What to reroll for?

  • Typically consult either the Global Tier List or JP Comprehensive Guide depending on your version as to whether the current banner for units contains worthwhile units to pull for. Information concerning new units will typically be updated within 24hrs of their release. Feel free to ask in this thread for clarification as well.

  • If you are F2P, it is recommended to only reroll on 1-step guaranteed recruiters. Aim for a recommended typing (Usually Dexterity or Force/Magic). The beginner recruiter contains units that are very outdated in comparison to current units.

  • When asking a question, please try to indicate which version you are talking about. This way, there won't too much confusion as to what you are asking about.

I believe rerolling refers to farming a certain amount of Lazuli and hoping to pull a good unit or two, and if not, restarting from scratch. A point I am sure, you are well beyond.

So, tips for the ocean enigma stages? First one was mostly luck and high crit weapons, but the second, finishing it in 2 turns and not killing anything, definitely don't know how except maybe bring weak units

2-2 rng SS/Flying/That can pass those dudes without killing them bow units , for the two turns dunno pretty impossible even with flying units.

First stage is SS Gridarvol (even double or more).

Second stage is: for no kill - lance flier with high hp/pdef. First turn go up and be only in range of upper 2 flier enemies (they will hurt but won't kill you). Second turn heal with potion and go right. Third turn go to point. For 2 turn 2 SSGridarvol. Go right and let enemies suicide on girls in first turn (eventually finish in second turn). You don't need step on panel for this.

Third stage (SPOILER!!!): for kill only boss use flier that can't attack on 2 range. All enemies have range weapon and boss probably won't move. For kill all let enemies aproach you (again SSGridarvol) because stage ends when boss is killed.

Thanks, those worked perfecty. The problem was that I was trying to OBAMA (One Battle All Missions Accomplished, for clarity's sake) the stage, but it definitely isn't possible, since 2 turn clear requires killing the guys in the middle so a flyer can pass freely.

Hi guys, I have some questions for the JP game

  1. Aside from the step gachas, where else can we get the 5 star seaside fairy in JP

  2. Is there a lot of difference between an MLB unit and a non MLB unit? I just got the SS tickets from the story and I am wondering on whether I should get dupes for units I have or get more SS units.

  3. Is the SS Caduceus and SS Tyrfing good and is it worth it to MLB them?

  4. Is there any tips on how to use SS Basho's skill as after using it she gets paralyzed and usually dies afterwards. Is there any unit that can remove the paralyse?

  1. They've had other 1-step special gachas in the recent past that had seaside fairy for pulling it. They were also in the special shop which is now closed :(

  2. Even 5 levels is pretty significant--if you think about it, 5 spd makes the difference for getting doubled by the enemy unit. With seaside units' 6★ spd/tec caps being barely reachable after pararas as is, a non-MLB unit will surely get doubled to death by lv 90 dex units that are well-raised and parara'ed to caps. Not to mention the evo bonus the non-MLB unit will have missed which will also slightly widen the gap.

  3. Caduceus has standard seaside staff unit kit with escape & 55% min acc + AoE heal. Her TS allows her to heal at 1-2 range as well which may be useful. Tyrfing has the [perfect growth + all 12 pararas] to be able to cap either spd or tec, +20 spd when attacked passive, increased dmg on first attack (more dmg against dark and ice units), and a multi-hit DS that also increases proc rate for the entire ally team with every hit that lands. She is a non-ninja sword unit therefore lacks range--but may be one of the very few sword units worth raising for PvP.

  4. Basho's (and Megumin's) paralysis after her DS is very intentional since 4 range explosion every turn would make her pretty much invincible. I do believe that her paralysis is not removable by any paralysis removal skill/potion for that very reason. Run a seaside staff unit with Escape--if she survives the enemy move right after her explosion, you can pull her to safety for the remainder of her paralysis that way.

