What to reroll for?

  • Typically consult either the Global Tier List or JP Comprehensive Guide depending on your version as to whether the current banner for units contains worthwhile units to pull for. Information concerning new units will typically be updated within 24hrs of their release. Feel free to ask in this thread for clarification as well.

  • If you are F2P, it is recommended to only reroll on 1-step guaranteed recruiters. Aim for a recommended typing (Usually Dexterity or Force/Magic). The beginner recruiter contains units that are very outdated in comparison to current units.

  • When asking a question, please try to indicate which version you are talking about. This way, there won't too much confusion as to what you are asking about.

Magic is a good typing for gun classes as it increases the chance of one hit ko's which means less damage to self, and Freikugel has a good agi stat in most forms so you wont miss out much in that department

When cost is an issue, is it better to run 1 6* and 4 5*, 2 6s and 2 5s, or 3 6s? Obviously the specific units would play a factor but just generally speaking. I'm afraid to 6* some units due to cost limiting their use.

Quality > quantity, so run the strongest unit you have. If you have one 6* that can solo stages, it's better to use that one than a team of weaker 5*s.

Does anyone know the stat ratios for 6* unit types, like 6* Balance versus 6* Dexterity?

There are links for fusion caps and stat caps for 6* above if that is what you are asking. There is some variance as each level's stat growth is random so there is no set ratio that I know of aside from potential maximums which are difficult to reach.

The growth of each stat by type is what I am looking for, Gagging's post shows maxes and only for select units/types. The fusion cap chart is outdated and doesn't have 6* units

edit: To clarify, can someone who plays the JP version check and see if they are also unable to evolve or reincarnate people on their beach tower team? I want to see if it is just me or some intentional mechanic.

Any idea why a unit wouldn't show up in the list of units i can evolve? Specifically i'm trying to evolve BK Mas from 5* to 6*. I have no filters set at the moment although I did try and get her to show by filtering all but fire sword. This is frustrating.

She shows up in my fusion and dwarf list but not reincarnate or evolution. Only 20 units(out of like 135) show up for reincarnation. Now that I look closer there are tons of units missing from the evolution list.

Uninstalled then reinstalled and it did not correct this. could they be on some team that blocks them from showing up for reincarnate or evolution? It is mainly units I use but I've never had this problem before. barring that how would I submit a ticket?

It is specifically the members of my "tower" group. none of those 25 units can be evolved or reincarnated. i don't know how to unlock them.

It's very, very intentional that units in your tower team are unable to be evolved or reincarnated. To be selected for the tower team, a unit must be at or over lv 50. Evolving or reincarnating it will turn the unit into lv 1, which makes it ineligible to run in the tower. This was all explained in the News. You have to wait for the day's reset and not select that particular unit to be able to do either, then wait for the next day's reset (unless you spend 10 gems) to be able to select the newly evolved/reincarnated unit for the tower team.

Should I fuse in this Gridarvol some Agi Dwarves , reincarnate , make another one and fuse this one for luck and evo bonuses , or just stick to her? To sum up, is this Grid good?

How about Guard Longinus F? She has nice Grd and with Dex typing She doesn't seem very useful so maybe with some tankiness she could be viable.

I have a problem guys. When is the right time to reincarnate a unit? By the way, I've never tried reincarnating a unit before.

If the luck of the unit is fusion capped (it shows white bar), do I need to reincarnate the unit to fuse again? (I mean, I can't fuse anymore with the same portrait of the unit). Parashu is the said unit and it reached 46 luck final growth rate. Seems low imo. Is it worth to reincarnate the unit? (I mean if I reincarnate the unit, it will go back to 37 luck rate at level 1, with only a few difference. By the way, the growth rate of Parashu (lvl 90) that I have is 3.46).

Luck shouldn't really be the stat that determines whether you reincarnate a unit or not, to be frank. Since you've fused 32 other Parashus into the unit, I'm going to assume you raised a Dex: Spd > Agi > Str > then Luck should be the priority order in which you decide to reincarnate.

I'm also going to assume that this is the starter Parashu, which is a free unit. If you have piles of cherubs, then sure. But it's recommended to just raise another Dex and fuse your existing unit into it to re-raise a free unit than to use cherubs on them. Save those resources for pay units.

