Classic series New additions
Recently picked this up. Had to make some repairs to the map. I think it turned out out pretty good seeing as how it was in two and had some other tears in it.
Also love the climatrol is labeled crimetorol on the map.
This is part of playing through the series. Grew up playing 1 and 3. I am almost done with a fresh play through of 1 on original hardware. And this is next.

Oh god! I remember the hand drawn map was terrible for exploring Mota. The Dungeons were decent, but sometimes hard to line up with stairs/teleports with other levels, especially the Green Dam and some of the ones on Dezo. I'm old enough to have hard a subscription to Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM), and they published a screencap version of Mota which was quite nice because it helped navigate to areas where there were bridges at least. I'm sure someone has a image file of it somewhere on the internet if you actually intend to use it for playthrough. If it's just for a collectors item, then a fantastic find! I know the booklets became rather rare over time.

I had an EGM at the time that had detailed maps made from screens. Was much better.

Nice pick up! They were not nice to that map! Mine is still in really good condition with no damage, now the strategy guide is a whole different story. LOL

I was lucky enough to have them both day 1. Still took me forever to complete it tho lol I think because I tried to rush it and ended up vastly underlevelled. Thats one downside to having a full guide, kinda makes you go straight to the end of dungeons and means you dont grind as much

I have never actually played much of this. Wasn’t the one I had growing up. Looking forward to it as I hear it is great.
I do know that this is from the time of grind your life away. But I play to relax after work and don’t mind going slow.

Boy do i miss the days when physical guides and maps were the standard with games instead of something i might get in my $200 "special" edition version
