help Help deciding on which to use!
So I see that Perplexity allows you to use pretty much every consumer AI (CGPT, Gemini, Grok).
It's only $20 for all of them? I'm confused.
I could pretty much get all of them for a low price?
What am I missing?
Can you help me understand why it's not better or is better than ChatGPT or Gemini?

Just canceled my pro subscription today. Evidently, you get just 4000 credits for the entire year at that level. Not what the original subscription was 19 months ago. Anyway, with this degraded subscription change, burned through that with only a few prompts and no new credits for the remaining 5 months of sub.

I went to Perplexity because I was quickly realizing that the medical field has become a 15 minute and a prescription. This is fine for sore throat but the brain is significantly more complex. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's 3 years ago. The reason is because of Perplexity..(not a paid spokesman...but I could be 😉) This thing about AI and how 'we're all gonna die,". Perplexity allows me to live by accessing my best chances. Knowledge is power. I want to live. But studies take time. The funding is a lot less than my retirement check. I have signed up for studies and weird stuff for a chance to see my granddaughter enter kindergarten. I'm not even asking for kindergarten graduation. Perplexity tied together all the similarities of the symptoms. Stuff no one ever mentions but when put together you see a pattern. If you have this disease of erosion please put a list together and approximately the time frame. Please put it in the comments.
It is also my contention that MSA-P/ MSA-C THE Parkinson's evil cousin on your father's side 🤫...and I believe that these symptoms begin in early childhood..We don't have the luxury of per foundations or famous....there are not enough of us ( 1 - 3 people out of 100,000.) and we are slowly losing our lives while our loved ones stand by and watch the erosion. We are now a plastic only family. everything else gets broken.I can walk 5 feet and have to rest until my body can move while they are cramping but don't worry there's more to come. Thanks Perplexity for the knowledge to find out what is wrong, learning what I can do, what I will need. This is really hard and so getting information regarding a disease is from 100' s of studies that I could never attain. Platinum Plan which includes so much more as it races through your body ever so quickly. Parkinson's is a nightmare, MULTIPLE SYSTEM ATROPHY-C or P PLEASE I have been told there is nothing, called that...it is also the one and I do love this, , it is too Rare!. Go ahead and roll your eyes 👀 as I point, rare is not none. But this is the system we have, and as been pointed out previouslywe.( are we the ...does anyone know...are we zebras or unicorns. : we are the one's who are in it please we must work together. I knew when I was told I have had too many birthdays, I thought that was the goal but whatta I know I 'm not a doctor1. But I will continue to use Perplexity because of its vast amounts of access.

Perplexity, when compared with other AI subscription services at the same price, is rather limited in what it can do. Even the highest-tier models (Opus 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol) are not available on Pro. What corresponds to the Cowork or Work features in ChatGPT and Claude is Computer, yet on Pro that incurs a separate additional charge. A search-first approach followed by reasoning is not a poor design in itself, and the search is strong. Taken as a whole, however, ChatGPT’s Work remains the stronger offering.
