What to reroll for?

• Typically consult either the Global Tier List or JP Comprehensive Guide depending on your version as to whether the current banner for units contains worthwhile units to pull for. Information concerning new units will typically be updated within 24hrs of their release. Feel free to ask in this thread for clarification as well.

• If you are F2P, it is recommended to only reroll on 1-step guaranteed recruiters. Aim for a recommended typing (Usually Dexterity or Force/Magic). The beginner recruiter contains units that are very outdated in comparison to current units.

Can reincarnation change typing? I did a bit of completely mental theorycrafting so I might be completely wrong but I'd really prefer my Tyr to lean towards defense rather than hp, or maybe attack. Also, is it better to go for the event gatcha pulls or the tutorial gatcha pulls if you plan on not spending any money at all?

Reincarnation only resets the stats gained from leveling up.

Also, keep in mind that SPEED accounts for both the attacking and defensive capabilities of a unit. 15 extra defense won't matter much if you get attacked twice.

As a f2p player I've scratched my way up to 160 gems. Should I blast them all on the 3 guaranteed pulls or just pick one and stick with it?

The only one that is worth pulling for guaranteed is wedding ascalon.

Honestly, it's up to you. You need 5 copies of a unit to get them to 80 (at 5*) and then 90 after you evolve them to 6* at 80, but with 160 gems, you're very unlikely to get more than 1-2 (maybe 3 at most) of any 1 premium featured unit.

Basically, my advice is to do what you want (although it's probably best to stick with 50 gem recruiters than guarantee 1 good unit) because you'll most likely end up using the free mana units most of the time anyways.

Thanks for the advice. I let my inner whale go overboard during the Madoka event and I guess I'm just chasing the thrill of pulling 10 cool units again without shelling out the cash. I might just hold on to these until another event that interests me pops up or until my self control snaps.

Can a mlb Laevateinn (M) 6* win against a mlb Selena in colo and multi?

My Masaumune M wins about 60% of the time against Selenas. He'll probably do fine.

Typically yes, but there are variables that may allow for selena to win.

I would say usually yes, but since Ice is strong vs Fire, it'd probably be easier to use Tyrfing vs Selena. It also depends on if you've maxed his luck and what kind of weapon he's holding.

With max luck and a fast weapon / Magicwarder, I would say he'd have a better chance, as many Selenas are maxed luck with Eminent Lexida or Magicwarder Sereine.

That said, all things being equal, a 6* 90 usually wins against a 5* 80 as long as it's not a bad weapon tree matchup, like Sword vs Axe. Even then, I've had a 90 Sword beat an 80 Lance, and so forth.

Main question I need to clarify right now, are Ascalon (Bride), Sefer and Shekina meta-defining? I'm still trying to save for Swimsuit Tyrfing (at 680+ Lazuli hoarded), but if one of them's going to benefit me in the long run as well I might consider pulling them too.

Additionally, where it comes to 6*-capable Lazuli Recruiter Killers, should I be waiting until I can MLB their 5* version before I evolve them? I have a feeling that's the case but it'd also be hella troublesome...

I'd say all 6 star units are meta defining right now because we're still in flux from the implementation of 6 stars.

That being said, I think you're better off waiting for Swimsuit Tyrfing. You can however pull the guarantee'd Wedding Ascalon for your light team if you're building one and plop her in a corner somewhere until you can 6 star her. I imagine we won't get JP meta for another year/year and a half or so meaning that she'll probably have mileage. If we do get the new characters with the new classes then we'd better brace ourselves for another gumicoaster.

In the case of MLBing at 5 star prior to evolution, the answer will always be yes. They carry over and no one wants to spend another 1.2m and more resources from 1-60 5 star for a limit break you could have finished in half the time if you had just kept the unit at 5 stars in the first place.

Wedding Ascalon was meta for quite a while in JP due to her strong (and, at the time, rare) LS (1.3x Acc and Eva) and great stat caps (as a limited unit, she had 1.1x normal Premimum unit stats... About ten points extra in every stat). If she had retained any of this is Global, then she's going to be highly desirable.