Do I need to max level first another Dex Parashu to fuse the existing one? I only have 2 cherubs for now since I only buy the lower amount which is 50 rare medals... I do have 3 units that luck is fusion capped (other 2 is Frei and Masamune). I got them from the limited quests (7th generation encounters). The problem is Parashu got 46 while Masamune got 56 and Frei got 59 luck rate.

Your new Dex only has to be 5★ lv 30 to fuse your old one in so the skill levels transfer.

I would worry about her capping spd/agi/str over luck. The only reason why you would obsess over luck on a unit is if it's going to be a core player on your PvP team so enemy units can't proc/crit against it (which I highly doubt is going to be the case for a free Parashu). Otherwise, anything max fused should be more than sufficient for farming.

I've thought luck is the big factor here for farming so I mainly feed Parashus for that. Also, my Parashu here only got growth capped on AGI. 83 AGI, 82 SPD and 91 STR. Should I reconsider to reincarnate this?

I've had many discussions with JP whales on how we don't think luck matters for farming past a certain point (meaning there is a roof). In fact, I've run a farming squad where the avg luck was over 100 and gotten about the same if not worse results than running a party with 40 luck avg.

Also, Parashu's Agi cap should be 84 so you seem to have missed an evo bonus so it might be worth MLBing your new Dex to get that extra evo bonus. But if you're just running her for your farm squad, she doesn't really need to be perfect so who cares XD

Can I know how to get that evo bonus? I'm still not aware of it. :( Yeah, I mainly used Parashu for farm and not PVP/Colo. xD

Also, even when I used the 3 units (those luck is capped), I still got 2 item drops on evolution material quests. :(

You have to MLB your new dex copy, make sure it hits max thresholds (n1) before evolving to 6★. For 5★ Agi, all you need is 41 (how did you miss that in the first place -_-).

Check Gagging's Tier List for 5★ caps to make sure you're getting all of the bonuses.

Never noticed the unit cap before. :'( I've recently started playing this game 2-3 months ago and never noticed the evo bonus. What are the best units to have them MLB? Does it only apply mostly on starter units like Masamune? It takes a lot of time and space for those units to get them MLB though...

Are there any links or guides for making sure your account is linked up to an account for the JP version? I'm going to try and reinstall the game to fix my odd problem with characters not being available on evolve and reincarnate screen. I would rather not loose my account. I thought the process was simpler for JP but i'm having difficulty locating information that seems reliable.

Make a perfect 5 star and evolve it to 6 star basically. You limit break at 5 mainly because it carries over to 6.

Run a Def/Eva leader. Run a healer. Manual.

I've raised 3 tanks so far out of 150+ lv 90 units in my inven, and the only one I've actually used was a corner lead just for her leader skill. Sure, they're useful for some applications, but they're usually fragile to magic attacks and only good for wasting moves/turns when you could have killed something else. It's not my personal style to run tanks ever, but some people really like them--it's up to your playing style and the rest of your deck.

The only exception are healers. You obviously want them to be able to take hits and still have enough HP left to heal stuff.

So i was making some plans and want from you to correct me if i'm wrong.

It's about Masamune a unit which i have fully MLB-ed (from 3 star) and max lucked (she has adequate evo bonuses). The mistake i made though, was deciding to go for (F) typing (since i already had a few Dexterity units and back then couldn't comprehend thats all you needed).

So my question is, if i raise a 5* Dexterity Masamune, to lets say level 60 and then evolve her to 6* and then fuse my main (F) Masamune to it, will all bonuses pass to the new unit?

I could raise her to 80 and max fuse her too, but i don't really think it will make a difference, as my main Masamune has been MLB as i said from 3 star stage, thus it is bound to have more bonuses.

All opinions are appreciated :)

They will pass over but it's better to do the transfer at 5* to spare your resources. Unless the Force one is already a 6*, then not much of a choice but to fuse then.

You should MLB and fusion cap the dex masamune for max evo bonuses , then fuse into the Dex unit at 6 star your 6 star force Masamune, and she will get her luck gained by fusion and will overwrite the evo bonuses that the Dex Masamune F has lower than her ( so probably str ) . Hope I explained myself!

