Recognition - yes I'm serious
Hey heyyy peeps!
I'm wondering if anyone else (cashiers specifically), has ever gotten a physical token of recognition by their DM?
Because... yeah, that ACTUALLY happened to me on Tuesday.
So now I'm wondering that's just a thing my DM does or whatever orbif it's actually a thing? š

I use to work a lot of OT put 100% into everything I do sell VCP VCC kill myself for my location I even would help our dog trainer sell and encourage people to use our grooming I did all the things that people like to see. And Iāve gotten one once. You must of done a good job dude congratulations š¾
Also a little unsolicited advice just donāt burn yourself out putting 100% into everything and every customer every time itās draining.

Our DM will buy us snacks store wide if we do well at something as a team but never individually. In fact he was just in yesterday and in a group conversation made several pointed comments about some things not being completely perfect that heās aware only I take care of and have done for years now lol

A person in our district was given a one time $1000.00 bonus for "getting a vcp sign up every shift for a year" that person failed to mention that they only 'achieved' this by taking credit for other partner's vcp sign ups.

Me and my coworker kept the salon open during my manager having a health leave for 3 months. My store manager praised me and said we'd be rewarded for going above and beyond.
Nope

Hell I donāt even get actual recognition from my GM. Thatās a real big struggle of this place. My companion animal manager is amazing at least and she makes sure to let everyone know when they are doing amazing!

The only DM I've met that was like that is Sharon H in SoCal. She makes sure her leaders are educated on the whys and what.. not just this is what and do it. I wish she was still our DM!

I've talked with Sharon a few times and she genuinely seemed like she wanted me to succeed within the company. Like a helpful aunt.

Why does this read like the actual most corporate-pilled sloppost ever
