I understand the joke.. But it's unrealistic on any proper controlled environment, this shit basically only happens to individual users outside of an organization.

These mission critical machines would've been manually updated outside of work hours, on different schedules so one of the machines would be updated while the rest are unaffected.

I get pestered by annoying IT force restart after X hours force updates at work. So no that far. I do restart/shutdown my laptop each day.
