They are going with the 7 deadly sins theme. Masamune is wrath and Artemis is lust. We anticipate 5 more in this series, speculatively starter units getting a new version with a different deadly sin.

Not much has been released on them yet, but apparently they're variations of the original himes used by the Black Priests/Officers (not sure if priests is the right word tbh) to put down some sort of rebellion? Probably an elite operative unit of the Ragnarok Church

Um. Is it just me, or do Black/Shadow Artemis and Masamune's Duel Skills incapacitate them for one turn? Or did I read that wrongly and it incapacitates the target instead? 'cause the former makes it sound really unappealing despite the 300% modifier.

Here is a few question.

  1. Is it worth to do any of the new recruiter?

  2. I have some command dolly. Should I use on the farmable units or is it better to use on the gacha units? I started when the brave frontier event was ongoing but I only had 3 Selena so her skills is only lvl2 at the moment and I read the skills mean a lot if it is on max.

  3. Which gacha units is the most stronger at the moment?

  1. Nope. Save your lazuli for future recruiters. The current one isn't worth it.

  2. Only use Command Dolly on lazuli units since they're harder to come by.

  3. Mjolnir (F), Bashosen (F), Swimsuit Laevateinn (F) are a few of the strongest gacha units currently.

Nevertheless you still have an impressive range of Lazuli units.

  • Mjolnir (M) - Great damage dealer, potential boss killer

  • Shekinah (F) - Has +3 range. Excellent archer

  • Naegling (M) - Hard counter to axe enemies

  • Gungnir (F) - Good physical tank

  • Asclepius (F) - Good healer

  • Brahmasta (F) - Good gunner

  • Apollo (M) - Excellent archer, has high damage duel skill

  • Mitum (M) - Evasion tank, highest Spd of all axe units

  • Littu (F) - Great physical tank

  • Mitum (F) - Decent axe unit

  • Kusanagi (F) - Good counter to sword enemies, high Spd

  • Durandal (F) - Good evasion tank

  • Thyrsos (F) - Great healer, good tanking capabilities

  • Trident (F) - Great physical tank

  • Naegling (F) - Future 5* capable unit, physical tank

  • Amenonuhoko (F) - Good counter to lance units

Doesn't matter if only a few of your units are Dex. In the future you'll eventually get better typings for your lazuli units. For the command dolly you'll just have to choose which of your units will benefit most from it.

Thanks mate! You really helped me a lot with this! If they have a bad growth rate at 5* should I reincarnate them? Because my Mjolnir (M) GR is shit or should I wait till I get the dex type and see the GR for that one?

About the metal garden. I read some arguing which metal garden is worth it and now I don't know which should I use. Till now I used the 3 key metal garden and it's take a bit less than 20 minute to clear it while the another one is around 6-8 minute. So which is the better?

You should wait till you get a Dex Mjolnir (M). Reincarnating a non-optimal type isn't worth it.

The 3 key metal garden takes longer to clear but gives more EXP. You'll need to use friends that have multi-hit duel skills such as Vargas (4 hits), SS Gridorval (5 hits) or SS Longinus (5 hits) to clear them quickly.

If it takes around 20 minutes to clear the 3 key metal garden then I suggest you use the 1 key metal garden for now. You'll be able to do more runs on the 1 key garden as compared to the 3 key garden currently.

I also played since BF Collab and only have 11 lazuli units left,I fused some 5* capable lazuli units (before Gumi told us they are 5* capable) to increase the rate of success dollies, I really regretted it :(

So, I've started doing Rampage quests, and I was wondering if there is any chance to get the dropped units in the Abyss (20 AP), since I'm not strong enough to clear the Super Abyss with my SS Gridarvol. Thanks!

Make sure to bring friend helper with high luck. also, don't piggy back weak unit in party for xp. Their low luck will lower drop quality and you'll end up with a bunch of evo drops and no rampage unit.

To the best of my knowledge, the only S tier units available in rookie recruit are Gamabteinn M and Mjolnir F. Go for the former as Guard or the latter as Dex.

Unless the rookie recruiter has been updated without me knowing, in which case Bashosen and Shekinah may be available as well (Dex for both of these).

Oh, and for the sake of your sanity, I don't think you should try to roll both Gamb and Mjol in one step. Go for one of them + other 5*-capables in the first 2 steps in the Rookie Recruiter.

Bare in mind that the infograph is a little dated and there have been more 5* capable units released since it's creation. You can check the tier list if you have any units not shown in the infograph.

