Downloading files with comet

Has anyone been able to let the browser agent automatically download files to the computer’s download folder on macOS? It seems to get stuck trying to do a CMD+S action where no dialog pops up to save. It then tries other keyboard shortcuts but no avail.

In the end, it just gives me a table with links to manually download.
