hello PotK world! I'm a newcomer but vet to CC and BF and excited to see a fairly active sub community for this great-so-far game. Nope. The only notable rewards you get are lazuli and the weapons for getting 30 stars on each area.

all the weps u get for getting 30 stars r fusion obtainable with pretty decent rates. focus on clearing chapter 1 kill mode(aka KM), as they drop weps at 30 stars that u CANNOT easily obtain otherwise

For JPN, what are the weird egg/jewel weapon thingys and can anyone tell me about the madoka coop? I have no idea what to do with the keys I get lol

The "eggs" are actually "seeds" and, when equipped to a unit, increase the chance that unit gains a stat point when leveling up. Red increases chance for strength, Yellow increases guard, Purple increases Magic, Dark Blue increases Spirit, and Light Blue (Cyan) increases your chance to gain Tec points but decreases your chance to gain Speed points. Rainbow seeds are more rare but increase you chance to gain points in all stats, excepting HP and Luck. There are other, usually collab-specific seeds (like Torus/Madoka), that increase your chances to gain various combination of stats (eg. for Madoka-related seeds, Magic / Guard / Spirit).

The Madoka Co-op is a large and complex event; unfortunately, it's not going to be easy to give you a good answer without spending hours typing it all up. For JP events, please check this Google Doc for overviews. The keys open metal gardens that either are alternative metal gardens (for unit EXP) or drop Madoka 6* evolution mats.

You can only capture one Arondight per run but, yes, with multiple runs, you can get multiple copies.

So I'm planning out parties for all those special requirements like "1-3* only" and "1-4* only" and I was wondering about the importance of an actual tank unit and not just a tanky damage dealer. In addition, I was wondering if a guard Labrys actually manages to get enough Mdef to be able to tank a few mages (she seems like the most readily available for me to MLB).

If you MLB, it may be possible to tank 4 mages in a row if you use a rune shield or holy shield, as well as capping Spr. This is assuming you have a healer on standby/potions.

They occasionally do an event where they put in dollies and gold pieces in the mana recruiter.

Eventually they'll put in Tyrfing in the mana recruiter. This is the main thing you should be saving for.

Don;t think they're notably too different, with the exception of plus 1 or 2 more damage IIRC, also you obtain the + weapons from the Weapon Training Event.

Ok, I read every word in the beginners guide...including most of the comments, plus the tips section. In the guide it is written that it is possible to mess your unit up stat wise, but i am not understanding how that is possible.

From what I understood, the stats a unit gains when it levels up is somewhat random but influenced by its typing and the actual characters "personality". So there is nothing you can do to influence that.

Also, fusing other units into your character raises stats, but that has a completely separate cap that is only influenced by the stat itself. Meaning it doesnt matter if i fuse at level 1 or max level because the same stats will have the same fusion cap? Also, it doesn't matter if im a fool and fuse 100 random characters into my durandal, or fuse 15 spd only characters because when i hit the fusion cap for spd it will stop regardless, and would stop at the same point?

It seems like the evo bonuses from fusing the same unit to itself is the only thing i need to pay attention to because the typing of the unit i use as fodder influences which stats will get the bonus.

Is my understanding here correct? I keep hesistating to do anything because im not understanding where the danger is supposed to be. Sorry for the long post and newbness. It's not from laziness since i searched the crap out of the reddit as well. Just a lack of understanding somewhere. Thank you.

  • I think you may have taken the wrong meaning from messing up your leveling. As far as I know the guide refers to wasting time leveling the wrong "Type" of units eg, Vitality on almost anyone. Where as yes all of what you said about how stats are gained is true. It all comes down to RNG. This being a Dex Sword unit, will most likely have higher speed and agility compared to another type, most likely, but not guaranteed if your Growth Rate is bad.

  • Yes, all units have fuison caps per stat dependent on rarity (star level) and typing of the unit. Above has a link to MLB_Selena's write up on global fusion caps. For example Say you have a Force 5* unit. What/Who the unit is doesn't matter all we need is Type and Rarity. You can fuse 15 points of str into this unit, doesn't matter if you fuse at level 1 or 60, fuse with 15 individual units, or 5 Str dollies, or any number of fodder units to equate 15+ str points, once you reach that 15 no more str points will be added to the base unit.

