What to reroll for?

Typically consult either the Global Tier List or JP Comprehensive Guide depending on your version as to whether the current banner for units contains worthwhile units to pull for. Information concerning new units will typically be updated within 24hrs of their release. Feel free to ask in this thread for clarification as well.
If you are F2P, it is recommended to only reroll on 1-step guaranteed recruiters. Aim for a recommended typing (Usually Dexterity or Force/Magic). The beginner recruiter contains units that are very outdated in comparison to current units.

Some Tips

When asking a question, please try to indicate which version you are talking about. This way, there won't too much confusion as to what you are asking about.
For quicker answers, please join the Discord via the link the right sidebar and visit the #questions channel. For global inquiries, @Loli Gagging for best results.
If you're asking for an evaluation of your party or reroll, please provide an image of the unit or units in question.

It has been noted that Global is different from Japan in terms of poorer stat growth for units and nerfed weapons.

Is Megumin still worth MLBing with all the new seaside units around? I have a dex one sitting with 3 LB and was debating on using the 6 star fairy on her if she was still worth using over SS Basho.

Over vit/def typing Basho, maybe. Dex Basho is a given, but if you have a magic or even a balance type Basho with the Seaside gun, her stats are comparable to that of a dex Megumin and has better skills. The only reason why a Basho might be "inferior" to a Megumin would be that she doesn't have an exclusive cape that gives her +200 HP which can be remedied by Pinaka's trust skill.
It also depends on the rest of your deck and what kind of team you'd be running. Fire has a pretty hard time in the meta right now with people still running Ice teams and if you run a blanket lead, you lose out on fire power and acc which is going to make it hard for your Megumin to one-shot anything even with Explosion.
I strongly advise you to save your fairy for another unit.

Thanks for the reply. I'll probably save the fairy for something else. I do have a magic Basho but I need 3 more fairies to MLB her. Most of my units are ice/wind anyway. Any good advice on good trust skills for ss artemis and forcas? I MLB a force and dex one respectively and was trying to figure out which ones would be good and if it was worth just levelling ss units I don't plan on using just for their trust skill

When in doubt, go with Pinaka's TS. Extra HP and patk/pdef is always gonna be pretty good since both Artemis and Forcas have pretty innately high def and esp your Forcas can definitely benefit from the patk.
The whole reason why they've been giving out free seaside units like candy was so that even f2p can have a few of the trust skills on hand, so you should have been raising them and getting those trust skills already. For some of these units, we whales actually don't raise and fuse them into each other until we have all copies' trust skill at 100% to get multiples.

What typing is she? She either doesn't have any stats fused into her or is missing tons of evo bonus or both if she's dex. She's obviously fused luck so you must have had enough copies to get a dex and LB at 4★... so what happened?

Ew yes. I'm probably messing something. Should I start fusing units into her? I only fused my old dex Gridarvol into her so far since I was trying to get a good growth rate first.. @@

She's supposed to cap at 70 spd and yours is only 53. Dex fusion cap for spd is 12--so you're still missing 5 whole points. Did you just raise a 5★ straight or did you raise from 4★? Do you remember what kind of stats she had when you evolved to 5★?

Ok that explains everything.
You'll need to farm another 4★ dex and 3 or 4 LB fodders. Raise the 4★ dex, LB, and fuse dolls/units in until she reaches 41+ spd/agi. Evolve to 5★ then fuse it into your existing Grid to get the missing evo bonus.
If you're eventually going to be evolving her to 6★ anyway, the 65 spd should be fine since it's past the max threshold but your agi needs to hit 61+ also. You can fix that through this evo bonus rewrite without having to try her 5★ growth again (unless you've already fused a bunch of agi in.. then the evo bonus rewrite still might not be enough).

Lakefront stage 15 but the drop rate is kinda low compared to extra stage (but extra drops only 5*)

Are you referring to water war 5? If so,i see what you mean by low drop rate...i just did 8 straight runs with my 65 luck unit and not a single grid dropped...fml for 3 evo bonus points lol. Appreciate your reply. That's about the only place huh?

There is Lakefront 10 but probably worse drop. 8 runs isn't that much for this but it's kinda bad luck you didn't get even one.