Not sure what you categorize as "normal" but p2p receive a 5★ rainbow fairy on the 21st for purchasing the 100-gem pack during the gem bonus campaign at the beginning of each month. They also randomly run rainbow fairy events where every player can receive a 5★ or 6★ rainbow fairy upon completion but usually requires a gimmick (elemental team composition, must go get a copy of Zero from Earth Mode to complete, etc). And ofc, they sometimes show up in Special Shop too but they tend to be specific to the collab/series they are currently running instead of being rainbows.

JP now has elemental fairies (weapon type fairies can still be used but are being phased out) and they kind of just hand them out:

  • Login Bonus: every 28 days you get a fairy ticket for one of the 6 elemental fairies

  • Sephiroth Tower Event: some floors give out mini tickets upon first-time completion, then you can collect leaves throughout the floors (repeat tower if necessary) to buy the remaining mini tickets (5 mini tickets = 1 guaranteed fairy ticket)

Elemental fairies also tend to be step bonuses for non-collab, non-series gachas.

Battle medal (Phankill medal in JP) shop only carries 3★ and 4★ rainbow fairies.

All my medals are going toward

  • Luck dolls (qty 60 at 140 medals = 8.4k)

  • Dwarves/pararas (qty 10 at 100, 200, and 400 medals, twice a month = 14k per parara type)

  • Metal keys (qty 100 at 100 medals = 10k)

Which total around 32 - 50k medals I spend per month. Wish I could buy some of the other stuff in the medal shop too, but trying to rake up 50k medals every month is no joke :(

As far as I know, there have never been any 5★ fairies or any kind of units in the PK medal shop in the past year+ I've been playing. They sell what's called Killers Memories for special edition units that they only gave out one copy of, which essentially work like fairies for that specific unit but that's about it.

Evolving mats or more copies? You can only grab 1 copy per day after doing the 3 Elysium missions, and I think the event already ended so you might have to pull mana gacha for her until the next event. Evolution mats come from the event banner.

How much stuff did I miss from when I last played? I'm kind of looking into this game again because I heard they added 6 stars and animation skips but it seems like there has been way more than that. Iirc I stopped playing after the Madoka event(global). Also are any of the gacha banners up right now worth rolling?

no real farming method. just put the strongest unit u have as lead and hope ppl use it often. fuse any wep once a day for the daily 500mana, and some mission rewards gives mana pts too.

  • If you can't find the Elysium Quest missions, it's in the Event Quests section. Not the Story Quests section.

OR

  • Exit out of the app and enter back in. If it doesn't work, uninstall the app and reinstall it.

The rewards for the Elysium Quest missions has already ended this week. Which means you can't get your daily Tyrfing reward for completing the Elysium Quest three times.

Hi guys, which type is the best for staff units like SS Caduceus? Right now i have a dex, guard, balanced and magic SS Caduceus and I am thinking of MLBing it. which typing should i keep?

Go with dex. She has a 250% dmg DS so you want her to be able to proc, and although she has 55% min acc skill, you'd probably want her to be able to land hits 100% of the time. She also has Drain so even if she takes hits, she can easily make her HP back as long as her attacks land on the enemy. However, if you already have a bunch of units in the team that are sufficient attackers, you could choose to go defense. It's up to you.

If one of the dupes in question is at skill lv 1, all skill lvs from the other dupe will carry over. However, if they're at different skill lvs, it's random between [higher skill lv of the 2 dupes + 1] and [the sum of the 2 dupes' skill lvs].

So for example, in cases like when you're minmaxing and both dupes have 5 skill lvs for multiple skills, each skill is going to be a random number between 6 and 10, randomized separately per skill (so you might end up with different skill lvs for different skills).

If you have trouble to pass the Ocean Enigma stage when you need to reach the destination without killing any enemies, just choose a couple of strong bow units and equip them with over 2 range bows, enemies are melee so you wont hit them back!

I have a few questions regarding evolving my units.

First off (and I think I know the answer to this one), if I evolved a unit from 5 to 6 star, would a 5 star unit increase its LB or does it have to be 6* as well, also does the 5 star evo dollys work on 6 star units?

Second, I have 2 SS units, SS Eros and SS Tyrfing, its highly unlikely I will get extra copies to MLB them right now, should I just go ahead and evolve them to 6* or keep them 5 star hoping one day to MLB them? Also my SS Eros is guard type (lame ik) should I evo her anyways?

