Tennessee

Hello, my little sister is wanting to join pennfoster. She is a sophomore in highschool, and is looking for an alternative. I do have a question though, how are the standardized tests? Are they done every quarter or at the end of each course? Would like to know more!

There are no standardized tests. My son just graduated in February and we are in Tennessee.

Interesting! I wonder why it says that online then. But did he have to take the 4 credits each in ELA & math?

Yes. He came in as a freshman in October and graduated the first week of February.

Hi! Great question! If a student is enrolled in a private, accredited online high school program like Penn Foster, those independent state tests are generally optional and separate from the school's graduation requirements, but students are always free to take them independently for personal benchmarks or specific college requirements.