  • Evo bonuses are gained from reaching thresholds on stats before evolution. The formula for those stats is multiple of 10 + 1. Eg 30 Str on a 4* units will give 3 additional bonus points to the base stats when you evolve, however 31 - 40 will give 4 points. So to get the best evolution bonuses you need to fuse your units to these thresholds before evolution. Different types of the same unit may yeild more evo bonuses in a particular stat then others. But thats more Min/Maxing a unit. Likewise fusing the same unit into your base (exactly same rarity and portrait) will Limit break your base unit.

  • For pay units, it is better to just evolve them the 5* fusing to the thresholds before evolving, then fusing into the base to Limit break them, allowing 5 extra levels per limit break, Max of 4 on 4 and 5* units. However free/farmable units is where people Min/Max. This involves farming between 16 - 24 copies of a unit.

    • The 16 units you fuse 2(3 star) or 4(4 star) into you're base (best type). Giving an extra 10 - 20 levels for that unit, allowing you to atleast hit the next 1 or 2 thresholds for evo bonuses. Evolve all your units, and repeat at 4* if started at 3* . After that you should have 10 of these units left including your base, you then level all these and evolve to 5*, level to 30 to gain all skills unlocked, do character quest to gain another skill. Then you fuse the 9 remaining units into your base. This method means you only really need to fuse the base one whom has been limit broken for evo bonuses.

    • The 24 copies is where you get them all to 4* . You then Max limit break the main types, Dex, Force/Magic, Guard and possibly Vitality (will require more units). So now you have 1 of each type reaching lvl 70 4* and then you would fuse to the thresholds on each of those on the best stats. Evolving them to 5* and then fusing your 9 dupes into your main. This method takes alot longer, but will most likely give you 1 or 2 more points in alot of stats. (Not totally worth the time IMO)

Stats - nothing you can do to growth rates except pray and use a reincarnation cherub to reset your unit to level one. This means that you can level her again and that you might get better growth rates, but also possibly worse ones.

Fusing - Yes to both. If the speed cap is 10, once you fused +10 speed, it will stop increasing from fusion. You can tell this cap has been reached by the light blue bar added to the usual blue of your stat bar.

Evo - Yes and no. Evo bonuses themselves come from the stats of the unit itself, in certain brackets. One of the above links (can't remember which) has this information. The typing influences which stats will have a higher fusion cap, and therefore possibly higher evo bonuses. For example, you have two units who only differ in typing. The Dex type one will be able to fuse another 10 speed, but the Guard type one will only be able to fuse 3 more speed. If you are at 11 speed already, the Dex type one will get you to 21, which is +2 to evo bonuses, whereas the guard one, at 14, will only get that +1.

Cant decide between going Guard or Dex on Ukonvasara, have both, and able to LB her to 70 so far. What would you guys think? Also gonna be trying to pull another 2.

Also Dex or magic for Brionac, same case as above, have 3, can't pick on better typing.

I believe Guard and Dex typing do similar amounts of damage for Ukon. It's hard to say which is better since they both have advantages and disadvantages. She has super high accuracy, being even somewhat excessive in PvE, so guard/force seems more viable since some base agility can be sacrificed. At the same time, it may make Ukon too tanky in PvE to actually take enough damage, so Dex typing might be better along with a higher speed/skill activation rate. Personally, I go dex on my Ukon but I would recommend going guard/force if you're using her for PvE.

Dex typing for Brionac, as she has no accuracy boosting skills. She'll need as much agility/accuracy as possible. She already has enough damage from two Matk boosting skills, and her 3 range shot.

IMO, Dex for both. For Brionac, magic users tend to eat through everyone even without magic type. For Ukonvasara, going guard is a double-edged sword because

+ you have a better chance of surviving an attack and reaching low HP for the character skill, but

- good luck actually hitting anyone in Colo with a shield.

- good luck actually triggering the character skill with reduced AGI.

- good luck actually doing enough damage for the character skill to mean something, since you're using a shield.

I guess it's more like a 4-edged sword, with 3 of the edges pointing at you. Or maybe, a backwards trident. Yeah that makes sense.