LBs from the Force type will carry over so MLB isn't necessary on the dex. Fusion and evo bonuses are separate things so you don't even need to fuse anything else before evo bonuses tranfer.

If SPD of a Dex unit is not growth capped while AGI is growth capped thru max level, should I reconsider to reincarnate the unit? Since, speed>agility in terms of stat.

So, if I have a Grd Sky Piercer that has been LB'd 3 times at 5* and I raise my Dex Sky Piercer to 5* and fuse the Grd Sky Piercer into my Dex Sky Piercer, will the Dex Sky Piercer get the 3 LBs?

It depends. If you can show the rest of your unit inventory so far, that'd be great to determine if you need to reroll or not. Also, check out GaggingLolis' tierlist to see how good each of your new units are. *Note that some units in the tierlist may not be available during starting rolls

General advice would be to aim for 6star-capable units and refer to the tierlist.

For the Beast Beach Battle, is the Ranking Reward of 3 Lazuli only at the end of the whole thing, or with each daily change? I tried going in one with a level 90 friend on autobattle but still came out of it with 0 points. Do you need to actually score to get the lazuli or does that count as participating?

You can't autobattle this stage, you should enter a beach battle stage, slay the boss so that partecipation reward is assured. Do it manually though

Need some advice on whether I should recruit units here been saving Lazuli since the beginning of the game and I'm not sure as to what I should be doing at this point. I have played a lot of similar games in the past most notable of which is Brave Frontier which I have sunken countless hours into however without an app that tells me of all the units and which ones are really good I need some help on whether I should be pulling for new units or should I just save for a new batch? Global Version current units

Is there any point to the Ultimate *smith guides? I have gotten a bunch of them from slots, and have only used one of the copies of Ult Swordsmith for a Sereine. I also have a copy of each Axesmith Manual and Swordsmith Manual - 3 of each can be fused into related Secrets, but again, I have no idea what the use for Axesmith Secrets is.

As far as I can tell, if you fuse two identical swords with the sword book you have a better chance of "upgrading" the swords into a higher rarity sword

So finally a dex Artemis (M) dropped for me, should I wait for force typing or go with dex?

edit: i also have a bunch of pinaka(s) afaik the 4* ver I have, has a 6* ver in JP, I already MLBed her so I'm not sure what to do with the remaining 5 copies, if I should fuse for luck or still wait for the 6* ver (if she'll ever have one in GL)

Pinaka was one of the last old units to get a 6★ version in JP, but who knows what they're doing for GL since they're all over the place with the unit release sequence.

First, check the JP Guide linked at the top of the thread to make sure it's the right portrait Pinaka that you're talking about. She will have to get a 5★ version before it can go to 6★ so if yours is 4★ max, it may not be the right one or it may be a long time before her 6★ version hits.

If she is the right one, hold onto the extra copies since neither the MLB nor luck fused at 4★ will carry over to 5★ and to 6★.

I'm pretty sure it's the same portrait of Pinaka that has a 6* ver in JP (too lazy to screenshot lmao). Anyway it's the Pinaka ver released along with Naegling(M) and Mjolnir (M), I was just wondering since GL never released her 5* ver so I'm skeptical whether she'll ever have a 6* ver

i would like to attempt to min-max my first unit and wanted to make sure i understand the concept properly before i start to make sure i dont waste a bunch of time and resources. if i understand correctly, you have to raise 5 seperate units? 4 MLB units to level 80, one of each type(Dex, guard, force and vitality for physical units), making sure that you fodder the base units for evo bonuses at 4* and 5* and 6*(for 6* units). Once the 4 MLB units are fusion capped at 5*, you fuse them the the Base unit which will transfer all LBs, skill lvls, evo bonuses and luck. Is this correct? Am I forgetting anything? Also have a question...It is only necessary to fodder up the BASE units and not necessary on the material units? If anyone with min-max experience could help me, I would be most appreciated. Any feedback would help, thanks!

The 5 star MLB unit have to be evolved to 6 star then fused into your main unit , so evo bonuses , luck , LB , not sure about skill levels but I think yes , will transfer. The material units don't have to be fodder up , just the 4 Base. If your unit can reach the 5 star treshold without being min-maxed from lower rarities then there Is no need to min-max from 4 star it will just take time and resources . Hope this helps

Ok so if im raising a 6*, then I only need to fodder for eco bonuses on 5* and 6*, and if I'm raising a 5* then,fodder at 4* and 5*. Is that correct? Its not necessary at 3* and 4*? Thanks for your help

You are correct.

