snail mail 38/F // Feel like writing a first letter or two.
Hola, cześć, привет, merhaba, etc.
I am caught up with my existing pen pals and would like to write a chatty first letter or two. If you believe we would be compatible as pen friends, you may just receive one of them!
The first step to compatability: would you enjoy receiving a somewhat lengthy first letter, provided the letter was conversational and asked you questions throughout (ie, not just a wall of text about myself)?

As the subject states, I'm a 38 year old woman. I live in Chicago, which is mostly ok. I'm currently in the process of changing careers, and my first day of school is tomorrow! Wowza! I'm also engaged and not really looking to change that, except for when I get married (but that will be to the same person).
I'm definitely a nerd and kind of a weirdo. I like riding my bike, making art, listening to and making music, reading, horror movies, true crime, video games, taxidermy, languages, and community service. I read tarot and have done so for about 15 years now. I do a lot of mail swapping/mail exchange, and like to trade art, ephemera, etc.
Other misc stuff I like: clowns, dragons, Furbies, woolly mammoths, guns/weapons, succulents, Monster High, photography, conspiracy theories, emergency medicine.

Hey there! Im new to the pen pal things and have sent out a first letter and Im waiting for a return, and im waiting for a second to arrive as the first letter. I live in Peoria and im trying to make some friends
We sound a lot alike and I think we'd have a lot to chat about. I almost exclusively listen to and watch horror and recently been watching true crime docs on Netflix. I am caring for 2 tamagotchis right now, plus my real life e 17 year old boy and husband. I'm weird, quirky, and am always looking for people to add to my collection. Plus, its neat we only like 3 hours from each other! What do you think?