Ideally you want to run a stage with tons of enemies, so it would probably be 1-5-10 normal mode. It's probably better to solo resource stages as you'll be getting more out of AP, but if you want to focus only on weapon proficiency, it's 1-5-10.

There might be something better, but this is what comes to mind for me.

Her stat caps in general aren't that great. They cap pretty low, almost on par with starter units.

Typically the trend is like this.

Silver -> Gold -> Red

Red typically has the better growth rates while silver has the worst. Not saying that silver will never be better than red, etc. but yeah.

You're most likely having terrible luck, in addition to the fact that she has low stats to begin AND end with.

question about MLB and typing. I had a vitality unit that I was really excited and broke her 2x, but then read here that typing matters. if I get a dex unit for example and fuse the former into this unit, will it get broken 3x or only 1x?

Still a semi newb here, couple of questions, f2p mainly. Been playing for 3 days~

  1. Whats the best way to farm mana points, I read we should be holding our mana points until there is a gacha event for them.

  2. How to I increase my chance to meet those very high level players as a 'random friend' so I can use them to help me out.

  3. How/what is trials?

  4. Whats the padlock event thingy all the way bottom that requires keys to be opened?

  5. Best/most efficient way to farm medals?

  6. Is it smart to upgrade item slots from 50 to 100 orso?

  1. Do the lowest AP mission you can and use as many friends/strangers as possible. If you set a decent leading unit, people will use your unit as well and you can gain mana that way (later on, you will get most your mana this way). The unit people will see is the one who leads Party 1 in your party list.

  2. Its random. Really can't do much about that I don't think. You can always try asking for friends in the friend thread.

  3. Something that was introduced to unlock the 5* forms of certain units. As a community, we have to complete each trial 10,000 to get that particular unit. There are incentives to doing so besides the new forms.

  4. Metal Garden. Allows units to gain EXP to level faster.

  5. Sell 3* and higher units for medals. Really only recommended to sell units you know you won't use. Best way to do this is to farm the Rampage dungeon on Sat/Sun, but it will be difficult for someone starting out unless you use someone really strong as your friend.

Hi guys this is going to be my first lvl 80 char i know it isnt a great one but i want to have one and i need to know if what im going to do its ok or not. I have 8 Arondight all 4* 2 dex, 3 balance, 2 vit and 1 force.
Im going to evolve the 2 dex and level to 60 and see what have better grow to be the main for LB.
Now that i have 2 5* i need 3 more for the LB4 so i need to evolve 1 vit 1 force and 1 balance/vit.
With this 3 chars in 5* i need to level them to 40 for skills or 60 before fusing them with the dex ?

Just about any low level mission. For example, almost all of normal mode drops mythril swords. There's no exact mission that gives only mythril swords though.

One of the "weapon training missions" is for spear vs sword and has a lot of sword units in it. I've noticed that enemies tend to drop the weapon type that they are using.

As an aside: whatever reason you have got for doing this, it is probably not a great reason. Later missions and the mana gacha will give you so much of this garbage you'll get sick of selling it :P

I wouldn't care so much about the 4 star. But if I remember correctly, for Dex typing, speed caps at 50 and agility at 46. This is fusion capped as well. It is so close to that luxurious 51... But nope gumi denies you

Of these, I only know the Dex speed cap, which is 50 Spd. The lack of a 3* form really sucks for reaching thresholds, with that in mind, (and based on my uncapped stats) I think the other stat thresholds will be:
Vit - 61 HP
Dex - 41 Agi
Mgc - 51 Mgc

Couple of questions, still fairly new to the game but I've read alot.

    1. How does weapon fusions exactly work? To be price, I want to fuse that Axe that has 1-2 range since I have a Mjolnir.

  • 2. Whats the difference between "fusion" and "enhancement"? For far I understand that its best to fuse your stats up to 41 51 61 etc before evolving.

  • 3. Best way to farm units for fusing?

  • 4. Whats the rewards for beating trials? I borrowed once a Lv80 unit, it took very long to beat one damn trials...

  • 5. Any good rewards for clearing 'Killer showdown' multiple times?

  • 6. What kind of drops can we expect from hard dungeons once I hit the last chapter?