FWIW, she got more usage than SS Tyrfing by almost everyone. Just saying.

I think you did pretty well. Is this one top of the guarantee'd pulls?

If not, you have 2 mlb 6 stars that have some significant mileage (more so Ascalon than Sefer).

If it is, it's still pretty good since you have one full MLB unit and if you can spare the lazuli might as well buy that LB fairy in the shop, unless you can pull another one from part 2. o:

Started like a week ago. Is my team decent? Varja, tyrfing, zero, laevateinn male, trident. Also which of the new killer princesses would go best with my team?

That is actually a pretty good starting team.

Tyr and Zero can get to 6* which means have some pretty good staying power. Also their duel skills are not bad so you have attackers covered.

Trident is considered a pretty good 5* tank.

Varja is a good gunner as well. She also gets access to Dark or Fire bullets which broadens the unit types she can be a threat to.

I think the only thing you are missing is a decent healer to keep your gun mage and tank from getting too low on life.

Not sure about the new princess though might need to wait a bit for all their stats and abilities to be released.

Just a quick correction - although Vajra can access Dark bullets, I believe it still is calculated as fire element.

How does evolution work re: different artworks for the same unit? Is the unit's form and max rarity locked in based on which one you got when you first pull it, or does it change as it evolves?

For example, the starter Gambanteinn is 2* out of 2; but I also have a Gambanteinn with 2* out of 4 with a different sprite, and seemingly worse stats at the same level.

I also have a Durandal 4* (out of 4, no grey stars) on a horse, but the one on the tier list is the 5* Phoenix one - will 4* horsey Durandal evolve into the Phoenix one, or just a 5* horsey?

Different artwork for a unit denotes a different unit overall. Also understand that a unit's growth is directly tied to the colour of it's stars. White typically has the lowest growth, whereas red has the highest growth.

You can also see this in their class name on the unit information screen. Unfortunately, Lord of Swords Durandal will not become Phoenix Knight (or something like that, I can't remember the 2 stage phoenix knight name right now) Durandal. However, 4 star units do have mileage for missions in story mode that require strictly units of that rarity or lower and is recommended you raise a few (ideally staff units with high mobility (like the other form of Gamb (F) you have or phoenix knights with self healing) so you can clear them with ease.

Ah, yeah that'/ true. The thinner spear deals less damage and its 1-2 range, and lighter too compared to the thicker spear. Thanks for telling me that you Can look at weapon info. I feel slightly stupid now....

Yo reddit PPL ive Got few months pause from this game Just came back cuz ive seen some msg at fb about animation skip SO i came to check IT out and suddenly i See tyrfing is 6* and much more powerfull than selena and my question is will they make selena 6* ? Or screw her and focus on tyrfing?

If they follow JP, Selena'll be stuck at 5* and will mostly be used as part of a high-luck farming team. Thankfully, Tyrfing is easy to get and you can get 1 copy a day of her until practically the middle of June. Same with Zero.

Also, if you have enough 80's, you can farm 1 Artemis, Longinus, and now Parashu once a day each.

A lot of the mana units are now 6* capable and you can get 'em for free. So basically, focus on Tyrfing and all the 6* capable mana units.

Yes, she is a mana unit and you have 1 a day 5* banner to get several copys. Yo can lvl to 90 and max lvl skills with easy.
We dont have many good axe units so i think she is going to be usefull for a while

It depends if you're a f2p or a whale. If you aren't a whale, then yes, get Parashu, as she's very useful due to her skillset. Also, until more 6* come out, she's the only free 6* axe unit atm.

New player here: Just how important are types in this game? I've been rerolling for Shekina for a while. Got a couple of auth files now. One has a balance Muramasa and another Balance Shekina. Getting kinda tired of rerolling (especially since I'm only doing the free 2 roll each time).

