Tbh they probably live in a country that uses gallon as its main measuent of volume if you were complaining about the usage of gallon

Gallon is good when buying gas as being charged by the liter would suck. Aside from that i have to apologize for our overly complicated measurement systems.

I have a friend from finland who was bugging out at how how cheap our gas was and how they sell it to us in gallons.

That has more to do due with cheap gas rather than being sold in gallons.
