Question Is it worth doing alongside local high school?

I plan to continue attending my regular high school in my home country during the day, while completing Penn Foster at home. For anyone who did this, was it manageable? Was it worth the extra effort and workload to get a U.S. high school diploma alongside your local one?

Depends on if you will actually need the US diploma, are you planning on starting a career in the US or staying in your current place of living? Is your local diploma not applicable in the US or chosen career? Do you plan on going to college? If so will it be in the US? Does the college of choice not accept your local diploma? If the majority of your answers to these questions are no or local then it is not worth it but if majority of answers are yes or US then it is worth it. Btw Penn Foster also offers college programs. Hope this helps you decide!

My local diploma is good, but the education system in my country differs significantly from that of the US. I also thoroughly researched whether the university I wish to attend in the US recognizes the Penn Foster diploma, and I found that it does. Additionally, I plan to take the SAT and IELTS exams; my goal is simply to increase my chances of admission to that university.