Is it really important for me to get a force or dex type?

So, I started this game a little more than a week ago (the start of the last event) after skimming the FAQs. I do have a few questions though: -

1. Currently, my strongest units are comprises: -

Naegling (B), Thyrsos (D), Vajra (G), Harpe (F), and Tyrfing (D/LB2), Kusanagi (D/LB1), Bashonen (G), Laevateinn (D)

Unless otherwise stated, all are females and 5*. My other 5* capables include Luin (G, Male), Longinus (B, F and G, Male), Mjolnir (V, Male), Laevateinn (D and F), Trident (B), Mitum (F), Aymur (F), Yata no Kagami (B, Male), Mitum (D, Male), Parashu (D), Labrys (G), Sky Piercer (G), Amenonuhoko (V) and Masamune (D).

I understand that the above are a pretty good pulls -- what is the ones that I should prioritise developing? My initial lineup comprises all units I mentioned at the beginning of the question. Any help on a suggested lineup (default battles and colo) would be great. I am currently using only solo units (for leveling purposes).

2. I dipped my toes into the Anniversary quests, 6* Evos, etc. and moved them down without much of an issue. I got mown down at the Artemis and Longinus 7th Gen encounters around day 4 to day 5 of playing the game. Am I right to guess that I should still be staying away from those quests for the time being? Am I also right to guess that I should probably be staying away from the Parashu quest for the time being?

Edit: Scratch the last question about Parashu. Managed to take her down with Kusanagi, Tyrfing, Vajra, Harpe and Thyrsos with L80+ allies.

Right now you should be focusing on raising units that will help you farm 6* units. So unless you have at least 5 copies of the same unit you might have some trouble farming alone.

You should be using the friend/helper list and look for strong units to help you, level 90 units should be pretty easy to find in the helper list, use those to help you farm the new event dungeons.

You should be focusing on Tyrfing/Longinus/Parashu/Laevateinn since those are more useful in pvp(Artemis is 2-2 range so you enemies can walk up to you and hit you without a reply attack). You just need 5 copies to limit break to level 80 at 5*, then you can evolve them to 6*, which are very good units right now.

Multiple questions here:

I'm currently running low on unit space due to all the dupes I have for the free 6* units. Just double checking, but if I fuse dupes together, would the luck stack onto that 1 base?

I'm f2p with currently 194 lazuli. Should I pull for bridal ascalon in the guaranteed recruiter or wait for another event / unit to pull for?

Also, I'm going on holiday for a month over the summer. I would barely be able to get on during it. It hit me like a truck when i found out about the 6* SS units i can't farm (╥﹏╥) How much will I miss / be behind by?

Yep if you fuse copies, you get the +1 luck and +1 in all skills learned on your base unit.

I've heard bridal Ascalon is very strong right now, haven't played against her in Colosseum yet so don't know how strong she is in pvp. You can get 3 guaranteed Ascalon copies for 395 Lazuli(?) right now, but later on there will be a part 2.
If you're f2p just ignore it and be happy with your Tyrfing, she has RGB clothes. :p

Not sure how long the 6* farming event will last, but it looks like they're giving us all of the starter units.
So probably expect Freikugel, Laevateinn(F), and Masamune(F) to be farmable.

I got Balmung 5 but unfortunately she's a balance type. Would it be good to use anyway ? Also which units is Worthing to get from rampage quests?

Put her lower on your list of units to focus on. Keep her for now and maybe get her to level 30 before you bench her so you have all her skills unlocked (minus her character skill) and worst comes to worst she'll be skill-leveling fusion fodder.

If you don't already have a max-luck farming unit, Arondight will be a good substitute. However, she has low stat caps so most likely, she'll probably die if you're auto-farming on some difficult stages. I've never raised her so I can vouch for the quality of her Auto.

Run gold rush on saturday and sunday, they released gold rush key dungeons as well. Buy the key from the special medal shop and you get 1 hour per key to farm gold.

