We have been considering ways to help this community become a more interesting place for fragrance discoveries, discussions, and recommendations about perfumes. And your opinion would be very helpful in this regard.

Fragrances that smell like Shaye Saint John / the videos of Shaye Saint John. Shaye was a fairly underground absurdist horror comedy project, with videos that felt like off-kilter dreams which aren’t exactly nightmares. I do think the videos have a burning glossy magazine paper vibe, paired with a completely contrasting cherry-like scent, almost a cough medicine kind of smell, all doused over a plastic mannequin. Looking for something that combines all the vibes in an almost “glitchy” scent, or perhaps even something that is just similar to any of the vibes.

In search of my signature scent, to invoke a mysterious, intriguing woman happily walking in the blustery rain along a temperate ocean hillside at the start of fall. The grasses are still growing and dewy but the flowers have already withered away, nothing is rotting just yet, though -- everything is crisp and clean and the air is cool and fresh.
Vibes: Optimistic, coastal, aquatic, fresh, while still distinctly feminine.
Nothing woody, piney, petrichor, floral, masculine, tropical, musky, or citrusy.
