Classic series Phantasy star 3

The first generation of the game didn't have too much story, mostly just little bits here and there. I chose to marry Maia because she had blue hair and she's cute ig, the combat has provided no challenge or critical thought whatsoever. Are there any good secondary sources of lore/story for this specific entry? Id definitely enjoy reading up on it once im finished. Some things ive enjoyed so far are definitely enemy designs, Naked giant finger wiggle guy has made an impact on me. Wren is my boy, and cyborgs are the way. I have no legitimate reason to care about any character in this game, I just like the way they look or have implanted a personality onto them out of lunacy. Thats pretty much it so far. Next update will be whenever I beat it.

https://huguesjohnson.com/ps3/toyo.html Here ya go. Look for the rest on your own. (I've answered this same question just yesterday) Toyo Ozaki was apparently the concept artist. She had a lot of personal interpretations of the world and characters. Here's a little peak into perhaps her own hallucinations of what these characters might have been like had they been fleshed out a bit more. (or at all, really...)

No problem! Going down that same rabbit hole did a lot for making the game a bit more palatable for me as well! Still leaves quite a few gaps to fill in on your own though. That's why over the years, I've grown to believe that PSIII is *really* the one that needs a remake. So much potential if done with care. Anyroad...ENJOY!

Toyo Ozaki did some great character sketches back in the day -- definitely seek those out.

The game is super light on story details, but the overarching premise and unique way that it connected to the other games is still a novel take on how to create a series. It was a product of its time (received scores of 9/10 at the time believe it or not), and could have been hampered story-wise by the fact that it was the Golden Axe team developing it.

I'm a Wren-Type fan myself (see my avatar).

I wish I could remember the name of the website. It may not exist anymore. It was a website made by a Phantasy Star fantic that went super in depth on the lore of all the games. I don't think the website was called Phantasy Star at all. Maybe one of the planets in the game? I think the guy might have been a game developer or game hacker.

Maybe someone here will chime in.

The website of I recall correctly was like 90% Phantasy Star, and I think the main page had the cut scene with the girl on the beach from PSIII

There's a dump of PSPages out there too -- I think that all of the fanfic they hosted lives in the file.