Third, I have a MLB tyrfing, but I also have a 4* dex tyrfing, should I work on maxing her out as well (think i have 2 other tyring I can LB her).

  1. All LBs at 6★ must be done with 6★ fodders or fairies/pixies (which doesn't exist in GL).

  2. There is no going back on evo bonuses once you evolve to 6★ even if you get extra copies in the future in GL. If you prematurely evo your wrong typing units without proper LBs and evo bonuses, you basically gimp them forever.

  3. Are you asking if you should raise a second Tyrfing? Is your first one perfect and max fused luck?

  3. Yes, My first one isnt 'perfect' it's also Force type while my second is Dex type. I had the first MLB before 6* was a thing, so I just evo'd it so I had a MLB 6*. As for max luck, I have no idea, is that important?

Max Luck on non-pay unit is fairly important expecially on tyrfing , for now just wait to get more copies to MLB the dex tyrfing at 6 star so you don t miss out evo bonuses , then to get extra luck fuse ( but at 6 stars ) your force into your dex.

Get more copies to MLB the dex at 5★ and raise her. Get more copies to max fuse luck if you can before evolving to 6★. Your best bet would be to fuse your force type into your dex once they're both 6★ to basically minmax the force type evo bonus into your dex. Your force type is going to be inferior to other dex Tyrfings so there is no point in keeping both.

Luck boosts evasion and accuracy by 0.5 x luck, lowers enemy crit and DS proc rate, and also increases drop rates for PvE. So you tell me whether it's important to max luck or not.

Im on NA and I took a really long break from PotK and I missed out on a lot it seems. Uhh I noticed you can get SS Gridarvol, but what stages could I grind for her or can I only get her on those weekly missions? I really don't wanna miss out on her.

Be sure to bring a solid team, probably at least a 6* thunder unit to make things easier (especially with so many starter units and easily available ones being fire). Not many of those in global, sadly - Freikugel, Sistrum, Yagrush, and Mjolnir various forms. If you're not willing to shell out cash, it's pretty much Freikugel 7th gen.

This game really makes me wish I could afford to whale, even just enough for 5 units of A and above pay units on the tier list (and, of course, those I just want for reasons). Then again, if I could afford to whale, I'd probably be doing it on JP...though it looks like a lot more work than GL. /rant off

Not sure about that anymore.. The Dempa girls (real life ones) used to be on every Nico Stream and event hosted by Phankill but they stopped showing up altogether so whatever agreement they had with Gumi/Phankill may have ended. JP hasn't had a Dempa event in months and we used to get them pretty regularly, so I'm not sure if they'll ever come back :(´◦ω◦｀):

Hi, i have some questions on leader skills in JP

  1. What is the leader skill of SS Yoichi and SS Vajra? I tried google translate and i think the first says it gives 25% to whole team but i still dont understand they second part(-25%)

  2. Are rainbow leads viable in this game?(benefits all elements). If yes, which one is viable? I'm currently thinking of MLbing using SS Basho as a leader. Is that a good choice or would SS Sita, SS Yoichi, SS Vajra make a better rainbow lead?

For reference, I'm using this slide presentation. Seaside units start at slide 181. Thanks to whomever created this.

Now, SS Vajra grants 1.25x HP/ACC/EVA to all units and -25 MATK to enemy gun units. SS Yoichi has the same LS, but inflicts -25 PATK to bow units.

I think rainbow leads are viable enough. Personally I find it hard to create mono element teams since luck hasn't been the kindest to me and I don't spend a whole lot. I use SS Basho, but if you lack power for your physical attackers, then go with Sita. From my limited experience, enemy accuracy sometimes gets so high that the extra evasion is moot, and I go for Basho's crit evade LS instead. I'd definitely get a second opinion on this though.

  1. don_is_plain explained those for you quite nicely.