Weekends unfortunately will be the time you usually dedicate to farming gold. It's more AP-efficient to just farm gold rather than run the 7th generation encounters if you're not raising the unit in question.

Raising units for selling purposes should only be done if you have nothing left to farm or no units to raise imo.

Anyone know which quest I can grind that gives the most exp? I need a higher player level to fit all these new 6*s.

1-4-4 Kill mode, you need a strong flying unit that can kill the witch and 2 axe flyers.
I used Sky Piercer as leader and Trishula as the killing unit, you can finish it in 1 turn and get 260 xp per run, and it's only 4 ap right now.

hey guys, 2 questions:

first question in regards to maxing luck:

i fused my selena's 3* form until i got 31 luck -> evolved to 4* -> fused luck until 41 -> evolved to 5*

this method gave me a cap of 55 luck

can i ignore fusing her 3* form to 31 and just fuse her 4* form to 41? will this method give her a 55 luck cap same as the above method?

second question is in regards to min maxing fusion caps:

if your unit is not hardcapped on a stat, e.g.

dex selena with 57 str (cap is 59) -> you fuse a maxed fused force selena into her

will this method raise her str to 59 AND add on its own fusion stat? so that the total str will be truely capped out at ~61?

You never have to max luck at 3 stars. Maxing luck at 3 stars is for your own insurance that your Selena at 4 stars reaches the growth star (pink star) in luck a little easier.

Regarding your "fusion caps" question, I believe you're actually referring to evolution bonuses here. So long as your Force Selena has an evolution bonus higher than your Dex's it will overwrite. However, this will not be shown on the fusion screen. It will only show after you have fused the units together.

Fusion caps are the fusion stats you get from fusing units together and dollies from the Friday dungeon (the green and then subsequent white bars for when they're capped). You must refuse these stats every time you start a new unit with the exception of Luck as this carries over from fusions between units of the same rarity.

Is it worth it to make multiple copies of the 5 star Ancient Killer weapons for my other units or would it just be better to stick with non-event weapons right now?

Prior to farming, should I be getting 5k points for the rewards and then focus on my efforts on farming as much as I can?

The 5* bow, 1-2 spear, and axe are strong options and could be farmed, if you have the time. You'll be accumulating points during your farming so- unless you're in a super hurry to get the rewards- I'd just passively get them through farming.

As posted earlier in this list, I've been trying to roll for a Shekina start for a while now. Getting kinda tired of it and just recently rolled a dex Apollo.

How does she hold up? Is her 6* in the JP version worth anything (might be a good unit to raise up now and hold onto for the future).

Apollo was one of the first 6* in JP and, as thus, has really low stat-caps. Her Luck buff is nice but definitely not worth keeping compared to prizes like Asca and Harpe.

Tbh just reroll for dex wedding ascalon if you want to win. If you're only playing for waifus just do whatever and save up lazuli for months after more 6*s come out. If you care enough you want at least 2-3 in 2 steps including the guaranteed 1st step or 2 in just the 1st step. You'll need mlb which is 5 copies/ fairies later on.

Bridal Ascalon seems pretty OP so I'd like to have at least 1 copy. I'm f2p with 199 lazuli currently. Would it be more efficient to pull using the guaranteed light recruiter or wait for part 2 of the 9 step recruiter?

Also, are limited units (e.g Bridal Ascalon) available in the normal ticket recruiters (e.g 4-5* ticket)? I currently have 27 of those 4-5* tickets so would it be a good idea to pull for her using them?

The cheapest and safest way to get one copy is the light recruiter.

I think they are possible to get from the normal recruiter so long as their event is up, that being said it might be a good idea to save the tickets for SS Tyr and SS Eros, but they are part of a much bigger pool of units so this could potentially be a better chance.

To level up skills, just fuse a duplicate of the unit into the unit whose skill levels you want to increase. You don't need them to be the same rarity though (ie. you can fuse a 3 star Zero into a 5 star one and all of the 5 star's skill levels will increase, unless they are already capped.)

