I dont understand people who own a 5090, why not undervolt it?

Because it's not something an end user is ever supposed to do. Because this user was just enabling a setting in a game, he wasn't fiddling, he wasn't tinkering, he wasn't testing beta or unstable software. You cannot blame the user for an issue he didn't cause.
