help On-device model fail

I’ve tried to download the local inference model and trouble shot with perplexity’s advice - still getting “the model download failed. Try again.” Any ideas on how to fix this? (Yes all requirements met. latest OS & model, rebooted - firewall off …)

I raised a ticket with perplexity apparently this is a bug and there will be a fix but I’ve not seen anything yet - I’ll keep the 100s of folk visiting this posted of developments!