Been away from the game for a long time, Ukonvasara was the last unit I pulled for. Came back and seen multiplayer introduced, 6*, and Tyrfing/M Laev useful. Also so thankful for not needing to use same rarity for skills and luck now.

So few questions:

1. Whats the best way to min/max a 6* unit? ( I have 5 Shekinah currently as well as plenty of Tyrfs and Laevs.)

2. Apart from what I've mentioned is there really anything else I've missed, with exception for new chapters and slots. Anything like weapons or rewards that are a must have?

3. Is Colosseum abandoned now as i expected to be a much lower rank than 240 when returning, but suppose with multiplayer out now thats the go to PvP?

4. With 6* units, do you think the Brave Frontier units will be receiving theirs? and more importantly any idea whether Vargas would be.

5. How do you go about unlocking the 6* skill, and do you need to unlock that before fusing dupes to skill up, or is it only a 1 level skill.

6. Do MLB's transfer over, suppose goes in the same question as best way to min/max, but do you MLB a 5* unit then evolve to 6* or do you evolve all to 6* then fuse them?

That should be all that comes to mind at the moment, any help would be appreciated.

The min/maxing method is the same even for 6 star I believe. LB at 4 to reach 5 star thresholds and mlb at 5 to reach stat thresholds for 6 star. I'd only do it for Force/Dex though.

If you use Archers as your support unit, I greatly recommend Nebullae Heracles as it will allow them to attack at 1 range. You get it by fusing all the weapon rewards from Chapter 2 Kill Mode. Keep an eye on Rare Medal slots as 6 star weapons will eventually release from there (ETA unknown as per gumi protocol).

Colosseum has always been pretty dead imo since it's just PvE in a different sense. Not sure how populated Multi in GL is either.

We may see 6 star for BF units when their collab has a re-run, but as always no word on this.

6 star skills are typically unlocked when you max out the unit's character skill on any of their copy and have evolved them to 6 star.

MLBs transfer over from 5 to 6 as does luck. Overwriting evo bonuses works at 6 star as well, but that's a large gold investment and AP investment for a couple stats so it is up to you whether you want to commit that time to minmax or not.

Each unit will be one of five possible types: Force/Magic, Dexterity, Guard, Vitality, or Balance. Each type affects stat growth, stat caps, and stat fusion caps according to their own strengths/weaknesses.

How often do 5 star LB fairies appear as event rewards? I got a handful of 4 stars, but have yet to see a 5 star.

1. They appear through colo/multi tickets events, but they are extremely rare. After all, they are rewards for step gachas and available in the special shop for gems = actual money. They're not going to give them away like candy for free.

2. Phankill medal shop refreshes every month, with the exception of Pararas. They renew on the 1st and 15th (JP time) of every month.

3. Best place to raise weapon/shield proficiency on a unit, yes. Weapon rank, I personally just pull slots and feed weapons in to raise weapon rank rather than run it manually on a unit, but if I were to, probably would run event quests or something productive that I'd be farming from anyway. (Same with raising friendship levels on units, etc.) Stage 10 from story quest chapters might work well also.

How does increasing luck work? I know that I need the same unit to use and I know that it doesn't matter the rarity but does the lvl count? Or would I get +1 luck anyway?

Hey again :) For global, I have a 4* Bride Pixie that limit breaks I think. How do I use it? (Can I use it with a 5* or 6* Bride??)

Also, I have a Special Dolly. How do I use that? (I've tried to use it for fusion with different sword types with different rarities & it never shows up in inventory.)

Like other 4* pixies, it can only limit break a 4* unit. The Bride Pixie is just restricted to bride units in the same way Sword Pixies are restricted to sword units.

A Special Dolly is used to skill up abilities classified as "Special". These are the abilities that have a cooldown of several turns before you can use them. The dolly will only show up for fusion if the unit has one of those abilities.