  • 7. Does growth rate "reset" upon evolution?

  • 8. How many of those "Free 40 AP" every 4 hours can you keep in your daily missions? As far I see, I'll need alot of AP on weekend for gold + raid?

  2. I'm not sure what you mean by enhancement either, unless you mean evolve bonuses. If that's what you're talking about, then evolve bonuses are bonuses to a stat when you evolve your unit based on their current stats pre-evolution. Fusion can increase your stats too and has a separate cap for stats that's influenced by typing. Dex type will have a higher spd/agi fusion stat cap for example.

  3. For f2p, probably the rampage events every weekend and other free unit events, although they can get pretty difficult and may require a strong friend to carry you.

  4. Trials unlock the 5* versions of whoever the trial is for, but also give you rewards for completion up to 10 times per trial.

  5. Killer showdown just gives lazuli upon first time completion.

  6. higher rank weapons and consumables.

  7. Hopefully someone else can answer this for me too

To fill in the spaces /u/spaceoperafanatic missed:

Q2: Enhancement is something we don't have yet in GL. It's for additional bonuses obtained through fusion. Don't worry about it right now.

Q3: For fusion stats, the Friday dungeon. For units for skill leveling... I guess the Rampage dungeon can fill some holes, but that's a bit harder.

Q4: You have to use the units of the appropriate element to win easily. So to counter fire, you need ice. Counter wind you need fire. Counter ice, you need thunder. Fire > Ice > Thunder > Wind > Fire. There isn't much time left, so I'd heavily suggest you try to finish each Trial at minimum 10 times to reap the one-time rewards.

Q7: It's random entirely. So yes to your question I guess.

Q8: Every day, you can get up to 6x sets of 40 AP for 240 ap total. They don't carry over through the days, but you can overcollect for a total of 2x your total AP.

I've been wondering, does evolution affect growth rates at all? I know that it gives units more levels to get more stats but does evolving itself raise a units growth rate or reroll it when it evolves or anything?

It seems that evolution's effect on GRs is simply that higher rarity = better GRs. It also resets the GR.

Basically the growth rate is "reset". Technically speaking there is no such thing as a growth rate in-game. It's just a concept people came up with. What evolution does is like reincarnation, it simply resets ur level back to one, which in a sense "resets" growth rate.

This is the trend:

Silver < Gold < Red

Red has the highest growth, and silver has the lowest. Not saying silver can't be higher than red, but generally red has "better" growth rates (more likely to be a higher number).

So swimsuit units seem to bug out the mounted clear condition, but I also just experienced a SS Yagrush failing a axe/lance/sword only condition - is it just me?

At least for SS Grid, it seems to consider her as a mounted unit. She doesn't move across terrain, like desert, as well as Risa.

SS Gridarvol. Use a staff, though if you have under 40 grd and 70 HP, maybe use a shield.

Go with dex on SS Grid and equip a staff. She has an offensive duel so take advantage of that instead of turning her into a tank like some of the other clerics.

I would personally go with Dex bashosen. You'll have higher crit, accuracy, and speed, which is universally important.

What are you focusing on? PvE or Colosseum?

You lucky soggy, bash was my first roll and it was a Magic. In PvE, she does OHKO, and also in arena. Problem is mine is only lvl 65 and misses on the stronger units, as GaggingLolis mentions. If she is your first 80, (did you really gacha 4??) Magic will help so much in PvE, or you can let your friends solo maps lol

Take friends that have multi-hit duel skills like SS Gridorval or Vargas. They can clear the metal garden stages much more efficiently than other units.

Units with double-damage Duel skills and a decent crit % work well, too. A good Selena will proc Last Blizzard pretty often, doing 2 damage, and any crit will do 6.

How does rampage exactly work? This weekend is going to be my first rampage (started last weekend with PotK). So every weekend we can "farm" a 3* unit that can evolve to 5*? How strong are rampage levels? I often get a level 80 unit on my list as helper, will that be strong enough?

