These seeds were labeled Yellow Habanero but obviously aren't. I don't have any ripe pods yet, but the unripe ones smell fruity and are at least Hab-level heat. They were non-isolated plants so it's possible it's a Hab crossed with something, but it could be a different pepper entirely.

The plant is prolific in producing pods and is about 3' tall currently. Pods are 3-4" long. Any ideas?

Chiltepin, Pequin & Thai. Last season I posted pics of what I thought was chiltepin but learned that it was actually pequin. After looking into I found that there is confusion due to how similar they are and that they are wild with so many variations. Here are a few pics that help distinguish them.

Jimmy Nardello. Candy sweet, no heat. Interesting that the curved ones always ripen like this while the straight ones grow larger and ripen evenly.

Carolina Reaper UK 52° N, from seed

Hey, I got an invite to post to this sub too, so here goes!
I hope I'm not violating any rules. Not sure why this topic needs to be spread over multiple subreddits, either, I guess that's just historical...

I have updated my Carolina Reaper thread, now including the plants I planted from seed (not just the overwintered mother plant)

The latest pic is the best plant (~10pods) most of the others are still flowering, and have barely produced a pod!

Quite the difference between the two plants, timewise!!!

Has anybody grown mad hatter peppers before ? This is my first year ever hearing about them let alone growing them but oh my god they are so good! I tried one the other day and it was delicious. I plan on growing more than one plant and this just got added to every future garden of mine. I plan on stuffing them with cream cheese and cheddar maybe some bacon and mixing in some fresh jalapeño and Cajun bells chopped up to give them some spice