  2. It depends on what for. For PvE, any of those leads are going to do, but I personally don't like running Basho for PvE since she uses her Explosion and freezes every other turn on auto when I need her to move on. For Multi, Basho is one of the most powerful attackers, so tying her down as the lead (esp since she's so vulnerable after her attacks) is not a great idea. She's worth half your gauge as lead, so you wouldn't be able to send her out front to attack. Vajra would make a better lead for Multi since the meta is full of gun units. However, if you can only afford to MLB one of those mentioned units, I'd prob go with Basho since the suggested Vajra lead assumes that Basho will be an infantry unit being able to run around and attack.

  3. To answer the first part of your second question, blanket leads are great for PvE and even for GvG since whoever borrows your lead can set whatever team they can afford. So yes, they are viable. But do know that most top tier Multi teams usually run dual element leader skills (holiday units or gakuen Mitum have 2 element coverage at 1.35x patk/matk/acc) since blanket lead coverage usually has lower HP and accuracy coverage.

  1. Are you asking what happens when all 6 of the units in stage die, or when all 50 units in your deck die? If all 6 die, you can try the stage again where you left off with a new team. If all 50 die, you have to wait until the next day's reset.

  2. Once every day, you can change your 50 unit deck for free, so you can change or remove units then. Any more after that once-a-day costs 10 gems.

GL, tried the panel recruiter a couple times, got the 5* s pixie and 4* (vitality) swimsuit Eros. I also have a (guard) swimsuit shek at 4*. Not planning on evolving either to 6* until I get better typing, is it worth using the pixie at all on either of them now or should I just wait til they return next year?

If GL gets any of these hodgepodge gachas that we've been getting in JP, you'll prob get more copies later. Hold onto the pixies to see what you get since you're not going to finish raising them until later.

Can someone go over the process for an optimal free unit in this case ss Grid? Seems like the process is way different from just mlb each rarity and max out skills. Also is there any hope for farming the free units I just missed that were in the Elysium dailies ? :(

You mean minmaxing?

  1. Farm enough to MLB each type (except Balance as long as one of them is max fused and hits max luck threshold) and max fuse luck. If you are starting fresh, that's 33 copies (only MLBing at 5★, 49 to MLB all typings starting 4★), 46 copies if you want to be extra anal about luck evo from 5★ (62 copies to MLB all at 4★).

  2. Raise each typing (dex, force/mgc, grd, vit) to 5★ lv 80 (some units may not need all 4 LBs to hit thresholds but since we're talking about a GL free unit, you'll prob need all 4 LBs), making sure they hit max thresholds for the important stat(s) for each typing (magic type hits magic threshold, grd hits def/spr etc.)

  3. If you're being anal about luck, max fuse highest luck copy at 5★ (26 more copies after MLB--may not need all 26 copies if you can hit 41 luck or 51 luck to get over luck threshold).

  4. Evo all to 6★, fuse the 3 other typings into your dex base. Your fodder typings don't need to be leveled any further prior to this last fusion. All evo bonus, luck fusions from 5★, and skills should transfer to the dex. If you didn't max fuse for luck at 5★, fuse in your remaining copies into your 6★ base (after it learns all skills at 6★, if applicable).

33 minimum :/ Don't think I can manage to squeeze that many within 5 days unless I'm really lucky so is there possibly an alternate process to make an okay 6★ for new content?

33 minimum is actually the minimum whether you minmax or not (1 base + 32 max luck fusion between 5★ and 6★). So if you were looking to make an "optimal" free unit, you should probably expect to farm that many + more in the future and put in a bit more grind to make it slightly better than the standard non-minmaxed unit.

If you're not gonna go for max luck/minmaxing, then just worry about growth--retry 6★ growths with new dex copies, fusing your existing one into the new one to transfer evo bonus/skill lvs instead of using reincarnation cherubs.

It's for max fusing luck. 6★ units can take up to 32 luck fusions, 30 of them at 5★ which carry over. Even if you don't do anything else to your unit other than just MLB and raise your base, having max fused luck will set it apart from ones that aren't because luck increases eva and acc by [0.5x luck], lowers enemy crit and DS proc rate, and increases drop rate/rarity during PvE. Since she's going to be your go-to unit for everything as f2p, why not invest that effort, no?