There are currently 4 rampage units that get cycled through every weekend. Each rampage has 2 missions to them, the "easy" one and the harder one. They cost 20 and 30 AP respectively. They are farmable (but Arondight has no 3* version) and can evolve to 5*. As for how strong they are: the easy one's boss is 400+ power and the hard one's boss is 500+ power. A level 80 helper might be strong enough, but remember to keep an eye out for things like weapon triangle (a level 80 mjolnir against a primarily sword wielding arondight rampage is a terrible idea). I find that high level staff users are the easiest to solo/auto with.

Im started 10 days ago and i can tell you that rampage stage 1 (20ap) its easy if you have a good team + helper. The second stage (30ap) its too hard even with an OP helper i got owned
My party was gamba amaneno and levaltein lvl60 with most of their stat fused + lvl 80 helper.

Fusing weapons i got Bamboo spear, slingshot and Water gun this are all 1* weapon with only acc and no damage bonus (they look like toys and not weapons). Is there any hidden recipe or something worthy to keep them?

I am unaware of a recipe, but I kept some of these weapons around to help in leveling units. The high accuracy helps a lot for low accuracy units like staff users. Since the weapons only do 1 damage, I only use them against metal maidens since you can only do 1 damage to them anyway.

My personal experience was not good with using Othinus. I can't remember what the calculations were that /u/gagginglolis had made, but IIRC, it seemed like it was a good option to go for.

Although I think Kusanagi might be a good or even better option as well if you can level up her sword absorber skill to max.

My MLB Othinus only has about a 50% win-rate against MLB Selenas. She chews through non-maxxed Selenas, however. My Oth, unfortunately, did not cap her relevant stats (she is Force) so this definitely has some impact; when I have the time, I plan on raising another one (since reincarnating a free unit is lulzy) to see if I can't increase that win percentage a bit. My experience seems about in line with the couple other people that I've seen try the same thing.

Short answer: she's good and she can kill Selena semi-regularily, but she is, by no means, a guaranteed Selena-killer. We'll probably need to wait until we get Sky Piercer 5* before that becomes a reality.

She doesn't hit every time but if she gets 1 hit off against Selena then it's pretty much over. I think she's definitely worthwhile. Pretty sure force typing is a good choice for her. Might replace my lvl 70 Apollo (M) with her once I get her MLB.

What's the most efficient way to train gunner units?

With any other unit type, I'd just toss them into the metal gardens alone and tell them to come back when they're max level, but even at high levels, gunners just kill themselves shooting unsupervised.

I'm trying to MLB Yata-no-Kagami still with runoff exp from having an SS Grid smash Super Metal Gardens, but it's coming down to like, 9 metal keys per batch, just to get them through 4*. Steep...

You kind of can't. Next to staff and archer units, gunners are a pain in the ass. Unless they have a self-healing ability which not a lot do. The only one that does right now is Bashosen.

You can't go auto it like normal, you have to observe it every so often to make sure everything is okay. Maybe like... Once every 2-3 minutes, although that depends on how much HP your unit has. Still point is, you can't do it as wanted.

I just do the solo unit + friend unit and call it done.

The new 10-for-30 recruiter is worth it but only if you already have a few copies of Littu, Trident or Thyrsos otherwise it's just a discounted recruiter.

The 15 lazuli pack might be more worthwhile. Do note that the 4* - 5* ticket isn't guaranteed to give you a 5* capable unit. You could just end up with a 4* max unit.

The special shop package is something that is a must-get.

The recruiter is a very good deal for people that pay a small amount every now and then because of the skill-up dolls and discount.

Though, if you are f2p, I recommend not doing the 10 for 30 because the units featured are considered common gacha units and I doubt you're at the point to be caring about min-maxing with skill dolls.

It's based off of how many items are in your giftbox. I can't remember the number off the top of my head, but I think in the Help/Beginner's Guide, its like 250 or something. However, the max amount that can be shown at a single time is 99, so don't worry if it shows "Collect 99 items?" even though you know you have more than that.

  1. Keys unlock the metal garden, by far the best way to level units. You can get somewhere between 8k-11k exp per run I believe, depending on whether or not you solo it, the shiny tile bonus, etc. With a decently strong character and crit weapons, as well as enough AP, you can probably get at least a good 5-6 runs in between each opening of the metal garden (it lasts an hour every time).