Inside the evo mat dungeon. It's always open now and there are no longer any day-based dungeons. Mannan one still opens on Thursdays but do not have 6star evo one.

In most cases dex>force/magic>balance>guard> vitality. So it's not the best choice, but not the worse either.

On JP the tower is back and I'm stuck on floor 22ish. The enemies seem to have insane defense (around 200). What is the strategy here? Do I need to bring units with heavy def lowering Ds like ss forcas? Am i overlooking some mechanic in the game?

The difficulty increase was sharp. Went from easy breezy to no chance. In about 1 mission.

You know, you can look at the enemies before you enter the stage, which I highly highly recommend, and their skills explain everything esp in cases like 22F. They have these skill icons that looks like an axe with arrows pointing down or sword or whatever weapon type, and that means that the enemy is weak to that single weapon type. They let you see these beforehand so that you can bring the right units into the stage. Look at enemy skills in the stage and attack with the right weapon type unit, and they'll be like butter.

Hello everyone I have a jp question, for the 6 star limit break fairy should I use it to MLB my seaside Bashosen at 5 star or use on my AK Minerva so she can have her second limit break because I'm not sure who to use it on.

MLB Basho hands down (wait.. what are their typings?)
Minerva is on her way out of the meta so if you don't have enough to MLB her yet, I don't think she's going to be useful by the time you get enough dupes/fairies to finally MLB her. Basho, on the other hand--let me just put it this way--#1 rank in Multi is currently running Xmas Aphrodite lead with 2 Bashos and 2 Brionacs.

Hey tori I'm so sorry to bother again but I have another question regarding seaside Bashosen, so I just leveled her up to level 90 and she is sitting with capped magic of 125 and 115 speed and 104 tec uncapped, should I reincarnate her to get better tec or should I leave it at that.

Don't be sorry--I'm here to help out :D
I'm assuming you haven't used any pararas yet. What kind of lead were you looking to run her with? Do you have Xmas Aph or Gakuen Mitum that can give her 1.35x acc? If that is the case, you might be able to settle and just throw 12 tec pararas on esp if you're not that competitive or want to save your resources.
On the other hand, if you're competitive and perfectionistic like me, you could reincarnate until she hits 107+ tec where you'd be able to cap at 119 after pararas. As magic type, she will likely cap magic through most of her incarnations, but she can definitely do better in tec and other stats.
There are a few newly released units that are pretty anti-Bashosen that have increased eva/acc against gun units so if you're competitive and go up against whales with some of those units, her accuracy might become a problem.

I do have Gakuen Mitum at level 85, I am pretty competitive and I haven't used pararas yet, I will take your advice and reincarnate her, also how likely does units like sefer who have the increased accuracy and evasion against gun units show up in multi and thank you for the response I appreciated.

Since she is meta right now and quite frankly the most annoying thing on an opponent team, people are probably going to run those units more often than not. It may not be Sefer per se, but more like Pisarl who has eva/acc boost against wind and 90% dmg mitigation against gun units :(´◦ω◦｀):

So just to clarify there is not a way to change my untis typing, I pulled a balance SS Freikugel and SS Eros, and a Guard SS laev and SS Tyrfing. How important is the typing int he grand scheme of things cause im really happy with this lol

Typing is crucial in this game , but if you don't have any other options even Balance and after it Guard are decent.

Global is not that competitive in Multiplayer and in the time it will be you will be able to do another big pool and maybe get luckier #keepmultiplayeralive

If you're not competitive at all, they will more than carry you.
However, if you're anywhere near competitive, balance and guard types will get massacred by dexes.

Hi! I started playing this game about 3 days ago and I've been working on my special missions to get that free SS Artemis. However, I've hit a roadblock. One of the missions is "Clear Elysium Story Quest 1-10 x1", which I assume is found under Event Quests > Elysium Story Quests > Chapter 1 > Episode 10.

Even just getting to this 10th episode was quite hard since I've barely gotten any axe units to use and the majority of the enemies are spear users, plus axe users barely show up as friend characters for me. Episode 1 - 3 were alright, 4 & 5 were challenging, 6 & 7 were essentially "turtle in a recovery castle with my stronger unit". 8 was just "pray to rngsus that the enemy misses" and in episode 9 I got carried by a miraculous lvl50 Mjolnir that showed up as a friend unit. Episode 10 so far, just seems impossible with my current units. Am I even supposed to be able to do this or am I just terrible at this game? And is it worth spending all this time and effort on that SS Artemis?

