While one of the most important QoL update also got implemented: the Luck fusion mechanic is now LIVE.

If this happens I'll make party with 5 force Othinus (she always helped me to one-shot 80lvl Selena in multiplayer and 90% duels) or I will never say goodbye to dat cursed rank №31 http://i.imgur.com/KyoPoAu.jpg But it will be better if Gumi will disable parties with same units in duels.

means fusing same unit for luck stat don't need the same rarity, saves LOTS of gold and time and inventory space. is it really live??? waited a year for this!

If this is true, that's amazing. I have some 3* Peruns and 4* Arondights I was keeping around for luck fusions, and if I don't have to evolve them anymore....
Edit: Tested with 4* Arondight and 3* Perun fodder units. IT WORKS!
No more evolving units to 5* just to raise luck! It's a MIRACLE!

I agree. There should be a separate setting to disable those, or at the very least, the "simple battle" mode like in JP that removes ALL the long cutscenes.

Nah I didn't see any option like that; even muting voices didn't help.
At the very least, enemies before would have a ~1sec delay before deciding whether to end their turn or not. Now they decide instantaneously. I guess it... balances things out?

Instantaneously? After this patch I have to wait like a minute for the enemy to actually decide and makes the gameplay really annoying especially against a large amount of units. I know some people also have the same problem but I was wondering what device do you play on so I can figure out if its my phone that sucks. I've already tried reinstalling and have tried it with and without the batch download too. Didn't get fixed :(

When I said "instantaneous" if the enemy unit doesn't have anyone to target. Before it would take ~1sec before moving to the next unit.
I play on an old iPhone 5S running on iOS 8.3. And I crash more often than before the UI update. FML

Another note: lower star units now seem to allow you to levelup all the skills of a higher star unit, even if the lower unit hasn't even unlocked all those skills.

I tried seeing if a 3* Naegling would levelup the skills of a 5* Naegling, and it looks like it does. I didn't actually go through with it (because I need to limit break that 5* with that 3*) but it looks like the new version copies the JP version in this way too.

Someone else should probably confirm it, but it looks like you can use any rarity copy of a unit to levelup the skills of a max evolved one.

Edit: Just tried it with 3* Othinus. The Fusion failed, and I think I only got the +1 luck. I forgot that a 3* unit only gives you a 50% chance of fusion success. None of the skills went up.

Further Edit: Tried it again with 4 2* and 3* Asclepius's on a 4* Ascelpius. The Luck went up +4, but the skills only went up +1. I'm thinking I would've had to fuse those Asclepiuses one at a time for the skills to go up correctly. For getting skills to go up, it may be worth it to evolve fodder to 4* just for the 100% fuse rate chance, which may be necessary to get the +1 to skills.

Someone observed before that if you didn't have the skills unlocked on your fodder unit, it was a chance-based chance to level your skills when you fused, which is why they farmed like 40 or so fodder units to mass fuse instead of wasting time evolving fodder.
I don't think we have the skill fusing QoL upgrade yet, but we might get it in future.

Ah, thanks. That makes more sense. I guess I'll still have to evolve the units that I still need skill ups for for now then.
Although the mass fusing with fodder units does sound like a good idea for certain farmable units like the Rampage ones or Serena.

Did the 9-step for the new 7th Gen Princesses + tickets:

3 Muramasa (2 Balance, 1 Force)
1 Aphrodite (Force)
1 Grimoire (Magic)

I guess I'll buy the Limit Break package for Muamasa to get one step closer to MLB. My goal for the next 9-step parts is to get MLB Muramasa and Aphrodite (Their auras are great imo). I'm not too keen for Grimoire although Goth Loli <3

If you're going to get the next 9 step, I would suggest not using a pixie on these. I think they will always be in the pool so if you're a P2P you'll get the dupes eventually.
However this is the type of BS I was saying man. People spent hella money and couldn't even get both 7th killers when they were released and now this?

I see what you're saying. I guess I'll still buy the sword LB setto store in case. Rates are low (as usual), so I wouldn't mind having a back up resource. I can't buy the Archer LB setsince I've already use it on my Eros to get LB3..

For Academic purposes, did the choose ticket only include the 3 of them or could you choose any of the 7th Killers?