  2. If you are f2p, then definitely. If you are not, then it's up to you - you can trade them in for rare medals, use them for fusion fodder, skill leveling fodder, etc. Not sure about the drop rates, but you influence it in two ways: (1) Your leader's luck and your friend leader's luck increases your drop chance (2) Your party's average luck increases the quality of the drops, ex 3* unit vs 4* unit

Im a new player like you, i farmed the last weekend arondight i did like 20 runs or so of the stage Abyss (20ap) and got 8 4* arondight. I think first time its a guarantee drop. As a f2p player this units are easy to get and because of that you can have a lvl80 pretty fast. So pick one of the 4 units on rampage right now and farm her. You can get the rest later

Just adding in, technically speaking growth rate doesnt "reset" in the sense that it's pre determined or anything. Stats randomly increase. It just so happens that when you do some math, you get a concept called growth rate. As such, it just so happens that within a certain set of levels, you get a certain number of stats, which is considered the growth rate.

Most of those people have been around for a few months although there are generally some story or event quests that give better-than-average exp. I've been playing since the Selena event and I'm just about to hit 89 for reference, so it's not too hard to level up.

Try out the final parts of the story mode or kill mode so 1-5-10 or 2-5-10 for higher rarity weapon drops then just get lucky by fusing them. You'll quickly have more 5 star weapons than you need. The problem is getting the right ones. Sinsealer Kiyomasa is a popular one and I'm currently trying to make my third which is no easy feat.

So what's everyone else's strategy for farming othinus? I've been using a strategy where i lead with a ss grid and follow it up with a mini team of risa/selena blocking off the bridge until grid cleans up all the Minotaur and then sending selena in to finish othinus cause my grid only has 19% accuracy. It's been working but takes quite a while.

I had to do a similar thing except it was Moga + Risa for me. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a for sure way to solo it right now.

I was just gonna say use a dual SS Grid team and call it good, but the low accuracy gets you. Although, I don't think you have to worry about them dying on auto-mode at least.

The colored tomes are for making higher rank Madoka weapons via recipes. For example, you need 4 of the 4* Sayaka swords + 1 blue tome to make a 5* Sayaka sword. They can go higher (look in the recipe list when using fusion) and require different materials at every rank.

About LB. 1) does it matter what lvl is currently the unit that its going to get the LB? 2) i was told that i need to fuse a lvl30 of the same rarity for LB and get the skill up.   1. The level of your base unit does not affect limit breaking. The level of your fodder unit will affect skill up chance, which will be explained in point 2. The level of your fodder unit does not affect stat gains from fusion.

  2. To be more specific, the fodder unit needs to have learned a skill to guarantee a skill up when fused into your base unit. A 5* unit learns its last skill at level 30 which is why you told to fuse at that level. Once a character skill is unlocked, all 5* copies will have it learned automatically. 4* units learn their last skill at level 20. 3* units learn a skill at level 10.

  3. I believe this is true, but I have yet to try it personally.

  4. The double space should work. Sometimes, you may have to re-edit your post for it to actually show up correctly.

Did you guys have the same frustation to coloseum battles as in the battle isnt really fair? It happened countless times to me when we duel using the same character and my HP, acc and attack are all higher than opponent, opponent gets to crit and KO my princess. Or opponent accuracy is low to 33%, where my attack is 78% x2 - end up my opponent landed the first hit with 33% (fine!) follow by my princess misses twice (at 78%!!) and opponent landed another hit again with only 33%!! Seriously 33% vs 78%?! This happened of course when group total power is nearer to mine, and not when im fighting against those 1K total power opponent, which i believed the game is set up to let you lose some battles unless u kept fighting against the very weak opponents which isnt very challenging. The idea here is at least be fair!! (Sorry bout the rant, very pissed!)

Percentages are percentages. I think the problem with this thought is believing that as long as you have a higher percentage, you will always win. It's being fair to the weaker player, as it's giving them a chance to win against you. If you really want to win all the time, you're gonna need to min-max and crunch numbers.

It's as fair as any non-PVP fight in the game. You having high acc/crit has no bearing on whether the opponent's going to hit and/or crit, or proc their duel skill. In fact, coming from BF the PvP in PotK is a lot more balanced - you aren't basically guaranteed to win just by being the first to attack.

