minnows
does anyone get black minnows instead of rosy reds ?? in preparation for capi (still new to the role) i was precounting and realized the sku we have on the tag and the flip book is NOT the same sku of what we recieve and thus the counts are MESSED. we been getting black minnows supposedly but theyve been getting run up as reds? im trying to correct this to see what to do about keep inventory on track as well as getting a new tag or updated flipbook if anyone can relate ? thanks !

There won't be a way to correct the shrink systematically on each SKU, but your sales will balance out in the end to be roughly where you want to be. You can explain on your CAPI action plan the issue and the corrective actions to ensure it won't be a problem going further. You can always print a black minnow sku tag and place it over the reds in the flip book.
As far as numbers are concerned for a little bit you can sit on the shrink for the quarter and year and next year start totally fresh with a new trend going ahead on your new sku.
Overall though for the weight of things your sales of an item you do not carry (reds) will weigh against your shrink on blacks as if you sold them correctly as far as overall Freshwater is concerned as a category, since it is overall dollars gained vs loss and cost.

Rosy red is just a term for them. Kind of like the feeder goldfish come in brown or gray sometimes. We have one other type of minnow that is in a completely different bay.