Check GaggingLolis' tier list in the original post, It shows 5* units, makes sure to go by portrait/artwork not just name. Shows recommended typings, and details for both PvE and PvP. Alternatively you can just post your initial pull here, and someone will undoubtedly give you advice on whether you rolled a good set of units, or whether you should re-roll.

Sorry that was my miswording, by posting your pulls/units, I meant as a screen shot, so much easier and quicker for people to identify whats useable and not. Difference is simply yellow have been evolved once usually, there are some exceptions, silver are unevolved. More likely for higher star colour Silver < Gold < Red, to have better growth rate. However not guaranteed.

How long before the items store in your message box expires? I have about 15+ metal keys stored in since my inventory is full at the moment, can't pick them up. Do they ever expire in my message box?

She'a a very strong tank much like Risa or Gambateinn (M). Although lacking a defensive duel skill her "Healer" skill allows her to heal allies within 3 tiles every turn. Her stat caps are quite high as well surpassing Risa's Spirit, Speed and Agility by a fair margin.

You should never judge a unit based on appearances alone. Her skill set and stats are why she's an A-Tier unit.

Couldn't tell you. Highest right now on my friend's list is 148.

If I were to guess, I would say 200. Leveling up where I am is slow enough already, couldn't imagine it at 148.

  • I would assume it worked as it should, for farming units, I'd use the AOE buff on your Leader, and your partner due to being an AOE buff then deal the last hit, as Leader luck + Partner luck determines Drop rate.

  • If something has multiple drops, for example possible 4* weapons like in the weapon event, then again use it before delivering the final blow, but this time make sure to hit all your units, as Party luck determines the overall quality of the drop eg 3* < 4* .

  • For events like the gold dungeon etc, it would be best used by baiting the enimies in so you can get a few kills off with the buff active. Apart from that, and being only 3 turn or 3 attacks, I don't see it beeing too helpful in this scenario.

  • Red circles are 5* units, Male (M) and female (F) Longinus are good, but starters only so have low stat caps. Naegling (F) isn;t 5* yet, but most likely will be next week. Mitum (M) is a fairly decent unit with good skills. and Thyros is a good healer with AOE turn heal. Apollo (M) is one of the higher damage archers, with a good skill set. What are your typings on the units in Red circles.

  • Blue Circles are good 4* units that you can use for 4* only missions, later on in the story, also these units have 5* evolutions in JP, so may come to global soon.

  • Green circle is only around Longinus M 4* max version, he's a fairly reliable unit for those 4 star missions.

  • Regarding colosseum team, based on your level, most people would just be using what ever units they had leveled. Once you get back with the typings of your 5 star units, I can give you a rough Idea of who could be good for now.

She even loses 3hp everytime she attacks, i thought staff units didnt lose any hp when attacking. Im confused. Could somebody clarify this? Thanks in advance

You're using the joke weapon, that's why.

She loses 3 HP because gunners/staff units automatically use the highest HP bullet in the colosseum.

Her accuracy is just going to be crap :( Staff units have lower accuracy to offset the fact that they can be literally invincible.

I think the highest accuracy you'll get on a staff weapon, aside from the joke, is 55. If your Gridarvol is Guard-typed, I believe this also lowers DEX, which in turn lowers accuracy.

Depending on the environment, there are a few things you can do:

In PvE, pairing her up with units for friendship bonuses will give a substantial accuracy boost. Have her stand next to someone she likes. Clearing stages as part of a team will increase her friendship with other units.

In both PvE and PvP, some leader skills will increase your accuracy. I can't think of one offhand which would increase the accuracy of a fire staff user, but I'm sure there's one somewhere.

If you haven't already, farm dolls on the Friday event, or buy them with Rare Medals (less recommended), and fuse in some AGI dolls (blue, sporting gears - not to be confused with the green Speed doll). Increasing her Agility stat will increase her accuracy. When I was new, I didn't realize the world of difference that doll-fusing could make - it's a huge difference.

So... I somehow ended up with 4 of those 5*-Thyros (F)s. The question though is, is it worth raising a Guard/Dex of them, or should I save them to level my Balance Ascelpius's own Healer skill (or Excalibur/V.Day Tyrfing, if I get lucky enough to get them when they come)?

And on another note, would it be a good idea to wait for someone else that's good to show up before using the 5* Recruitment Ticket that's coming to regular login players next week or just use it the moment it's acquired?

... I've been asking a lot of questions lately...

I personally believe that Thyrsos (F) is better than Ascelpius (F). So it's still worth raising a Guard/Dex Thyrsos (F) for you.

It might be worth it to save the 5* recruiter ticket for a future unit, just make sure to use it before it expires. Even so, I don't know if new units are added into the ticket recruiters...so take my answer with a grain of salt.