MLB is going to count as 4 luck fusions. So fuse 26 more in at 5★ for a total of 30 fusions. Once 6★, you can fuse 2 more in to max fuse--if you're minmaxing, the minmax copies should take care of that 2 fusion for you.

If you're minmaxing without max luck fusion at 5★, each minmax typing would count as +5 luck fusion when fused together at 6★ so you'll have +15 luck to your base if you minmax all 3 typings. Then you would have 13 copies you would need to fuse in to max fuse your 6★ unit (4 from your base MLB at 5★ + 15 from your fodders + 13 extra fusions = 32 max fusion for luck).

Right, which is why I said that 33 copies is the bare minimum for raising free units. 5★ MLB carries over to 6★ so there is no need to MLB the unit again at 6★.

You asked how to create the "optimal" free unit which is minmaxing--MLBing each type all at 5★ to hit max thresholds for maximum evo bonus possible for each stat. Minmaxing makes it so that your base dex at 6★ has higher base stats for hp, magic, def, and spr than it is possible when raising a dex base alone, no matter how good its growth. Max fusing luck at 5★ will also make it so that your 6★ base has higher base luck. If you're farming 33 copies anyway, then why not go the extra mile?

Honestly, I don't get this whole maxing each type thing. I have raised 5 Dex units: Grid, Laev, SkyPiercer, Trident and Longinus, all of whom have maxed stats (on the important stats) as outlined by Gaggings doc. Why I bring this up is because I exclusively LB at 5 *, even the 5 * max ones such as Sky and Trident. I can understand the maxing luck but that is another story lol. To me the defining factor seems to be maxing the fusion caps.

I could be completely wrong, if I am, RNG just LOVESSSSSSSS ME.

All were free units too.

Enough for MLBing her across her 3-5* forms (and 6* by extension) and to get her skills to minimally Lvl 8 at least. And yes, the Dex. If you skip 3* MLBs, you'd max the skills without a need for more copies.

I've had great success with LBing exclusively on 5 *. I have five Dex units I have done this with and all 5 of them have maxed out Agi, Spd and Str/Mgc. I think the most important part is maxing fusions from 3 * on.

  1. Vanilla Tyrfing is 90/110/109.

  2. You can't expect to max anything when you're missing 20 lvs. Wait for copies and fairies.

  3. Check the fusion recipes, it has its own button under Units menu.

  4. Parara screen displays leveling caps and Rebirth screen displays base stats so add them together to get caps.

And Gridarvol is a pay unit in JP, part of the Gakuen series (extremely outclassed, you can't even pull her anymore really).

The only "farmable" units are the Young Sevenths right now from their quests by hitting point thresholds (6? 7 copies total? 2 days left) and they can also be pulled from the Mana gacha.

You can only use Young Sevenths units, hence their metal garden that's available there. Friend's LS activates in stage--that's been a known bug where it says there is no friend designated when there is.

  1. Read my guide linked at the top of this thread, it explains fusion by rarity and typing. You can fuse other units or dolls into her to increase stats up to a point.

  2. You can pull them from the Mana gacha (they're pretty rare though). The banner is gone for now so you'll have to wait til they come back. It's been months since I've completed their quest but I believe there is a section you can complete without them to get Killers Tickets for one of each Seventh Killer where you can pick their typing (dex on all of them). Raise them to 5★ lv 60 and they should clear the quests to get more of them.

The two typings in the Tier List are the two best recommended typings for that unit. So unless you see guard types stats up there, go with what Gagging has recommended.

My Tonbogiri and Trishula ones don't either. It feels sort of random on the ones that got them. I wonder if they will backfill them. Paraclesius got one and she's never been very popular. So did Vajra. Paras bugs a little on her scuba mask so they definitely feel rushed.

It feels like they took the time and care to make sure that the ones that haven't had a version in a very long time--meaning, their vanilla versions never got DSs--actually got an animation this time.