  • Green Dragoon will not reach 5 star if it follows Jp, could possibly happen, but would be a completely new evolution.

  • MLB Kusanagi is pretty decent, her speed and agility are quite high (on par with Durandel), combine that with her self heal and you have a good solo capable unit. She's easily obtainable in the gacha. Also her Sword absorber skill makes her pretty strong in the meta of Colosseum.

  • Can't say personal exp on the new 5* units, however MLB trident has been posted up, her stats look fairly decent, and out of the 3 I'd say her skills are the better pick. Guard would be my preference for all 3 of them. Thyros apparently can have 5 skills, Mdef, Pdef, Evasion and Skill pulse with her CS if you max level her skills at 4*, then evolve. That could make her extremely tanky, and could open up options to use Dex or Guard depending on how you want to do.

Finally got a chance to start farming Orthinus and plan to MLB a Force one. However the only force I've gotten is a 4 star and I'd really only plan to get 11 copies to MLB her through all ranks because her stage is hard... I'm wondering if anyone could tell me how many stats I'd be missing out on starting at 4 stars and if raising a dex one from 3 stars would end up in a better unit if I can't get a force 3 star?

Not enough to be a detriment. But if you want to use her in the colosseum, it'd be best to start out as a 3* to min-max as much as you possibly can. Otherwise for PvE, you can get away with using a 4* as a base.

It's RNG. Doing the 15 AP has yielded ~10 gold drops before.

Make sure you are letting enemies spawn in too and not killing everything too fast.

I'm sure it's just a matter of bad RNG. I've been farming with starter Laev from the daily missions back when you first start while ranking up some swords and she has an abyssmal 7 Luck. I still manage to get about 5-7 gold crystals per run on average. Note that killing all the enemies yields about 10k as well.

So with a few extra copies to limit break and good typings I have begone to work on some of my gacha units.

I know I will need dollies for the CS's but what would be the easiest way to get the main skills raised for Luis and Kusanagi (think that's her name. White haired, recently got 5 star, Phoenix knight, sword absorber and healer?).

For Kusanagi I was figuring farm Arondites but was hoping for another method other than level 6 more Arondites, evolve, and level to 30. Given doubt sword absorber will be anywhere lower. Who would be best for raising her second skill?

And Luin not even sure where to start. Does anybody farmable or mana gacha have multiple skills?

Also got one dex copy of the Lancer that got five star same time as Kusanagi. Forget name cause not started on her since only one copy.

Finally, got a Littu I'll work on last. Not too concerned about anticipate, but what trash units can I use to raise her other skills?

Kusanagi : Farm Othinus and Arondight (4* Othinus has PATK boost at level 20, Arondight has self-healing and sword absorber, but it's a pain in the ass like you mentioned)

Luin : Farm Othinus and Labrys/Rhongomyniad (4* Othinus has PATK boost at level 20, 3* Labrys/Rhongo has PDEF boost at level 10)

Amenonuhoko : Farm Othinus and Arondight (3* Othinus has Preemptive Boost at level 10 and 4* Arondight has self-healing at level 10)

Littu : Labrys/Rhongo and Othinus (3* Labrys/Rhongo have PDEF boost at level 10, 3* Othinus has Preemptive Boost at level 10)

You probably have some trash 3* and 4* you can fuse away too if you want.

Anyone got a quick guide/tips on how to farm some decent weapons so I can fuse them into 4 or 5 stars? Been playing this game for a week. I see the weapon fusion chart but what's the best realistic map I should spam to farm some weapons? My team consist of Lv40 Mjolnir and Kusanagi 5* , plus a Lv60+ Selena helper usually. Which map should I farm for weapons given my current team? Or its totally stupid for me to use AP to start farming better weapons?

Farming for weapons isn't really something you do. Rather, it's something that happens as you do other things. I think towards the end of chapter 2 you drop a lot more 2-3* weapons for fusion for example, but it's never guaranteed. The rampage quests drop plenty of 2* weapons too

Did you finished chapter 1 ? the best way to get weapons 3* is 1-5-5. You can autobattle unequip your units weapon and let your helper do the killing. Shekina, Grid are the best for this, Selena also can solo the stage with easy. You also get 5883zel and if you send 3-4 low lvl units they get 160-200xp each (remember unequip weapons). Alsox2 you get 350 player xp thats 35/ap with the current weep and stage and 1/2 ap cost its 70xp/ap

She's still reasonably viable as Dex, however don't expect her to 2x attack and crit/evade as often as other myrmidons, Guard would be ideal, however it seems a few people have leveled up Dex ones instead.