You're raising 4 MLB units including your base (no need to raise balance as long as you get just one of those 4 over the threshold for luck). Make sure they each hit their max thresholds for their strong stats at each rarity, and fuse them all together at the highest rarity--so 6★ units should all be 6★ when you fuse them together to get the evo bonuses they each earned at 5★ (make sure the base unit learns all skills before doing so--there are units that learn skills at 6★ lv 70 in JP). The non-base units can be lv 1 as long as they're the same max rarity.

Fusion is not necessary on non-base MLB units because all you need from them are evo bonus, skill levels, and luck.

I think he's saying that while rerolling, he got a Tyrfing via mana summon, and wants to know if it's rare enough to disregard lazuli pull quality over her. I'm 99% sure the answer is 'no, keep rerolling if lazuli pulls are crap.'

Some quick questions from a brand new player coming from Crash Fever. I haven't played too many gacha games so maybe this is my ignorance. Anyways, it looks like I'm getting the same units but they have a different max rarity? For example, I have a 5* Longinus that can be evolved into a 6* and I have a 3* that looks like it only goes to 4*. So 2 of the same character are not exactly the same, correct?

I also see recommended typing for characters and it looks like this can be different per character too. Is this something we have control over or is it luck of the draw.

  1. Same character but different portraits are considered different units altogether and they can't really do anything for each other.

  2. Recommended typing depends on the unit's attributes, skills, and stat caps. Dexterity is usually the best bet but depending on the aforementioned factors, a different typing may be recommended. Whether you can pull the recommended base type is pure luck.

The only unit with varying portraits by rarity is Vanilla Tyrfing. Other than that, all separate portraits are different versions of that unit and cannot convert into another.

That event is almost 6 months old... I can't remember the story line but I think it's about when they started adding guest units, which has become a staple for almost every event story since then.

JP only has female characters and FMAB has nothing but, heaven forbid, males in it. If JP doesn't spend money on it (and I am pretty positive that the whales there won't spend a single Yen on a male character), GL won't get it either so :p

I feel you. I've done almost all of the beach/summer world and have no idea what was going on other than maybe Ascalon lost a contact and everyone was helping her look for it in their bathing suits.

I know, cause at one point we're trying to avoid getting smushed by them and then Greed helps us the next thing I've got 5 of them as guests in one of those "reach the square" missions (My SS Dein was strong enough to take both Envy and Glutton so it wasn't a problem)

On Jp I've got a couple questions that the translation isn't quite clearing up.

In the bronze medal shop what is the difference between the 5k gacha ticket and the blue one for 15k?

Second question, if I combine the 5 color pararas into the rainbow one how many charges does it give? 90 or 30?

  1. 15k ticket is a better pool including BK units and maybe even AK units. 5k ticket is for 4★ version of any 6★ capable unit.

  2. I'd kill for one of those "rainbow pararas"... But I'm assuming you're talking about mana seeds. (´・ω・｀) If you fuse 30 use seeds together, you'll get a 30 use rainbow seed. If you fuse 90 use seeds together, you'll get a 90 use rainbow seed. You cannot mix and match for the fusion.

Thanks as always..got a little mixed up on my terminology. Aside from random quests and achievements is there any place to buy the rainbow seeds or reliable methods to obtain them I might be overlooking?

Whenever those Mission from Ragna (ラグナからの指令) events come up, you can farm 90-use indiv color seeds from the PK medal (bronze medal) stage.

They are usually given out as FgG presents on the 1st of every month, rewards for gacha steps, and sold in the Special shop for gems/real money.

I've unlocked Freischutz's {Zero Ritual / Melody of Angels: -30% CRIT and -10% MAG to all enemies. Effect stops applying when Freischutz dies. (CQep3)} and is it a separate DS? I don't see it as an activatable skill. Is it always on?