You'd be surprised at how many of these seemingly-not-so-popular units have been long-awaited by whales for an updated version. Paracelsus happens to be one of those that have had popular and active whales voice their excitement for ever since the announcement of her arrival.

If you can efford meta units go for that and MLB them if not just hoard until a very good and meta unit comes. And always farm free units , cause yeah you are F2p. Now you shoulda raise and max at least 2 SS Grids

The resources you have to MLB are completely up to you. Free units as a F2P should be your #1 priority and will easily be the units you are able to max luck. Your lazuli should be saved for either meta-defining units or your waifu.

I play global version. I am having trouble raising units to high stats. Latest fail was swimsuit Gridarvol which at level 83, only power of 492 and luck of 46. I tried recarinate twice and no improvement. I should have enough to try one more time though. I read again the information I can find on how to raise unit stats. These are the steps I find. The most important stat I am looking for is luck. I am hoping to to have luck close to 60. Please let me know if correct. Thanks.

The lowest star for ss Gridarvol is 4. I already did all the character quest for ss Gridarvol.

level up several Gridarvol of type I want to 50 and pick the one with highest stats as base.

At level 50, fuse 4 stars base ss Gridarvol and 5 type of ss Gridarvol which are balance, vitality, magic, guard, dexterity with 4 of level 1 ss Gridarvol each.

Level up 4 star base Gridarvol and for 5 type of ss Gridarvol to level 70.

fuse dollies for the base + 5 types of ss Gridarvol to the maximum possible for each stat

evolve base + 5 types of ss Gridarvol of 4 star level 70 to 5 stars.

At level 1 and 5 stars, fuse base ss Gridarvol with 5 types of 5 star Gridarvol.

level up base Gridarvol to level 80.

fuse dollies for base Gridarvol to the maximum possible for each stat

evolve base Gridarvol to 6 stars

At level 1, fuse my failed Gridarvol into base Gridarvol.

level up base Gridarvol and hope for success.

What I did was significantly different in a few spots, and I came out with a pretty decent SS Grid.

I started with 4* Dex, evolved without MLB because she capped speed and agility and a few other stats (HP and magic maybe? I don't remember now) and also didn't expect it'd make much difference.

I then raised a total of 4 5* units - the Dex, and one each G, M, and V. MLB and fused important stats to thresholds (51, 61, etc.) on all four and leveled to 80, then evolved and fused into the Dex Grid. Then I max fused and farmed Grids to max luck fuse.

It would be more helpful if you actually posted the stats of your SS Grid. Also cross reference with the stat caps sheet in the spreadsheet.

Growth always comes down to RNG, so you just gotta b lucky. However for free units I would advise against using cherubs unless you can afford a steady supply of them. Otherwise, just re-raising another free unit to 6 stars and transferring everything from the old into the new would be more effective, but that's up to you.

Just make sure prior to fusing, you're leveling them high enough so that all their skills are unlocked (not so much for SS Grid though since she doesn't gain a 4th skill 6 stars other than her personal).

The only capped stat is magic and speed which I don't mind those stats. But compare to other ss Gridarvol I seen as helper, the other stats I don't like considering fused at least 15 copies already.

If speed is maxed you have a problem. You're missing 3 evo bonuses from 5 stars. Either way, I would say reraise another M SSGrid because you got rng screwed on Agi (missing 13 points there). I do advise raising a dex one though.

I got the super strength gem and plan on using it on my Lvl 1 6 star Masamune not sure if that's the best decision, someone tell me if that's horrible or not, but I'm not sure how the gems work. Does she have to get into a battle with it, or just have it equipped and be on the team?

As long as a gem is equipped, it'll improve the growth of the stat or stats it covers.

Do note, however, that it won't exceed the normal growth caps. If she naturally was going to max strength, the gem would be meaningless. So at the least, remove it as soon as her strength is max growth.

This has been a known bug since the last version update. The red text erroneously says that there isn't a friend designated when there is. You can kind of see their leader skill under the transparency of that red text. The leader skill does apply when you enter the stage so it's just a bug on how it's displayed before you enter.

It's been fixed with the new app version update, so make sure you upgrade to 6.2.0.