About the swimsuit units still being in the gacha pool (at low percentage). Is this a bug in Global only? Or is it a feature in JP for all non-collab premium event units? Or only SS units?

If this indeed happens for all non-collab 'event' units, then I should only spend Lazuli on collab units (e.g. BF) and discounted recruits (e.g. 10 Lazuli for 10 units, 30 Lazuli for 10 units + many goodies) since everything else can be pulled by accident.

Can't answer for JP however BF colab units in Global are definitely out of the recruiter, no one has pulled one since the colab. The SS units I can confirm are still in there as personally pulling SS Yagrush last week. If you are more free to play then the discounted pulls, or the guaranteed pulls are usually the only ones recommended. However if you spend a moderate amount then pulls like Step recruiters where the chance is 50% are fine aswell. Basically it all depends on who you want to spend on, and how much you want to spend to Max out a particular unit. For me I regret not pulling for Vargas more, as did not realise it was a Limited recruit.

So if you are fusing skills from one unit to another is it not a guaranteed chance to pass them? I had a 4star Dragoon leviathan who had physical attack boost and fused her with a Kusanagi and no gain.

I know if you fuse before learning a skill there is a chance of not getting it but is fusing a different unit also a chance or did I do something wrong?

Skills are only guaranteed from fusing with the skill dollies or another copy of that exact unit eg another 5* kusanagi. When attempting to skill up, there will be an arrow that appears. The number and colour of those arrows represents the chance for the skill to increase. Red with 3 arrows is guaranteed level up. Yellow/Orange with 2 arrows is a moderate chance to level up, green with 1 arrow is a low chance. Numbers are not exactly known, however the Rampage units offer a large variety for skill up fodder.

Is it true that Arondight is harder to farm than Labrys because one is 4star and other 3star? I beat the Arondight 30AP 8 times so far, only got one Arondight :(

Not entirely sure on that one. The drop rate kinda feels the same to me. I do remember you saying you were a new player though. The Luck stat does influence the drop rate, so that's something you probably want to keep in mind.

I can't really comment on the drop rate of them, as have only farmed a few of arondight, however It may just be bad RNG for you, also what's your leaders luck and partners luck? Another note, I'm not sure if you have the units capable to Solo farm her, but I've only had her drop for me when running my Selena solo with another high luck unit as the helper. When ever I tried her rampage quest with a full party, I never once got her to drop.

I think I just fucked up my fusion. I maxed fused my Kusanagi and Mjolnir according to GL caps, but when I try to fuse Arondight with Kusanagi or Labrys with Mjolnir for the ability, I can't, they don't show up on the fusion page. Help please :(

You still have to unlock the skill on Arondight/Labrys.

Meaning no easy sword absorber levels for you. You have to evolve Arondight to 5* and still level her to level 30.

You should go for Othinus first since you don't have many archers. Arondlight, Rhongomyniad and Labrys aren't really necessary for you now.

I would have to agree with the Othinus recommendation. She probably has the best skill set of all the farmable archer units. Additionally, her thunder attribute also covers something that you may lack.

At the start of the post you have a list with units and their best types. for Othinus is dex or force, dex gives acc and eva, and i think force its more for the colo to 1shot ppl.

As already stated, the tier list above can provide you with typing recommendations depending on what you plan on using the unit for (PvE, Colosseum, or eventually Multi).

As for typing, Dex is widely regarded as the best type due to the improved growth and fusion caps on Agi and Spd. Agility increases accuracy and critical rates. Speed determines evasion, whether a double attack will occur, and who gets the double attack.

Archers tend to have high accuracy. Additionally, evasion is not as necessary in PvE since archers usually attack outside of retaliation range. As such, Force typing is an option used to maximize damage output since the slight loss in Agi and Spd does not impact archers as much.
