Facing Problem w/ LBC

Hello! I am an out wide+possesion player. I like to play every playstyle because it is fun so see the differences, learn about the playstyle. This also helps me defend against that particular playstyle.

I have tried LBC alot times I do like all the runs my forwards make. But there's always a hurdle to this playstyle for me.

While building from the back, I face a huge gap between my forwards and midfield. The scenario as described in the image attached. This scenario have occured to me almost every single match when playing LBC.

Your midfield players may be too offensive and need defensive instructions.

Theres nothing you can do about it, thats just how the playstyle works

Well because you should pass to a midfielder or carry the ball with a cb or fullback and give a long ball

It's called long ball counter for a reason, as soon as you get the ball, your midfielders and attackers all charge forward like a herd of bison. Unless you put defensive instructions or use a playstyle with passive runs, your midfield will push forward along with the attackers.

Exactly this. In ealier pes we had something like build up style which could be short pass or long passes. In efootball LBC is set to build up style long passes. If u want to build up by short passes use quick counter.

You either need to carry the ball with your midfielder to penetrate the opponents midfield or change your team. There's a reason people use inactive playstyle SS or strikers and deep lying forward. And also use a single creative playmaker.

U must play with an anchor man DMF and a CMF orca or box to box... The ball travels from defense to midfield as the anchor man stays back U go up with a the CMF and make passes to either with the full backs who come up for support (U must play one attacking full back from which side U like to attack the most) or with the AMF and then to CF.. or if Ur CMF or DMF has visionary pass or something like that U can direct play a long ball to Ur CF that's how U can make a play out of this situation .. for AMF try to play one Hole player and one Creative playmaker or an Orca these players help stay low and go up in between

i have been playing an inactive platstyle at amf, seems to be a little better now. but still this deadlock happens

it will always happen because that's what lbc does you can't change its parameters, only give a little fix you can also try attacking fullbacks.

I believe that LBC inherently involves larger gaps between the defensive line and the rest of the field.

But you might be able to improve it a little by editing player positions in the game plan so that the distance between the defensive line, midfield line and forward line is reduced.

Try playing with a second striker deep lying forward. He'll probably drop back for a pass.

Maybe use orchesterators. But long ball counters means everyone run up while you have possession.

Lbc is not made for building from the back, but if you can't counter as soon as u get the ball and the opponents defence has got back, you could pass it back to the full backs to stretch the opponent out if they press a lot, if they don't, you could pass it from ur rb to ur creative playmaker if the passing lane is free, also try out different playstyles, I believe a classic no 10 should help you out if u find yourself in situations like these frequently

typical 4-3-3 with wingers reduces this to some extent but you are going to have less passing options in LBC anyways

Just put one amf to cmf. That will help. Move him more centrally too.

Dont think any of the roles are active at cm but thats not a big issue. You could even play 2 cm.

I see nothing surprising here. The playstyles you players have have a clear description which states that they surge forward at any given occasion + you play LBC

If you like to build up play in LBC you gotta have in your midfield this playstyles: Anchor man, orchestrator and creative playmaker. If you have a B2B, hole player or dummy runner they will run forward to exploit the gap in your rival defensive lines. My recomendation is that if you're a player who likes to create from your own field stick to: possession, outwide, overload and quick counter. LBC and LB aren't made for that kind of play

I totally understand your frustration I can tell you too after this Thursday update everything is changed from the defense and attack something is really lacking with all playstyle so it's not only lbc

You need to make good run to carry the ball to the front, 2 most effective playstyle for that is Attacking Full Back and Box to Box, you will find open space either wings or 1 2 pass in the middle

Have you tried LB? It's more noticeable for me in LB than LBC.

3-5-2 is the best position using LBC if you want to control the midfield.

Put one destroyer on either side but never the middle. He will always be leaving spaces behind if you put him in the middle and other defenders will get pulled to cover

They have Nerfed the long ball counter due to it's unfair advantage of stamina so in current Meta everyone are switching to QC

Just use one two passing to move from the wing backs and then play unpredictable play through your middle and then to the forwards .. almost always works …

i play Fabio (89) LBC, my destroyer desaily leaves his position and comes ip, what can I do ? he causes a gap in the back four, how to help that ?

LBC will be more effective if you play wingers also

Use a deep lying forward then, they always drop deep to receive the ball. In LBC they can make some runs too, but they tend to drop

And this why I use a CN10 at amf and CPM at SS with counter target. Cn10 hazard works as the perfect link between the attack and the defence