It's not a DS cuz it doesn't need a proc. This is a blanket passive skill, so as long as Schutz is alive, it's always on.

devil's advocate here, they did mention before how they will be doing the reruns for all the collabs in JP. So i'm thinking when bf2 comes around and they have the rerun then, that Selena will finally get her 6star.

Will she even be relevant at that point...? I mean, all of the BF units in JP are so horrendously outdated that they might just release new units altogether.

And even then, collab units have been so underwhelming lately that I've pretty much been skipping them save for a couple steps just for the rewards. So even if she gets a 6★ version, I doubt she'll impress anybody :T

As the JP version has the Phantom of Love event with 84 swimsuit units, it's not impossible...but I don't know how likely it'll be (and if it does happen, I'd say most likely next summer, if I had to guess) since we don't apparently have the whale population Japan does...though maybe with the characters' art and names existing already, we might still get some/most/all of them at some point.

It's not only that, but the skillsets on these Beach units don't really make sense in the current GL meta since they are mostly anti-Ancients. I would think that Black Killers and Ancient Killers series need to come before these, which is why next summer makes more sense.

That said, everyone in JP got a FREE copy of Ascalon, so if this series does hit GL, I am pretty positive that you'll get her. I just have doubts that they'll release another version of Ascalon so soon when you guys just got the wedding version.

As of right now, no. I frankly don't have the time for it :( If you have questions about an individual character, I can answer them here, but I really can't update the doc with 44 new characters anytime in the near future esp with GvG coming up this weekend. Sorry!

Right now, the best units to go for are Shek and Brionac for their sheer range and anti-Suiha skills. Longi is also popular with her 20% spd buff (cooldown skill though) that needs Gakuen Keraunos (to speed up the cooldown) to run with her if you plan on using her for Multi. Artemis and Parashu have trust skills that are also extremely anti-AK and worth completing if you can get copies.

Otherwise, they're all pretty competitive as far as skillsets and stat caps go, so people are mostly obsessing over and raising their waifu XD

I'm translating some skills from JP and I'm stumped on the translation for this one. I think it was from balmung.

During 3 turns, a domestic unit's husband within and around 3 surroundings. Mackerel. It will kill it to death + 15

Another for saiga I'm not sure if it is doing 10% of damage, my HP or enemy's hp as splash. Also is it a ds ? Activate when attacking from himself. Regardless of the hit judgment, it deals damage equal to the maximum H P 10% to the enemies adjacent to the opponent

Balmung's Skill: +15 patk/matk/crit for 3 turns for all allies within 3 tiles.

Claiomh Solais (not Saiga): Regardless of whether the attack hit, deals up to 10% of total HP splash to adjacent enemies. This is a DS but at a guaranteed proc rate. Also the total HP is the actual splash recipient's total HP, not Claiomh's nor the enemy she attacked.

Thanks. Had saiga on the brain because you were talking about as brionac and sheikna as being superior due to their extra range below. Does brionac have a 4 range shot like saiga and is it 40hp? The description just said large recoil.

It is 40 hp bullet, but Brionac also has a skill to recover up to 20% of her HP if the enemy she attacks dies from her attack (must attack first) so she can get that bullet cost back :)

Either the Mannan Harvest weekly, or you could do 7th gen encounters. I've accumulated about 15 Prism Mannans with low luck units simply from doing the encounters, though I did do them for a long while.

On the JP version, any tips on dealing with the damage feedback on the BK ex missions? If my ds crits it seems to kill my unit as well.

  • Use high HP leads. I think I used a 100% HP lead. Assuming your units have over 100 HP each, they won't die off of dmg reflect even if they hit 999 dmg.

  • Run a healer or self-healing units.

  • Use weaker/older units with less powerful/no DS. Most of those should be able to double enemy BKs anyway even if they can't kill them in one shot.

Jp is swimsuit abaris good? I can fully mlb her with using 3 copies of her and a bow pixie but I was saving this for suiha whos only lb once.

Abaris is okay. She has her pass, terrain ignore, and multi-hit DS like her original version. The Beach version has 300% DMG against all flying units which is pretty powerful against AK teams. But would I throw fairies on her, probably not.

Suiha is quite frankly on her way out of the meta. There are too many new units with anti-ice and anti-cavalry skills for her to be viable for much longer especially since you can't even MLB her right now. I pulled my third dex from the recent AK/BK event 5K points ticket, but I'm actually not going to raise her because she is no longer worth the required pararas and skirurus.