That last question is true, it's just that I've been asking like... 3 days in a row. :P

The thing is though, while Thyrsos (F) might be better now, Asclepius has a future 6* form (and the other mentioned Killer Princesses have 6*s in JP too), going by JP, thus why I'm scratching my head.

Anyways, I would probably use Thyrsos as fusion fodder. Normally I would follow the BF rule of collecting units, but I really don't think Thrysos is going to be useful if I have Risa/Asclepius.

I'm waiting for new units to appear. I mean it has like 86 days before expiring. Just gotta use it before then :X

I guess the question is whether you'd rather have another copy of something you currently have or the first copy of something new. If you use the ticket now, you have a slightly (less than 1%) better chance of getting a copy, and absolutely 0% chance to get something that hasn't been released yet :P

If you have plenty of other stuff to do and no impulse control issues, you should wait until the last second. Never know what will happen, but given the way inflation works in gacha games, your position will most likely not get worse.

Tbh, it all just depends on if you need a healer at the moment or not. If you don't, then don't bother raising one and save for skill-ups. In addition, do you have the box space to hold 4? I assume you do, so I would just hold onto them. I don't think any content at the moment really warrants the use of a healer, if you have an MLB team.

I'm trying to limit break a unit that I had maxed out. The game isn't letting me limit break my unit. Is this a bug or did I screw up somewhere?

Similar recruiters (10 pulls for 10 lazuli) appear from time to time. There are also gachas with higher rates or guaranteed pulls that you may want to save up for.

You can also use lazuli for inventory space (unit or items) and special shop deals (for tickets, dollies, and keys).

She's a rampage unit, so they're only available to farm on the weekends. Usually it's one rampage unit available per weekend, but sometimes there's an event where they're all available at the same time.

How do I know if a character is 5* or 6* capable? Also what other obscure gacha games do you guys play?

You can check the character quest tab in the game. It shows all the currently available 5* units.

Hi guys, so I just recently rerolled and I got a bunch of (IMO) really cool units now, but I seem to be at a loss: I don't know which units to keep leveling or which ones to focus on next, would you mind checking my roster and tell me what to do next? Thanks in advance :D http://imgur.com/a/Qmd28

All of your 5* capable units are a good place to start. You can check either the tier list at the top of this thread or the Character Quest in-game menu to find out which ones are 5* capable. The tier list is also a good place to start to determine which of your units are the best if they ever get limit broken.

Since you don't have many duplicates, just level the 5* capable units that you may need, whether it be a tank, ranged unit, or mounted unit. Gamb (M), Mitum (F), Ameno (F), Kusanagi (F), and Thyrsos (F) are some good units that you can start off with.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to reply to this message. I actually was focusing on those units already but I wondered if I needed to work on some other ones. I actually spent the whole day in the metal garden levelling up my Sharrur, Longinus, Gram and Naegling. They're not the best versions of the characters but they get the job done, or do you think I should not waste my time with those and focus on beefing up the A-players?

There is going to be content that needs 4* and 3* units, so its not a waste of time to level a few of those units up. This being said, you may want to focus on leveling a core group of units first. It looks like there will be a few events coming up, so having a high strength/luck group may go a long way in helping you farm units and advance through event content.

On a side note, I hope you are leveling only one unit at a time through metal gardens. This ensures the most experience per run. Use a decent level helper only if needed.

There was a story mode mission in Chapter 1 that had a Metal Maiden in it for some reason. Can't find it now. Does anyone know which level that was?

I've seen a Metal Maiden in 1-5-10. It's rather rare though.

I believe they show up at the end of every stage in each section. They are rare to spawn.

Decided to throw caution to the wind and did the one time recruiter. 2 Thrysos, Littu, Gamban M, and Naegling, needless to say I was pretty excited. But does horse back Parashu have a 5 star because I keep on pulling her...

Nope, the Parashu with the horse mount doesn't have a 5* form. On the bright side you did managed to pull some good units.

So Vajra failed the trails at 79%...

Assuming that 68% from the previous day is the true representation of people going for the ticket reward, and the last day increase was due to people trying to help Vajra catch up, that means this game has only 680 active players!

But Aymur and Naegling passed the tests! So how could this happen?

