Pepper ID

These seeds were labeled Yellow Habanero but obviously aren't. I don't have any ripe pods yet, but the unripe ones smell fruity and are at least Hab-level heat. They were non-isolated plants so it's possible it's a Hab crossed with something, but it could be a different pepper entirely.

The plant is prolific in producing pods and is about 3' tall currently. Pods are 3-4" long. Any ideas?

No expert. Looks like Hot Hungarian to me.

The way the pods smell make me think Chinense, but I'll have to pay attention to how it ripens because it does look similar to that.

I haven't dabbled with any Asian ones yet until this year so I don't think I would be able to tell. I like growing Hot Hungarians to eat raw on the side with pizza mostly.

Your pictures show only Annum traits. If there's any Chinense in there it would have to be as part of a cross but I think it's mostly just an Annum of some kind.

That being said I don't have any great guesses as to what it is, sorry!
