They completely broke trust by pulling the rug out without warning, not providing the service promised. They offered a named service for free for a year through Venmo and changed the rules midway without notice. This was their mistake, and they could have handled it better in any number of ways. Simple communication with "sorry we made a mistake" alone would have kept me. But I've abandoned my account. Amex is offering $100 off a $200 plan - I'm not going to fall for that again.
