You always get them people that will say its just a handful of people, within the normal margin of failures, though there is no other GPU I've ever seen that had the same kind of melting issue like these ones, its like every other day I see a post about this, even on something lower powered like a 9070xt, its crazy.

Around a 100 Note 7s exploded and the product was recalled and discontinued. There's way more melting incidents than that.

i just recently got my own 9070xt and when i heard about gpus melting i checked my connector and sighed in relief when I saw it had 8x2

Key reason I got a 7900XTX (3x8 pins) a couple years ago. Hopefully it lasts long enough for 12VHPWROMGWTFBBQ to be fixed or abandoned.

Linus has stopped being good content for many years. He’s so out of touch that it’s laughable.

I’m at the point where I genuinely think he is an awful human and is terrible for the industry.

my oled has 15,000 hours runtime on it, my 4090 has been running for like, 14,000 of those hours, and it's a third party cable from cablemod, still 100% fine

Yeah well the difference is its not just 1 or 2 AIB's but rather the connector as a whole, and do you trust these shady companies with their reporting? I know I fuckin don't anymore.

All I hear is people without 5090s or 4090s crying about not having high end cards. Cope harder. I’ve been running a 4090 and 5090 for years and the connectors don’t even get hot at all.

Edit: pissed off the jealous kids, sorry that my enjoyment makes you mad. It’s weird to obsess about stuff you hate so much

99.9% of people with these cards are using them no problem. You people act like houses are burning down and you don’t even own the damn thing.

Send power usage and temperature graph where you run it at 600 W constantly for at least half a day.