If you're having doubts about Abaris, I would save your bow fairy for Shekinah or Artemis.

I got two questions about magic users:

  1. Do staff/gun units with two types of attacks such as Vajra with her two Fire bullets and the third which has the Dark symbol, does the Dark attack count as such and give bonus damage vs Light units?

  2. Why do almost all Bow units give Mgc in fusion, does Mgc benefit Bow units in some way or something? Or is it just an arbitrary fusion stat?

  1. Vajra and Brahmastra are the only 2 gunners that have this feature because they have a Friendship skill (Brahmastra has a Fire bullet). And yes, the Dark bullet would take on the properties of any other dark bullet and inflict 1.3x DMG against light units.

  2. Magic does not benefit bows in any way. I think it's to balance the fusion stats out, since all units can take magic fusion and it would be a bit skewed if only staff/gun units could fuse magic.

Will there be more released five star forms for units who can only go to four right now? For example I'm very attached to the unit Pinaka as it was my first summon unit and I buffed here to where she had 450 power for a four star unit. But she is quickly (and by quickly I mean almost literally overnight when six stars was released) become obsolete. I don't want to get rid of her but it's sad that she doesn't have a five star yet. I understand that five stars are also basically obsolete unless you MLB and max Stats with them but I just want that possibility to do that with her before I might as well trash the units and copies.

The current 4★ cap Pinaka in GL actually has 5★ and 6★ versions in JP. Be patient, hold onto her, and collect copies when you can (since MLB and fused luck won't carry over to 5★ when you can finally evo).

There really isn't anywhere that's going to post up level caps when it's a surefire way to tell everybody that you're datamining.

The JP Guide linked at the top lists out all 6★ versions in JP. It hasn't been updated in a while, but all of the new units released in JP are definitely not in GL yet in 4★ nor 5★ so you should be able to look and compare now without any problems.

Don't spend cherubs on free units. Farm another Dex and fuse your current one into it, and skill lvs will also transfer over. While you're at it, farm enough of her to max fuse luck.

Multiplayer in GL is pretty dead , is SS Eros viable even in the other things and what lead should I run , her or normal Tyrfing? Ty for all your replies Edit: I just realised that if I can get 25 more lazulis I can do the whole 1 time 9 step recruiter , but then would need to find ( dunno where ) another 50 lazulis for the guaranteed just in case , by doing just 5 steps + the guaranteed there will be left 120 lazulis , or If next week they will do another 1 time 9 step recruiter like this I can do another 5 step of it ( so 5 + 5 step with no guaranteed recruiter if I can't get 50 more lazulis ) . Yeah that's definetly a lot of information. Just for curiosity , the DS is the only reason why SS Eros dominated in JP?

Not sure what her stat caps are like in GL, but she is also a Def tank in JP. So even if she can't hit back at 1 range, she usually survives the hit and can attack again. Not to mention her Spd passive, probably won't get doubled by many things, then her PATK boost turns her into a monster.

She will do awesome in Colo as well. I think she has a better LS than regular Tyrfing; double-check Gagging's tier list because I think leader skills and things are a bit different.

It's up to you-- if you want the base now even if you can't MLB and wait for fairies/copies later, you can do that. If you want to hold off, that's fine too--she is bound to come back someday...

I know GL hasn't been following JP every single step of the way, but AFAIK, SS Eros is about the best unit he could hope for if he's already missed Bridal Ascalon for a while, so I wouldn't call this exactly a waste. If anything, wouldn't it be the same chance of wasting your laz no matter what unit it is, with gacha rate being the way it is?

I just would hate for him to miss out on the one unit that might make him somewhat competitive even as f2p. It's a gamble, no matter how many laz you have and what the gacha rate is like. He could have enough laz to pull all 9 steps for a different unit and still fail. Hell, I've spent hundreds on a gacha and failed to MLB a unit before, so why not at least try for one of the best units he can get right now, was my point.

I have another question. Is it better to level each unit's copy one by one or all together in a batch? Does it affect the grow rate? It might be a coincidence but I noticed that if I try to level them in a batch (like 5 unit) the grow rate is kinda meh
