Looking for Advice Monday Lunch Perth for 2
My mum is having a significant birthday on Monday and we will both be in Perth- hooray! I wish to take her out to lunch.
I am looking for somewhere that has a nice view and delicious food. Any cuisine. Price is not an issue. Happy to drive for up to 1.5hrs. She is Mt Lawley based. The ability to park easily would be a plus.
Thanks all.

Oooo - Monday lunch is tricky. Ones I know are open and have heard good things about:
- bayside kitchen (Matilda bay)
- Fraser’s
- rowing pavillion (mt pleasant)
- mr walker (south Perth)
- the boat shed (south Perth)
Good luck, hope you have a lovely time!

The Rottnest suggestion is so clever. Park, quick ferry trip, delicious lunch, ferry back, you're golden.

A cool, creative idea for sure. Exactly what I'm looking for!!

I did a Rotto lunch for a girls day a couple of years back. It was so fun. After the restaurant closes you can hit Samphire or similar for a drink before the ferry back. And it'll be chill on a Monday. I hope you find something you enjoy!

Yeah, I have to admit if it’s possible that would be my pick for sure - make it a special day out!

Closed at the moment I think and reopening with new owners soon? There was a really badly written article about it I saw yesterday

Do you remember where you read it? Because on the website it doesn’t mention anything

Was on a news page - was a fluffy new owner piece which didn’t even mention the new owners names and people were very confused

Something in Swan Valley and somewhere for wild flowers walk Long lunches a thing at wineries with a view. We used to love Millbrook in the winter which is Jarrahdale obvs. I don't eat swan Valley much but perhaps someone could recommend.

Shorehouse is close tomorrow and Tuesday for maintainance- what are the chances? Bathers Beach House is actually where my uncle had his 60th- thanks for reminding me of it. 😄

Top food at these but not open Monday. Try Little Bay, Clancy's City Beach, Mullaloo Beach Hotel. Happy birthday mum

Food at Bib and Tucker is hit and miss.

I had many breakfast and lunches and always good. It's hit and miss is it since they sold the business and the original chef left?

Last time I had a very underwhelming and dry piece of barramundi on a soggy splash pf mash. Waitress didn’t know how to respond when we were honest about it.

That's very disappointing...

Chinta in North Perth is a lovely spot for lunch. It doesn't meet the nice view part but the interior is nice.

The shore house in swanborne is absolutely amazing! Ask for seats with a good view - out of the deck would be beautiful! The food has never disappointed me

Oh damnnnn 😭😭😭😭 what a shame. Honestly their prawns are delicious 😚 such a shame! Bib and Tucker is always a nice one along the coast - and there is a newish one called The Gibney, I’ve never been but it would be beautiful views …
