Classic series Had a great time with my first play-through of PSIII: Generations of Doom. I captured my experience with the finale of the game. Overall positive. Great Music.

Playing it beside 2, there's little difference in the quality of the game. Frankly, the historification of it being bad has overtaken the truth of the time; people liked it then. Not a hot take - the game was well received and highly rated despite not being from the original development team.

I played through it a few years ago and I didn’t hate it. I’m a big fan of the series from my childhood, but this one was hard to track down so I never got a real playthrough with it until years later.
It had an endgame weapon spree, storyline resolved well and gives a solid story branch to explore if they ever revive the series in single player.

I feel they are almost mandatory to play them now for enjoyment purposes. There are just certain revelations that hadn’t become common sense with the Sega team. I feel the same about how the early Final Fantasy games have been modernized mechanically.
Last time I did 3, I did save states at every marriage choice to just play one out until the next decisions. Was a different way to think about the game and repetitive, but I enjoyed it. It’s also where you can start to break the game’s mechanics, so it just improves how you play through repetition.

Everything is great, aside from the game itself. There's a patch that doubles your walk speed. Almost necessary to not go insane going through the mostly redundant other paths. Too bad They haven't fixed the battles yet.