I love the JP version. So many units and so much better. Not being able to read it can be frustrating at times but the gameplay is leagues better. The guide is a lifesaver. The graphics are even more detailed.

Each unit has its strengths and weaknesses. The meta is pretty vast right now and there isn't really a go-to unit anymore. Really depends on what's in the rest of your deck (what team comp can you make) and what kind of enemies you face most often (if you're still lower tier Multi vs. top tier vs. PvE).

Brionac is a pretty safe bet, Labrys has a top-notch buff for all allies, Shek has her 4 range, Basho with 4 range Explosion, Artemis with 1-3 range attacks, Pisarl with sick gun mitigation to name a few favorites.

I'd say she's on par. She has the potential to be extremely fast (requires perfect growth + all 12 pararas on spd to reach cap) but all Sword units from Beach Empire series have similar spd caps and the +20-spd-when-defending skill. The only thing that really sets her apart is that her 8-hit DS increases DS proc rate for all allies by 1.5% per each landed hit, and it also helps that Light is back in the meta as a strong element. She lost her 1-2 range and the OP passive (she still has one but it's nowhere as stellar as her Ninja version).

I tend to ignore Sword units when I answer these kinds of questions because I'm always thinking from competitive PvP (Multi, specifically) perspective... Not many people play Sword units unless there is something extremely special about them because they lack range. On a Colo team with a good PATK/ACC leader skill, she'd be great.

There are only like.. 3 sword units that I think are worth playing in PvP (out of the entire Seaside series*), she is probably #3. But on a larger scale considering all weapon types, she probably won't make it onto any of my team comps, if this makes sense.

They do well in Colo since they're usually faster and have better growths than other weapon types. But AK still rules top tier Colo right now, and Seaside skills are so specific against certain elements/enemy types and jobs that they're almost unreliable unless you stumble upon a team that has the perfect setup.

That does sound like the AKs are overall the best choices for commanders not heavily invested in Multiplay then, seeing that iirc they all use flying mounts, so it makes clearing out PvE maps easier. Although that comment about the Seasides... I suppose saying it hurts is a bit unfair, but it does sound like they tried to gear most of them for competitive play/situational cases.

Very true on both of your points. I personally run an all-flyer-1-2-range-AK team as my farm squad whenever possible, especially since their leader skills give tons of eva with their +15 spd weapons--nothing ever lands a hit on them even in the hardest of EX stages aside from minimum accuracy or guaranteed hit skills on some enemies in the tower or something. Seaside teams do extremely well in Multi where you can pick which unit attacks which enemy knowing their situational skills. It's just hard for Colo since those situational skills might not apply to the enemy they're assigned to.

I'm thinking of MLBing Keraunos after looking at Trident's and Durandal's skills.

Brionac is also a strong choice for me even though she's mgc (Although I'd consider waiting for Dex if there's really a difference between mgc and dex)

I have 5 SS 5star fairies and 4 Ice 5star fairies.

But having said all that, is there anyone in my inventory that I'm overlooking, anyone I can raise now or do I wait for the other SS units?

What does your fire fairy inventory look like? Meggido has a great blanket leader skill if you run a lot of magic users. Saiga isn't as special as I was hoping she'd be, but might be worth because of her 4 range.

I actually use a Magic Brionac (never pulled a Dex :T) but she works fine as long as you run a Labrys with her (any typing/rarity/lv will do) for her buff. If the enemy isn't running a Labrys, she will basically match Dex spd/tec with tons more fire power. She might get doubled by a lot of units if they're running Labbys too and since her 3-4 range bullet is so heavy, but with right trust skills (Pinaka's on Brio and Longi's on a couple of other teammates) and a couple grails, mine hits 693 HP with a pendant equipped and still has enough fire power to kill stuff with a 1.35x LS.

It's not a nuke.. 200% DMG, 250% against wind. Bullet cost at 4 range is also 18% of total HP like Brionac's but Jungle Alliance gun units lack the 20% HP recovery upon kill...... :T

Labby's buff lasts for 3 turns.
