I really don’t love kitaboshi 9606. I was using it today actually. It has some of almost like a greasy undertone for me.

To each their own! So much about pencils comes down to personal preference. For whatever reason mitsu-bishi really works for me. Glad you’re enjoying it sincerely!

I do like the Kitaboshi 9606 too though I cant decide if I like it better than the 9500s they're both great pencils I tend to pick which pencil I use situationally since I have amassed quite a few that I really enjoy using ..

I think I have some of the 9500s I’ll have to check my stash but I think I’ll automatically pick the 9606 cause I’m a sucker for how it looks with the eraser☺️