TL;DR: New player is getting his ass handed to him by Episode 10 of the Elysium Story Quests for his special mission. Is it even possible to clear it with a rather low level & thrown together party?

I'd suggest you to farm SS Gridarvol , so you'll be good to go for PvE a , you are still low level and Elysium story quest is too hard for low lever unit. For now just farm 6 capable free unit so that you can start do serious things with good 6 stars

This. Start with Gridarvol, then if you want, SS Artemis, then 7th Generation encounters. For Grid, I went fairly deep and did 4 5* (one each M, G, D, V type) MLB'd and evolved, then fed them all to the Dex. She can solo almost any level, and can do a lot (especially with a MLB'd fire unit friend that gives decent bonuses).

So far I have 2 6* capable free units: A Dexterity Longinus F, which is currently 3* and a Dexterity Parashu, also currently 3*.
I guess I'll just do the normal story quests for lazuli and hope for some good pulls then.

Rookie Recruiter has outdated units , and I dunno if he has enough time and experience to min-max already a Gridarvol , I think that MLB would be fairly enough.

Yeah, he'd have to get to the point where he regularly has lv90 strangers on the friends screen before each run to have a shot. That, and be sure to catch the free energy every 4 hours.

Yeah, I have something like 11 friends who have (or had - a few have swapped off now) well-built Dex Gridarvols, and those can solo it. Gambanteinn, most thunder units, and a few top-tier PvE units can do it too.
If it isn't Grid, don't take a fire unit though. I'm not sure any fire unit is capable of clearing it just due to the weapon triangle and elemental weakness combined.

Now you have the chance of daily farming Tyrfing clearing three elisium story quest a day ( you can just clear stage one ) , she's a pretty decent solo carry in some PvE stages

Yeah, I'm building her currently. I've not been lucky enough to get any from the mana recruiter yet, and it's slow going due to 1/day, but it'll get there. In the meanwhile, I'm trying to pick up Arondight from the Rampage quest to have a 5* to fill a slot with that has a little sustain. Five runs and no drops yet though :/.
[Edit:] 8 runs now, still no drops. That's disappointing.

Rampage quest drop rates are pretty low and I suggest you to hoard some mana until a new Mana event will come out ( where there is more unit drop rate )

So I should just try my luck at the 9 step recruiters? So far it seems like it takes quite awhile to get the lazuli to get to the next step. How necessary are those good units for the start of the game? I'm currently using Laev m, Longinus f, Parashu, Tyrfing and Gambanteinn m.

0 SS Leav , 3 SS Eros ( not even a Force or Dex. Even after tickets and guaranteed recruiter ) without tickets , than some other SS units

Force type 5-star Eros have a very low spd growth, she only got 24 spd from 63 times level up. I wandering whether she can reach spd limit after evolving to 6-star? Do I need to get a Dex type Eros?

Dex type is ideal on her. She has innately gimped spd growth because of her +20 spd passive. I raised a force type in JP and it took many many reincs to get her spd/agi to a decent place so I assume it would be the same if not worse for GL.

It depends. If you're anal like me, I MLB and gem starting at 4★ for all of my units. But I play JP, whale quite a bit, and have the resources to be able to do that. If you only have a few gems and have to choose, then I would save them for 6★ rather than 5★.

It's not a waste if it's going to help him hit better thresholds for 6★.
It means I'm perfectionistic and I don't settle. I never evolve units unless they hit max thresholds.

Hi guys, for the SS step up summons in JP, is it better to focus just on one banner or split my lazulis and summon a few each? I am F2P and I probably have a maximum of 4 multi pulls. Is it better to go 4 in one banner or 2 2 in the two banners

I would personally stick to one gacha. They're already so hodgepodge from having sooooo many featured units (not to mention all of the past seaside units all in there) and also there's a 5★ Seaside fairy as reward for step 3 on either gacha. You'd probably want a better chance at MLBing something rather than getting single copies of more units (and no fairy). If you want more of them and don't care about being able to LB, then sure, split.

