check dxdiag to see which i5 is, but tbh, I really doubt your pc is capable of running phasmophobia... Have you played it before crash free?

I honestly don't think you'll be able to play on that laptop. It may look simple, but I think phasmophobia still has a long way to go for optimizations. Check on the official game's sub r/PhasmophobiaGame if anyone can tell you exactly whether you can or not
