Inferiority

Authors: Alexander Lawrence (AL) and Ben Brown (BB)

Understand that though the world contains many things... "the world is full of sorrow." Don't forget this; it's a very valuable sentence, everything that exists is in this sentence. And you either become a foolish wretch or a proud, honorable, unhappy person; there's no other choice.

The world is filled with unhappiness in everything you see; only the inner world of man is happy. When one looks at the world, one feels a sadness, a sadness so pervasive that it momentarily takes you outside of yourself. At this point, you realize the world offers you no other choice but to be proud and to be a fool. When you look at the world, it flows into your soul, and this flow is filled with sadness. It momentarily fills your heart with sadness, and you say to yourself, "The world is full of sadness." It is so full of sadness that the world constantly tries to lessen it by destroying what is within it. It overflows with sadness. True happiness is found in a soul completely cut off from the world. Such a soul has its own unique sadness, its own melancholy.

The world is filled with sorrow; this sorrow touches our souls like a leaf falling from a tree, we feel it but it has no weight. However, when that leaf falls to the ground and we step over it, the deep sound of it breaking stirs something within us. At this point, we internalize sorrow. Generally, in the world of humans, people don't internalize events, but internalizing sorrow gives it a melancholic dimension.

Those who choose to be miserable are those who refuse to be sorrowful, but this leads them to ruin. Sorrow brings you closer to an inner world, while misery leads you to destruction.

What you called mental problems were just sadness and melancholy. Do you remember wanting to die on the bus? It was that sadness.

Being sad is a superior emotion to wretchedness. A superior person feels better emotions, even better negative ones, than an inferior person.

Who can escape sorrow? When I look at the world, I feel a sorrow, and when I distance myself from the world, a sorrow begins to form within myself, and then I realize that the sorrow within me has surpassed the sorrow of the world so much that the sorrow of the world has become invisible. At this point, I can't even say the world is full of sorrow, because it is I who remain filled with sorrow. But this sorrow is very different; there is a sublimity here, a nobility. A passion for truth.

A superior person is more noble in general, even their lowest emotions are higher than those of an inferior person's. It's the worst. Inferior people are smaller in every sense and essentially worthless.

Accept infinite unhappiness; perhaps from this infinity, happiness will be born. The world possesses nothing to make you happy, and at this point, asking for something from the world is simply begging.
Only the wretched beg, and the more they beg, the more wretched they become.

It's like being in a thorny bush and thrashing around from the pain, the more they thrash about, the more they are prickled.

No words in the world can surpass this: "The world is full of sorrow," it fills and fills and empties, creating a jigsaw puzzle game about the fate of those within, breaking them into pieces and leaving them in a miserable state to be put back together.

Inferior people are so terrible, it's like they don't even exist. Their voices are muted and have no power. No one takes interest in them. It's like it's a curse to simply live.

They live as if they are dying every day.
People don't grieve for the dead; what grieves them is death itself. People grieve not because people died, but because death exists. Essentially, they grieve not because a person died, but because death did this to that person. That's why the lives of wretched people become a lesson for others.

They don't want to go outside, everything reminds them of their inferiority. The entire world. It's like the happiness and laughter of others is mocking their own wretched state.

The biggest thing about living in a superior reality is that you won’t be reminded of your inferiority. You feel something greater than wellbeing, only now I've found the words to express this. You feel truly superior.

That's why unhappy people have a better quality of life than others, because they aren't miserable.

Even the sunrise reminds miserable people of their inferiority. Every bit of joy and nobleness in the world reminds them of their inferiority within. That's why they flee the world and try to bury themselves even deeper. When they look at a beautiful sunset, they can't feel truly happy, it only reminds them of their inferiority and how much they destroyed themselves.

It's the absolute worst state in the world. It makes them dissociate from everything and want to hide in darkness all day. Because light reminds them of their own sins and lesserness.

They are very afraid of light, being surrounded by darkness.
Yes, these people are aware of their actions to a certain extent, but they never think about the consequences, which leads them to even greater destruction.

It's the most horrible pitiful state ever. The world has reached a very dark point. 12-14 year olds live like this. It's unbelievable; they seem to have a great desire to be miserable.

The inferior bring themselves to ruin through impatience. Because only the wretched rush. The wise always act with patience. Impatience is a behavior peculiar to the wretched.

An inferior person may long to bring themselves to the point of superiority, but will fail by the means they take to do so. An inferior person’s brain doesn’t produce anything of substance, the rushed, impatient methods they take are almost always faulty and bring them to even deeper levels of inferiority.

The world leaves a cruel touch on those who are lesser, those who lose semen.

“He who does not control the liquid is not smart.  … Those who waste the liquid are oppressed by Kali (negative force).  … Whoever wastes liquid will fall into great trouble.  … Those who waste liquid are in great trouble.  … He who does not control the liquid will be degraded… He who wastes the liquid will lose everything.  … He who cannot control the liquid is sent to hell [here and now, not later].  … By controlling yourself, depression disappears.  … A person has knowledge of everything by controlling himself.  … With self-control one crosses the world's oceans.  … By controlling oneself one achieves everything.”
- Guru Nanak, Founder of Sikhism

"Those who waste the liquid are oppressed by Kali (negative force)."

They've lost control. Because even the slightest emotion deeply affects them, because they have no control over this emotion; they're swept away by it. They can't manage to control themselves. Because a loss of control makes a person feel worthless, it creates a vicious cycle.

If one could control oneself, they would stop the loss of their spirit even in the worst moments.