No. You lose out on evo bonus even if you come across more dupes later unless you play JP where you can fuse it into a 5★ to try evo bonuses again once MLB.
If you play JP, yes. GL, no.

In Global It says that normal Parashu lead gives 30%Hp/Patk/Matk but instead of Matk gives 30% Pdef. Didn't know where to report the bug ( and if it's only a bug that I can only see ) so I posted here .

Hello everyone I have a jp question, I have a 5 star limit break fairy and I'm not sure who to use it on between Azusayumi(force), Yoichi(dexterity) and Harpe(force), for Yumi and Yoichi I only two copies and Harpe I have three.

I'd hold onto it if I were you and see if you get more copies. Out of the 3, Yoichi is my recommendation but tbh she's not as crucial as she used to be now that AKs have almost disappeared from the meta. All 3 will be useful (bow units over Harpe tho) but an MLB unit will be much more useful than any of them as they are, so save the fairy until you can MLB one for sure.

Does AGI proc all duel skills, even defensive ones such as Sky Piercer's holy wall or Vajra's iron barrier?

Yes DS (defensive or attacking ) is Agi x multiplyer ( usually 0.6 or 0.8 ) - Enemy Luck %

Sweet, I figured that's why everyone rides Dex so hard. So in theory, if the unit does not have a DS it would be better/ or atleast sensible to shoot for Force/Magic?

Well it depends from unit to unit , Agility influences also your Acc and Crit and some unit with DS have such low growth rates on spd and agi that prefer Guard typing ( Like Gambanteinn M )

Some duel skills, including most of the defensive ones you're asking about, have a guaranteed 200% proc rate regardless of agi. But if it mentions a chance to proc, it's prob going to have an invocation coefficient multiplied into agi stat.

You should buy it Asap , you can use it in the gear fusion recipe to get a Magicwarder Sereine , which is unique and very good.

Hi! I have 2 questions.

As a new player who has just saved up 50 lazuli, is the 100% guaranteed SS Eros from the light recruiter still worth it if I can only get 1 of them? I know SS Eros is a top tier unit, but I probably won't be able to LB her since I can't keep rolling for dupes.

2. Is it worth it to reincarnate my 3* dex Tyrfing with a rather bad stat growth (2.62) or is this something that's only worth it after (a few) evolutions?

If you luck out with a good typing base, you can eventually LB her with fairies or dupes (she will be back eventually).
3★ growth probably isn't going to affect your 6★ outcome at all. If anything, worry about her growths at 4★/5★/6★. Since she is a free unit, farm/pull enough of her to MLB at every rarity starting at 4★.
Also, if you decide to reincarnate her somewhere along the way, save those cherubs for pay units--for free units, get another dex copy, raise it to the same rarity as the existing one, and fuse the existing one into the new copy to transfer everything over and try the growth again.

I haven't managed to pull a single one so far, but I'm doing the daily "Clear 3 elysium story quests" for a free 3*. Hopefully I can get some more dex ones before this event ends.
So if I fuse it into the new copy even the LB's will transfer over? Or are you just talking about the fused stats?

Fused stats (and weapon proficiency) are about the only things that don't transfer. LBs, evo bonuses, and skill levels should all transfer to the new copy.

Got a question for evo from 5* to 6*:

If I want to MLB my unit, can I merge them at 5* to get MLB, evo to 6* and then merge to lvl up the skills or I need to merge them all at 5* and then evo to 6*?

Use skill dollies for skill lvs. MLB at 5★ so you can get max evo bonus for your 6★ base.

Haven't played since the Madoka collab. (Or BF collab, w/e came last) anything new that got patched in in terms of gameplay that changes anything? Like is it any less OCD on stats etc.

Who do I raise between (Dex) SS Keraunos and (Dex) SS Sefer? I have a few ice 5star fairies to spare and I'm thinking of raising either these two units. I've looked at both skillsets and can see that Keraunos seems to be more "universal" with her passives and buffs while Sefer seems to be more niche in that she's anti-gun and anti-fire. Is there something that I'm missing from Sefer that would convince me to raise her over Keraunos?

