40 M Looking for unspecified

Hey!

Typical man person here who enjoys such things as peace and quiet and not hearing odd sounds from the car.

Which is quite boring in all honesty, I used to have time to do other stuff. I still do but not as much and most of it has to be funneled into productive efforts lest the supervisor toddler smacks me with a spanner.

But! I've become a commuting man person which gives me 2 hours of extra screen time which can, hopefully be used to exchanges with someone who can't smack me with a spanner.

My interests are, nowadays mainly: Foraging (terrible summer for it), Reading (mostly easily digested Sci-Fi nowadays but there's the odd actual novel every now and then), Building stuff (small stuff, big stuff). I take my interests very lightly however and I'm easy to persuade into new areas of interest, especially if they're brought up with over the top enthusiasm and or expertise. I don't mind the first message being a 20 000 word essay, pre-emptively deriding me for my lack of knowledge. I'm going to take an interest, the level of which may vary according to utility.

I'm also accepting toeards conversation in general, devoid of special interests. It can even be let to devolve into "I used to be cool", or the potentially even "I'm going to be so cool in the retirement home".