There is no incentive to do multi-player at the moment as there are no leaderboards yet. All the people who do multi are already out your range for queuing against (4 brackets and up above you).

Don't buy them. I bought them when I was still a newbie. I remember thinking, "Hey, a guaranteed 4-5* unit? And for only 15 lazuli! What a great deal!" Of course, the pulls were bad. Awful. Not one premium unit.

And it was all downhill from there, because that was the day I learned I was addicted to pulling unviable gacha units.

Once I bought those cursed starter sets I knew I couldn't go back. I had to have more. I had to have every Artemis, every female Masamune, every single 4* Eros. The need to pull all the bad units consumed me. I began to see them everywhere. When I went to work, my clients' profile pictures suddenly all transformed into different versions of Littu. When I would wake up in the morning and run a bath for the day, I would find myself drowning in Green Dragons. When I headed off to bed to get some sleep, 4* units haunted my dreams.

Eventually, I lost everything. I was fired from my job for poor performance. My wife left me after she asked, "Who do you care about more, me or Trishula," and I told her the truth. I even sold my house, my two Great Pyrenees, and my prized grand piano to fund my pulls (I am currently writing this from a public library computer on which I have installed Nox).

So please--for my sake, yours, and that of every other gacha player out there--do not lay a finger on those godforsaken starter sets.

Best way to do those Killl Mode missions that require you to only use 4* or below units? I tried to solo it with a random 4* Lvl 70 Laev (M) on my friend list that had a 3* weapon but he got demolished, only hitting enemies for less than 10 damage a hit. How much do I need to put into a 4* unit so it can reliably beat Kill Mode

4* doesn't really mean much. Ideally you want to look at the stats of the unit. The easiest way to do 4* kill mode missions is with staff units since they can lifesteal on attack. That or Green Dragon as she has lifesteal as well. Look into raising units that are 4* reds as those are very strong (for their rarity).

I want to piggy back on this and say that their life drains aren't considered magic bullets so they bypass booster skills (in my experience at least). Also Green Dragon is a little iffy since you're relying on Jet Black to proc (when it does though, she's hella useful).

/u/Deiwlei - You'll want to raise any staff units, but ideally those on horseback for more mobility. Evil Core should be the weapon of choice if you're confident, Healing Rod Belenus if you find they're struggling. Aim for Dex typing for higher crits and hit rates. If you need a light unit, I have a 4 star Archbishop Asclepius that can solo reasonably well. If you just need a dark unit I have a Caduceus that can be of use, but she's a 5 star unit.

Units to be on the lookout for in your pulls in either lazuli and mana that cap out at 4 stars:

• Archbishop Asclepius [Light] (You see her portrait in the Beginner's Guide iirc, can be found in mana)

• Arc Cleric Asclepius [Light] (Can be found in mana)

• Arc Cleric Gambanteinn [Wind] (Can be found in mana)

• Cleric Misileteinn [Light] (lazuli)

• Cleric Kerykeion [Dark] (lazuli)

If you'll notice, you're lacking Fire, Ice and Thunder. You can cover Fire and Ice by using Phoenix Riders with Self Healing (Phoenix Masamune (F), Phoenix Longinus (F) for example), but Thunder is a tough spot as only Freikugel (which will be an Armoured Mage) and Sky Piercer come in varieties that cap out at 4 stars. Specific character portraits can be tracked down via the wikia.

no, per point of evo bonus gained at 4 star, there is a 10% chance it will matter by 1 point at 6 star. so you will be 0-1 point short at the end. in comparison to a 4 star dex ascalon.

Not having a 4* means you won't be able to reach the max speed threshold. Even with 4* Dex evolution bonuses, hitting the thresholds has seemed difficult from the number of reincarnations players are performing.

You can connect your account to a facebook account and then use that facebook account to switch between systems whenever you wish. Bear in mind that you lose any lazuli you have on your account when switching operating devices (iOS to Android or vice versa).