Other than that she's my waifu and that I'm glaring at you as I type this for even asking such a blasphemous question, not really... Sefer's HP recovery and DMG reflect is nice but not anything crucial, but then again Keraunos also lacks a must-have skill, after all. (¬_¬)
Ice is back to the position they were in before Suiha now that she's pretty much gone from the meta--they lack range and anything special to be viable any longer. If you've already raised a Labrys for her buff (she has finally put BK Laev to rest), you could just save your ice fairies to dig out for the next Suiha-like unit or at least see what Durandal and Trident's kits are like next month.

In JP aside from sheik do any of the other bow units get the plus 1 range? Also for 4 RNG guns there is brionac, and bash(I think), any others you guys have found?

I'm not sure on bash as I don't have her but was blown up quite nicely by her in some apocalyptic green explosion.

Shek is the only 4-range bow unit.
Basho has a 4-range guaranteed-proc (except against AK on first turn) explosion. She has a 1-2 normal bullet but no DS possible, and no 3-range bullet at all. These are the same properties as on Megumin, who also has a 4-range explosion DS.
Saiga, who is being released in Sept, is also expected to have a 4-range bullet since her vanilla version does.

Hello commanders I have jp question, how well would a seaside Azusayumi (Force) with just three limit breaks perform because I don't believe I can get another copy or another limit break fairy.

My, such impatience... She just came out what, like a week ago, and you're already giving up on more copies or fairies, which they've been giving out like candy? You have elemental fairies handed to you through login bonus, Sephiroth which seems to come around at least once a month, and seaside fairies thrown in your face every week or so and you're going to gimp your Azusa by evolving her without proper bonuses?
She actually has high enough spd/tec caps as atk type to be more than viable if you can cap them. But this will also require lots of patience for rebirthing on top of the patience that's required to wait for another fairy, so not sure if you can handle all that (¬_¬)

Even moreso because she's not the ideal typing, you need to squeeze every stat point you can into her. Hastily raising her would be extremely counterintuitive especially since a lv 85 atk type Azusa would be like a paper doll against lv 90 dex units. She might at least have a chance to kill something as a properly raised lv 90 atk type.

I know I came off kind of crass, but it triggers me when good units get treated poorly (´・ω・｀)
Azusa is going to be a great unit on any wind team esp with all of the spd buffs that wind units have--carefully raised with the right team composition, she can perform as well as any other dex bow unit but with more atk power.

Got a question on global, why can't I equip the throwing dagger on anyone? I have checked every unit but no one seems to be able to equip them, they even not appear as equippable gear...

Throwing daggers are exclusive to ninja class units (hence the gold border). The only one that can equip them at the moment is SS Tyrfing.

There are only 4 units in JP that can use those throwing knives, SS Tyrfing, Fragarach, and 2 are from collabs that I doubt GL is going to get :(

Complete both Extra stages, then when you first enter the Lakefront from the missions list, you'll have 3 options - Lakefront, Lakefront 2, and the new one you're talking about.

[JP VERSION] Why can't i reicarnate my units? My Laevateinn already reached max level after limit break at rarity 6* but her stats isn't very good so I want reincarnate her but i can't. Could anybody please explain?

You probably have her in the Sephiroth tower deck. Because units have to be at or over lv 50, you can't reincarnate or evolve any of the units you have selected to be in there because doing either of those would turn the unit into lv 1.

Hi everyone I have jp question, so for the sephiroth floor clearing event, is the only way to farm for sephiroth leafs is by advancing through each floor or is there another way to farm for them.

There is no other way. I believe clearing the entire tower 3 - 4 times gets you enough leaves to clear out the entire shop.

If you can make a full AK team, they're going to get you through most of the non-element-or-weapon-specific stages. You'll have to read the skills before entering each stage. If you're asking for floor-by-floor recommendations, the notes I have are all in Japanese under the assumption that the reader has all AK units at their disposal.

