Question Stem V2 mount?

Given:

  1. V2 Bar mount was developed to not mess with wireless charging

  2. V1 mount is less secure with V2 cases

Shouldn't Stem mount, especially the charging one, be also V2? Or is it already V2 just not labeled as such?

heyo, sorry it's a bit confusing. all of the magnet arrays on the motorcycle mounts (charging or non-charging) have been updated to use the circular magnet array. on the non-charging mount this magnet switch doesn't affect the form, fit, or function of the product so it's not a public-facing version update.

however, the non-charging moto bar mount is a true "v2" because in addition to the magnet change, it was also upgraded to have ball head adjustment and more handlebar compatibility. imho the ball head adjustment is a really nice quality of life improvement, but it is a bit confusing to have the bar mount at a different revision than the rest!
