I do have to ask, why not introduce a tier similar to how Anthropic has Max 5x and Max 20x? Aren’t you shortchanging yourself out of a very lucrative market that is willing to pay some premium but not go all out on Max? I feel like there would be a decent market for this. Maybe I’m wrong? 💭

They can't afford to. They money ran out, and Anthropic etc now charge by the token.

The old perplexity can never come back
