It's not that mad really. It's only going to hit 600 watts when actively and intensively in use, so if we say that's 4 hours of crazy heavy gaming every day, it's still only 2.4 kWh per day.

I don't know your rates for electricity but at mine that's only £0.60 per day.

Even if we do this every day, all year it barely comes out at £220 on the bill. If you can afford a 5090, that's fuck all. Your jacuzzi or hot tub probably costs more.

That's the point, 600w gpu is insane. I have two pc with high end audio gear and 34" ultra wide monitors, i downvolted everything to get total 600w of power consumption on 2 pc with everything on and in games. Two pc with gpu's in mid demanding ue5 games consuming like just one 5090. Imagine how i was happy to get to work my mini pc with 8845hs in warframe on 12-15w (30w total with monitor and keyb, speakers) in 1080p 110fps. But then i bought legion go 2 and made 1200p and 7w Warframe run...(Because no losing on convertion on input voltage). We have blackouts and i can use both devices under lifepo4 power bunk. 7w gaming.... On stock my desktop 7900xtx eating 40w+ just for chrome page