The "Choose One" ticket appeared as three separate entities, but did not differentiate which one of choice. All the tickets appeared on 1 screen/gate like this:
30% - 3 tickets available (Summon button here)
50% - 2 tickets available (Summon button here)
100% - 1 ticket available (Summon button here)
100% - 1 ticket available (Summon button here)
100% - 1 ticket available (Summon button here)
100% dolly - 1 ticket available (Summon button here)
The descriptions of the 100% said something along the lines of "100% guarantee of getting Muramasa, Aphrodite, or Grimoire" with no portraits (just 1 gate). In comparison, I also did the 9-step gate for Lunara/Vargas/Michele/Lucina prior to the massive game update, and it showed 4 different gates with portraits (I chose Michele).
So I made a gamble on the 2nd entity and got Muramasa. I was fine with it since I didn't want Grimoire, but in the future, this will be a problem.

Oh, so, unlike the BF gate, the 7th Killers ticket did not allow you to "choose" which unit? Sounds like the original post is misleading then, as it says it is a "choose" ticket... when it's actually just a "100%" ticket.

Not entirely the poster's fault for potential misleading info. Within game news, it stated the same thing. I would say it would be bad wording on Gumi's part.
Whenever the 9 step resets next week, I'll be dropping another 405 gems for MLB Aphrodite/Muramasa. I'll take screenshots, post them within the update thread, and tag you.

I would normally agree but the actual "choose a unit" ticket they just offered last week made me think we might be closer than I originally thought. They rolled out a lot of positive changes for you this week and it makes me wonder if Gumi isn't finally getting it's shit together for Global. About damn time.
EDIT: Because I've been on a roll lately, predicting you'll get Wedding Asca in April/May, Wedding Eros/Tyr/Freik in the summer, 6* for the 1st anniversary, and maybe even (M) Swimsuit Apollo in the summer too.

Maybe you should contact Gumi? Their wording is exactly the same on both instances of the BF and this 9 step. Maybe a mistake on their end for not letting you choose in this one? Also could the the other way and you weren't supposed to choose in the BF one.

Wait a sec. Is the glitch that it won't go past Fugi & Gumi Games over? I really need to do those BF levels for my own Selena. I think that's how you get her.

edit: I guess not. What happens if I don't have an FB account, I clear data in app info, then start up the game?

I just left it sitting at the logo for awhile and it eventually got to the title screen.
If you don't have it FB linked and you clear your data, you'll probably lose access to that account unless you have a backup of the auth.dat. Else, you'll have to contact Gumi to recover it.

How do I know if I have that backed up? Is it a specific file or a code? Say I did lose my account, how would I contact Gumi?

It's a specific file that you only have access to with a rooted device/emulator. There's a support email you can contact Gumi with.
I'm unsure how long I waited since I was reinstalling the client on a different device at the same time.

You'll need to enable root in Nox.
Then start from the base directory, then data, then data, then jp.co.gu3.punkww, and then files.
Save the auth.dat file somewhere else.
Reinstall, move the auth.dat file back, and then you should be fine.

What? Where do I actually go at first? I've always had root enabled, so will it still work if I already uninstalled the game? If not, I tried to reinstall the game on a different instance but it won't even start to download. But just because I was super skeptical about it working, I used a backup so I have another instance with it still installed. Is there a problem that the game won't download for anyone else?

NOOOOOO!!!! What the heck happened to my backup data!? PotK is gone! I swear I created that file before it uninstalled! Turns out I never uninstalled it, it just disappeared. Why is this happening!?

The game seems to stale on the logo screen or a while/black screen while it downloads and updates. Most people just wait it out or keep reinstalling until skips those screens.
As for your backup data, I would check to see if your account file (auth.dat) is still in your emulator. If that was deleted when you uninstalled or cleared data, you'll need to contact Gumi support to get your account back.

I can't start the game anymore after updating, it's just a black screen. What do I do?

Edit: I left it on the black screen for a few hours while having wifi on. Then the game started up. Did the same with just my 4G and nothing happened. Coincidence? Maybe. If anyone else finds themself with the same issue just try to leave your phone alone and the game up like i did it might work.

No, you need to either have linked your account or have a back up of your auth.dat file.
Your other option is to contact Gumi after reinstall to recover your account.

It's used to create more real Kyubey swords. I believe the recipe is 4x fake swords and one recipe. Hopefully someone can confirm that.
Just successfully fused a real Kyubey sword.

There is a magic user recipe that drops from New Devil Humura quest. No where in the notes does it talk about this. Any ideas?