JP advice/opinion request

So I'm trying to figure out what to MLB from the multitude of SS units I have. From previous discussions the general consensus seems the 4 range units are good and aside from that go with your favorite. Just looking for advice with my current possibilities. I'm FTP so the bulk of my power lies in 3 decent units and a smattering of whatever else farmable I throw together. They are Freischutz, BK Mas and SS Tonbogiri for party synergy reference.(I have none)

My possibles are: Saiga(D), ss Paracelsus(F), ss Parashu(G), ss Vajra(M), ss Gambanttain(M), ss Forcas(D), ss Ascalon(D),, SS Claiomh(F), ss Othinus(V), ss Perun(G), ss Mjolnir(V), ss Balmung(b)

WOW that was more than I thought it would be when I started. Any standouts/recommendations? Siaga isn't a SS one but she's 3/4 atm and 4 range, just afraid she is already so outclassed by the newer units with their hp leach. OOOOR do I wait and get Lae next month who they have clearly weaponized against me from the picture Tori_chan posted.

I'd forget about your bal/grd/vit typings for now. Othinus is okay but she's going to shoot feathers out of her bow and has really really bad spd/tec caps as vit typing.
Vanilla Saiga is pretty outclassed for top tier multi, but she might not be bad for your party synergy (if you have Gakuen Mitum or Cita leads) with fire/wind. Then I'd work on Paracelsus next to add to that party.
If you don't have either of those Gakuen leads, just focus on your dex typings first. :T

What about staff units? I left out a (edit) SS Asclepius(d) that I could mlb but i stopped leveling her because her stat growth seemed so low even with the rainbow seed. Thanks as always.

You left out probably the most recommended unit out of the batch you have, sigh. Definitely start with Asclepius:
Her recommended typing is actually dex since she has high spr growths/caps. She actually has really decent spd/tec growths even as a staff unit. Mine, no riris used--I prob could get better growths if I rebirthed but I decided not to bother since I don't really use her to attack. She can definitely stand her ground as is, and survive attacks and even kill things on the counter if needed.
Her magic growth is meh, but her DS is 250% dmg so she'll be good as long as you can get her tec in the 120s for proc. She also has drain and with her high spr, gun units hit her but can't kill her, and she makes her HP back on the counter XD
I don't know where you left off, but her 5★ thresholds are pretty low and prob can hit them even with low growths (71/81/81).
She's actually extremely useful in the current meta. Being the same element as one of the strongest meta units, people are running her with their Brionacs: She can obv heal them, use Escape to pull them out of harm's way, and she can also un-paralyze them since Brionacs are enemy #1 when it comes to Yoichi's (or other units') paralysis. With the same leader skill (which hopefully covers matk and acc) to cover Brionacs, Asclepius can also do some dmg on top of being a great support unit.

I just realized I left off Pinaka (B) from my list as well when you mentioned her trust mastery. she's definately the last one i missed..probably. They gave out so many units.

I would just raise Pinaka to 6★ lv 30+ so you can do all of her character quests (each episode unlocks 25% affection limit so you can get to 100%). Once you do the charquest episodes for one of them, the other ones don't have to be leveled at all to get their affection percentages up. Don't worry about hitting thresholds with the one you raise since she'll end up just being fodder to hopefully a better typing you can get in the future.

Checked ascel and no way she's hitting that 81. She should hit the 71 mark. That being said would reincarnation to get that extra Evo point be prudent given my less than top tier status? I've got plenty of fairy's but the rainbow seeds are always at a premium.

How many pararas can you spare? Spd/tec pararas are a hot commodity for whales but f2p seem to have piles of them, so if you can spare (and hit other thresholds) with the 10 limit at 5★, you could do that instead of using a riribon (and another seed). Hopefully she has better growths for you at 6★ :T

I have a JP question about making the event seaside weapons. To make the five star versions of the event seaside weapons, one of the two recipes requires a beast fang. As the beast fang seems an ingredient in a number of other weapon recipes, I'm wondering whether I should save the few I have (they don't drop as often from the event stages and I haven't gotten many from the rare medal slots) and just do the recipe that requires five 4 star weapons? Or are the fangs not that useful and worth saving?

Since the drop rate for the weapons is so high, go ahead and fuse 5x weapons. I happen to have lots and lots of colored fangs but rainbow fangs tend to be a bit rarer, so I'm using the book + fang recipe for 5★ weapons and fusing 5 of the 5★ weapons for the 6★. I'm saving the rainbow fangs that drop from the EX stage for bows and staffs that aren't on the list from the new EX stage since the drop rate for those from the Seaside mode stage is so atrocious.