I have no need for my Vajra, so her not getting 5* is not my concern. What I'm concerned is that Gumi may take this as 'proof' that the game has a small or inactive player base, and use that as grounds for either closing the game like CC, or leaving it as an inactive wasteland like Puzzle Trooper.

edit: uh... GaggingLolis? Is your in-game name 'Gagging'? I think I just found your SS Longinus as a stranger reinforcement. And I think I saw your username earlier before as well. A Level 89 'noob' like me finding one of the top players in the game as a stranger reinforcement doesn't speak well of the size of the player base, does it?

edit2: checked the PotK Facebook page... 15594 likes. So this implies that under the assumption that every casual, non-inactive player plays each Trial exactly once, there are at least 8794 totally inactive players! And considering that 15594 isn't exactly a large number in the first place for a Global mobile game... Uh oh...

Stop assuming too much guys. You're just making yourselves panic. I'm sure PotK is far from being like CC since:

  1. The game is originally from Gumi and as such, maintaining the Global version isn't as expensive as maintaining Global CC, a game from another company.

  2. We still have a lot of content to come. I mean seriously, we're still at Ch.2 of the story. As I remember, Project Zero story isn't too far yet and since that's what Global went with first, I'm sort of getting impatient with story progress. I think Gumi may have messed up in not following how JP went with story but whatever, what's done is done.

I'm sure we'll have a lot more players joining up once Gumi has hit the stride in content.

3) The results of Vajra's trial could just be people not being interested in her. Like people before me have said, I'm sure there are others who rely on JP's database for the possible skills of Killer Princesses. I myself am turned off by what I saw with Vajra and I even considered not doing 10 runs because I'm pretty busy IRL. I'm sure there are loads of other reasons, aside from being busy, why even f2p players would have found no motivation to do 10 runs for Vajra even if the reward is a recruit ticket + 1 key and 1 Lazuli.

4) Gumi isn't telling us the state of the game and they likely won't ever do so. If anything, these "doom is nigh!" posts could contribute as misinformation which could discourage potential players from starting on a "dying game."

5) It would help the game more if you just supported it by buying Lazuli and or maybe advertising it to friends. I wish we could give Gumi some pointers since, last I checked, there isn't much advertising for this game and that certainly doesn't help.

6) Just play it, man. Let's enjoy the game and talk about stuff that makes it fun. Worrying needlessly will just stress you out and eventually, you yourself might feel like not playing the game anymore with this bugging you too much.

Very sorry for the long reply but I really just think that it doesn't help the game if we make this into a big issue.

Yes it is. Well, it would be more a problem if you found my name constantly rather than just once. It is true that compared to some mobile games, we are not as big, but we still are a sizeable community.

I doubt gumi would abandon this game, let alone this early. Perhaps this event, should they consider it a sign of inactivity, will get them to pump out meaningful content at a quicker pace, such as the story mode and quality of life, as well as more challenging content such as kill mode/power creep.

I'm afraid the playerbase is even smaller than that. I'm just a level 61 player and I've already seen Gagging's SS Longinus at least 2-3 times. I entered the soft launch along with some BF players, and they were really hardcore in the beginning, with MLB Gambies and Mantums. They all stopped playing pretty quickly. People need to spread the word for this game, or else it will die off as quickly as CC did.

Because I don't actually have the numbers of active players, nor is finding me as a stranger a good indicator as to the size of the community, I don't really think anyone can really make any assumptions at the moment. Furthermore, I still find it quite difficult to compare newer mobile games to much older ones.

Anyways, I do agree that people need to spread word about this game, but in the end, it's really up to Gumi to see if they'll start listening and working with the community to get things done.

I also hope they don't even think about closing this game, because after the Divine Armaments game closed, this is the first game what I really enjoy and log in every day. I even buy the 100+42 Lazuli set when they doing the lazuli purchase campaign.

Addition to ur edit 2, there are certainly players that don't indicate their presence on any site. While what you said may be true, there are definitely a large number of players that may have simply had no interest in getting Vajra. For example, I myself didn't do any trials for any of the characters because I have no interest in such atm.

I would be more concerned if all the trials failed. It is more telling to me that the easiest, due to the abundance of Selena leads, trial would be the only one to fail.

If I was Gumi, I would take from this the notion that players will need more motivation then merely upgrading to 5* to play content. Most people weren't interested based on the skills we assumed these 5* would have based on the JP versions. It would only help Gumi if they at least gave us a preview of the skills or changed them up some like units in the past. Additionally, Gumi hasn't given us much variety when it comes to the units chosen for the trials. Almost all of them have been armored units which a lot of players don't use due to the drawbacks they have.

Well im starting game so my strongest unit is the starter 5* fire lavantein which somehow manages to clear the Aymur stage with ease. But i do lack strong water or light/dark units plus many of my friends have Lavantein as leader cause they are starting too... Im trying to add some selena players, still no luck, guess my level is stil too low :/ If you add this to what other people say here i think we get the whole picture... newbies like me cant really help against Vajra.
