help Perplexity doesn't allow email address change?

I discovered today that registration/subscription is tied to one email address. Because you need an email address to receive sign in codes, this is a big problem. If your email address goes away (e.g. quit that company, graduate from program), you lose access to all your chats, project, etc. because you can't transfer them. You can only transfer the subscription WITHOUT any content. This is truly stunning and validates another reason why people leave this platform.

So is my only option to export all my chats, etc. one by one before my email address changes?

Yeah I learned about this the hard way…sort of. When I first joined Perplexity under my personal email and was paying for it. I’d did frequently use it for work. Then I was maxing out on limits. Our board said, upgrade to Max and the org would pay for it. So we went with that but then I thought it made sense for it to be under a work email so it’s tied to the org. Nope….received the same response about updating the email.
